Loonpants & Woppa

Post by sue.m »

Hi both,

saw that you had both posted in response to Fiona's news, and just wondered how you were both doing.

I don't post much these days, but still like to dip in to the boards and see how everyone is getting on.

I hope you're both well.

Oh Woppa that's really fantastic, I hadn't realised that you were pregnant. I've never been able to get my head around fertility friends.....can just about find the gallery!

The fear never leaves you does it, they're just so precious! And don't think that you'll relax once your little one arrives, because you then have a new set of worries.........but they're so worth it!

I was lying in bed last night watching Dan, and thinking about that first night spent in hospital with him. He was just so tiny and wonderful, we were awake most of the night due to my snoring neighbour and her screaming baby(only screaming because her mother wouldn't wake!), but it was so lovely to just spend that time alone together. The time just goes by so fast. I'm due back at work in May, so am having to organise a nursery place........dreading leaving him! Luckily it will only be for three days, and for 2 of those he'll be with my mom, so it's not so bad.

Well sorry I've turned this into a post about ME.........but this is what happens when you're home all day, with someone who can only gurgle at you!

You take care of yourself and your little cargo Woppa, I'm so pleased for you.

Nice to see some oldies posting, especially with good news!!

I don't post very often as not sure where I belong anymore.

I am now 17 weeks pregnant and starting to relax a bit more now. I have a little bump starting to appear :D

As you may remember I lost a baby at 14 weeks last year. It has been a natural pregnancy again so it just goes to show that ICSI must have kick started us and the fact that DH was away for four months and probably storing up some super sperms :)

I still keep in touch with JD from way back on the site and her little one is called Dan too and he is 15 months old now.

I have made some brilliant friends on this site and I am glad that we have travelled this journey together. (sloppy pregnancy hormones kicking in).

Love to you all.

Hi Woppa and Loonpants

It's fantastic news to read of your pregnancies! It's wonderful to hear IVF/nature has smiled on you again. I can't wait to hear your baby stories.

I'm now proud Mum to Max and Harvey who are just over 5 months old. Life is chaotic but fun. I would never have believed that you could love your children more each day - where does it all come from?

Take care of yourselves and keep us posted!

Hi Woppa and Lisa

lovely to hear from you both and so pleased about your pregnancies. I often wonder how you are both doing, we used to chat a long time ago, or so it seems sometimes.

After 7 years I am pregnant with twins (nearly 23 weeks) and just can't wait for term time and for them to be here.

Take care of yourselves and let us know how you are doing.

With love

OMG you're both PG - what fabulous news! Like Sue I have never quite sussed the FF site. Its so good to hear some happy endings. It must be so hard to relax and enjoy your pregnancies after what you've been here, but I hope you're both beginning to believe it really is now your turn.

After 5 full tmts and 1 FET I'm living mainly on the "life after" side now, and have made some great friends - we're meeting up again next week. However, have just got a letter from the clinic asking what we want to do with our 2 remaining frosties - and can't quite bring ourselves to let them go just yet, so haven't quite given up on the dream that one day I might be joining you.

With much love

Lisa........that's so bloody fantastic, can't believe that you and Woppa are both pregnant and I hadn't realised it!

I remember that you broke my chatroom cherry a very long time ago. We were being maudlin and you asked did I still cry when Aunt Flo arrived........turned out that we both did!

Aaahh, I'm so pleased for you.

Look after yourself and your little bump.

mmm...so when I want to think about trying for a little brother or sister for Dan, then I just need to tell DH that we've got to abstain for 4 months......yeah, that'll go down well, NOT.
