Hey All...Will undergo IVF for the first time this w/e...#1 IUI BFN #2 IUI BFN #3 IUI BFP (blighted ovum) #4 IUI BFN...Now IVF...Stimulated w/ Follistim 75...Day 13 over 15 Eggs ranging from 1.3-1.7...Me 31 PCOS...Husband 37 Quality Swimmers...Ready to make it happen.. little nervous but very prayerful..Anyone in the same boat? Looking for an IVF Buddy

Welcome and good luck with your cycle. Sorry to hear about your blighted ovum. My friend just went through that and I know it can be devastating. Good to see you are back to enjoy more fun and excitement with TTC. Good luck with your cycle.

Best wishes to you this weekend!! We did lots of IUIs too with no success but IVF was the answer for us so I hope that for you too!! I'm sure you will find lots of women on here to "talk" to who have gone through or are going through exactly what you are experiencing...keep praying and good luck!!!

Hi tylord - I wish you luck in this cycle, when will ou have ER .
Im doing first IVF cycle this month too, but I'm behind you , still on BCP until 17th, currently on Lupron. Im having terrible hot flashes from Lupron, I can't even sleep at night. Has anyone been on Lupron and in the same situation as me?
I hope and pray that everythings goes well with stimulation, lots of good eggs and of course BFP to all of us

I am just starting IVF this June and I really don't know what to expect. How far are you in the process? I would really like to hear about your experience-it always helps me to hear someone's view going through it rather than just the "doctor talk" I hear.

Hello Everyone,
I had a may cycle. This is our first IVF cycle I am now 3dpt. I am taking it easy at home nervous about every single twinge i feel. We have done 2 IUI BFN. Then changed RE and did this cycle. I go on the 22nd for my first BETA! Its nice to know that their are others out there.

Hi my name is Clair, Im in Cyprus having Ivf after my partner being told 4years ago he couldnt have kids. We got a second opion and now having treatment over hear as they have a very good reputation. Id like to tell you i had a happy ending and hopefully next time i will but sadly our 1st attenped has failed. Its been a long road for the past 2months as i was found to have emdemitriosis which is very common in woman but harder to concive naturally. o they had to treat that 2st. I had to wait for my cycle, then start taking the mercilon pill for 21days then go back for a scan. I could then start the injections, one in my belly in the morning, then in my bum in the evening. After 10days we wnt back for another scan, the doctor was pleased and said we'd go in fo the egg and sperm collection on the Tuesday. Im not sure how many eggs they got from me, they only found a few swimmers in my partner but this was great news for us as we was prepered to go sperm donor if we had to. They ferterlized 4, but by the time we went back on the Friday they had 3 embrios to put back inside me. As they said 1 was no good, 1 was ok, and 2 was very good. I was quite hopefull that at least 1 would work out of 3! I took it very easy for te 1st few days i wasnt aloud to bath or shower for 36 hours and no sex till the 27th when i done the pregnency test. I was on 7 differant tablets 3 times a day and, to be honest i dont even no what they was all for i didnt have internet at the time to look them up. They dont explain things vry good over hear, you just try to trust them. Anyway on the day f the test, me and my partner woke up early i was so scared to do the test. We done it and it come up negative, we was gutted, i spoke to the doctor he said to do a blood test as it dosnt always show up on a home test so my hopes was up again.... As my boobs was sore, and like period pains in my stomach from the 2nd week and some of my friends aid they had them signs,. But again the blood test was negative. So thats it over with until the next time. I was very down that day, i even got very drunk as i hadnt been drinking! I thought we had to wait 12weeks till we started again, but the doctor said we dont. So im now waiting for my cycle thn i start the pill again.. Im not sure why, tis time im going to ask a lot more questions!!!!! Everyone i know or who knows someone who has had Ivf, they have tried it 2 or 3 times before it has worked. Hopefully you will have sucess 1st time, as i also know a couple who it did work for them, we wasnt that lucky. But we will try and try until it does work. Ive just been told to keep positive and not give up.. So thats my advise to you. Firstly id like to wish you all the luck, and please keep me updated.
