hI there
God I'm SO pleased I'm cycling with you guys - so nice to have people to share it all with!
sharon - I got a lump in my throat when I saw your post.....fingers crossed this time. can you believe how much time has gone by since we cycled together - scary!
Trace - I'm just down regging on sunday...then have to wait for af (about 1 week later)....then wait ANOTHER 5 days and then start daily stims. So I'm miles off - feels like it anyway.

Speak soon
Take care!

Hi guys

Well had our first pre treatment appointment today and we are going to hitch a ride on the ICSI roller coaster for the first time. My af is due 30th March...........if it arrives on time - never certain of that so I will be starting cycle during April - does that make me an ACB or MCB as I will not start sniffing until about 20th April and likely EC during May?

Very scared being a first timer and all that. Not sure I've got my head around everything yet..................

Looking forward to chatting to you all.

Love LindaJane

Hi girls
well I have got a horrible cold witha sore throat , lets hope this will go by the time I start my Buserilyn cause with cold flushes and hot flushes I wont know wether or not Im coming or going, looking forward to seeing the ovam person on Monday to find out more whats going on , I should start Buserilin in less then 2 weeks , my god its going to go quick , I just keep thinking that if she doesnt make more then 8 eggs then she could pull out , so I guess I will be in for a rough ride !!! I wander if they will tell me step by step , each scan result?, I did a sneaky thing yesterday , well she is from the care clinic same as mine and I thought I would scan their bords and see if I can find out who she is , but no she wasnt on there , they dont give names but I just thought I could suss her out by her recipient letting her down and me coming along, Not a sausage

Have a great weekend
We are looking at a new house tomorrow

Glad I'm in the right place and delighted that others are on same time scales as us.

Traci, as a teacher sore throats and colds are common place - the best remedy I have found is Strepsils extra strong and that new Lemsip that you put straight on your tongue. Mind you since I've been on these Dr Glenville vits and 1g of vit C a day I've not had my usual share of colds...........must be working somewhere!

Good luck to all, off to see Billy Bragg tonight with DP tonight for some R&R.

Feeling a bit down I said to dh today I hope I'l have a mothers day card next year,in fact I hope we all do.
Dh and me are fuming had any one read the sun today about the woman in Manchester left her baby in the car with no food or drink while she went clubbing and drinking its only when one of the bouncers saw her staggering back to the car he stopped her from driving then he saw the baby,it makes my blood boil the stupid ***** doesnt deserve children

Hello everyone

This is the first time that I have looked at this site and I thought it would be good to join in. We have so called unexplained infertility and have had three failed IUIs. I am just about to start IVF and will be starting sniffing at the end of March.

I have no idea what to expect and keep being told to not expect it to work first time or I will get too disappointed. That is impossible, every month I started getting more and more obsessed when it was time for my period.

Are there many people out there who had IVF that worked first time and anyone else like me who has no idea why they are not getting pregnant. No-one has found any problems internally with me and my partner's sperm are supposedly on top form.

I would love to hear from someone in the same position

HI Tania
welcome!
SOOOO much good luck with your first IVF!

I'm afraid ours didnt work first time.....and I wont lie its a bit rough at the imte. But you sort of brush yourself off and get on with it again, eventuallY!

We have very severe male factor - so cant really compare notes re unexplained .....but I am sure we are all going thru lot of the same emotions....so welcome anyway!

Gem - I have no idea whats happened to Jo - I tried to track her down on the other board - but no sign. Its veyr weird and worrying as she was SUCH a good correspondant - weird to go offline so suddenly
Yes her baby was due now - and was only thinking the other day that had my forst ICSI worked ours would be due now too. MAD!

Just been for my prostap injection - no probs. I wanted ot go to the gym this afternoon but my DH and my Mum wont let me out of the house! O well I'll have to sit on my arse and wath tele all afternoon instead.

BUT I WANT IT RECORDED HERE THAT I DID TRY TO GO TO THE GYM, OK!!???!!!!

Hi - Millie, KAren, Traci - hows it goin?

Hi Caz1

thanks for replying.
Have you been trying for a long time?
I am trying to be positive. We have our information session on 29th March and I start sniffing on 31st March, but I am dreading the side effects of the sniffing and injecting.

Do you know of anyone who has had treatment in barts Hospital, London, which is where I have been going?

Hi Girls,

Hope you all had a good weekend. I think it's been a bit of a weird one for lots on the board, as it was Mother's Day. :(

Well...a week ago I thought I would go for it and get on the bandwaggen and brought chinese tea (£80 for 2 weeks), Tablets (£60 - 30 a day for 6 weeks!!) and a course of acuputure (5 for £150) - I had my first session of acupunture which was wonderful, I've been taking the tablets and am rattling! But I had my first taste of the tea yesterday......OH MY GOD, IT IS DISCUSTING!!! :!: I Really can't take it, I urged at every sip and felt sick for hours, couldn't get rid of the smell. I made DH taste it and although he said it was discusting he thought he could manage it!!! Not a chance - the thing is he doesn't know how much I spent on the stuff (and says he doesn't want to know!!!) I don't suppose they will take it back and give me a refund either. Does anyone want to buy some tea:?: !!!! All you girls who have managed to drink the stuff are so brave! Gem, I know you said you thought it had helped you, but I just can't!

Well, also found out that my sister, who is pregnant will have her baby on the 29th March, it's breech so she needs a c-section. I'm getting excited now, this will be my first nephew or niece!! :) Although I'm sure I will ball my eyes out when I see it for the first time! But I know that they will all understand that!

Gem - my thoughts exactly about that cow from Manchester - should have had a longer sentence than that!! I was ranting also on the same day about the prettiest little 3 year old girl in a car who was bouncing around on the back seat of a car while her parents were just ignoring her in the front - they don't deserve it!

Caz & Gem - I just don't know where Jo is!!! Bit worrying isn't it, but perhaps she's got her handsful and can't post?

Speak to you all soon

sharon - re Jo - well I hope so - she hasnt posted for AGES tho.

re Chinese tea -ABSOLUTELY GRIM and STINKS!!. Me and DH drank them last time - and no go - so this time I've boycotted it. We'll see what differnce it makes. i think its did regulate my periods a bit??

Got not much to say. Prostap doesnt seem to have had any side effects so far which is good I guess. Not just waiting on AF.........

Take care

Cazx

ps Sharon - I bet you'll be chuffed when you see your sisters baby - I really do. I always think its the being told someones PG thats the worst bit. the baby arriving isnt ever QUITE as bad as you anticipate. Hopefully!!
