Hope,

I'm glad to hear your anatomy scan went well. I had mine on the 15th and both babies look good! Everyone keeps saying how awful it's going to be being pregnant during the summer lol i dont know it still seems so far away to me. I feel like this pregnancy is going by really fast yet so slow at the same time.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Would love to hear some more updates!

Hello everyone, I have been keeping up but a little quiet on this board. I miscarried twins before at 11 weeks and lost another one not long after that so I feel a bit more comfortable this time around. I found out what I am having...Baby A is a boy and Baby B is a girl! We are so excited! Now we need to do a names survey, I think most women were having boys if I remember right...so anyone want to talk names? I finally registered which was strange, people kept asking me where we were registered at, I guess everyone thinks I am really having a baby this time, hard to wrap my head around that!

Babyhope - Congrats on the Boy and Girl! DH and I decided that he would name our boy baby and I would name our girl baby (although we will have veto power if the name is awful! lol) He is probablygoing to go with Jackson and I think Lincoln is also on his list. Right now I am debating between Madelyn, Julianna, Eliana and Meadow. I want something different but not too out there. I'm afraid Madelyn is still popular right now and Meadow may be a little too different lol. I don't think I will be able to decide for sure until I see her.

I think I am registering this coming weekend.....it's crazy that this is starting to finally seem real!!!!

Hey guys! Bad news - I'm in the hospital on bed rest. I had massive bleeding Thursday night that they think was a hematoma from Baby A's low-lying placenta, but even worse is Baby A's has has less fluid than before. They think there may be a leak, but they have no way of checking. I haven't had any leaking and the bleeding stopped Thursday night, so that's all great news. We have another u/s on Monday to check the fluid around A and I think that will determine whether I go home or not and/or hw much bed rest I will be prescribed.

Anyway, wanted to let you know what's happening here. I hope everyone is doing well! I'll keep you posted.

Coco - I hope everything is ok. I've been thinking about you and your babies and keep checking in looking for an update....hopefully you are just relaxing and taking it easy!

Well I have my 6 month ultrasound next week and I'm looking forward to that. On another note DH just lost his job so needless to say it's been a tough week. I am trying to remain as calm as I can for the babies sake but it's so hard. Right now I have health benefits but they will end once I go out on maternity leave.....we could get cobra coverage but that would cost almost two grand a month!!! We don't have that kind of money. Oh well I am just trying to concentrate on the fact we have two babies coming...I know it will work out.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Annie- sorry to hear about your DH with the job loss, it's tough out there right now. Just remember that at least you have your family and GOD will see you through.

Cocosmomma- Hospital bed rest can really be tough (did it on my last pregnancy) Hope all is well with the babies. My thoughts are with you.

2 weeks ago my PERI (Doc) said I need to be seen once a week. I went in last week for us and cervix length check well my cervix has shortened to 1.7 and having contracting that were showing up on us. I was put on meds and told to stay off my feet (laying down) for 2 hours spans 3 times a day. This is very hard when I am chasing my 2 year old daughter all over the house. I go back tomorrow for a fetal fibronection test and another ultrasound to check my cervical length. I will keep you all posted.

Well I just had my 6 month ultrasound and both babies are over a pound!! I am feeling them move around like crazy especially when I go to bed at night. It's so amazing!!!

So far I've gained 15 pounds....I'd be curious to see how much others have gained so far......if you want to share lol. I know these last few months the pounds really pack on as the babies get bigger.

Hi Everyone - I am sorry I haven't posted in months as nothing has really been going on with me just the normal pregnancy stuff. I do check on everyone daily, just nothing to really post. I can't believe the third trimester is so close! I wanted to respond to Annie and tell her that I am only having a singleton and I already gained 15 lbs at my last appt two weeks ago! It is really starting to sink in now as we had the babies room painted over the weekend and our glider rock is being delivered today and the furniture this weekend. I am trying to get the room ready as I was told my shower is in June (not sure of the day as it is suppose to be a surprise) and I want to be prepared to put everything away and get it organized right away in case my little girl decides to come early. cocosmama- how are you doing? are you home yet? I am thinking of you and hopeing things are ok!

Brenda- wow can you get someone to come over and help you out so you can get the rest you need? i know it must be really hard. My frined was on her 3 rd preganancy 4th baby and she had to do the same take 3 breaks throughout the day but it was very hard for her.

Annie, you seem to be ahead of the game. i have major renovations to do in my home before the baby gets here and we haven't even started yet. We are hoping this weekend we will get the ball rolling. I have gain 16 pounds and i am only carrying one. i am really sorry to hear about Dh's job loss. The timing really stinks but i know you will get through this somehow. Things always work out at the end. Really try not to stress

Things are all good here. Nothing terrible to report. Work is insane and keeping me very busy. this little guy seems to wake me up at 3am everynight with all his movements! sometimes he keeps me up for an hour. i guess he is getting me ready for the middle of the night feedings. Last month at my 5 month sonogram the technician told me he is measuring big, he was supposed to be around 10oz and he was over a pound.

Annie, I have gained 20 lbs with twins so far (as of 1.5 weeks ago). I was seeing my RE the first 10 weeks so that is my weight starting at week 10 now I am at week 24. I am normally 120lbs, 5 foot 2. I look like I swallowed a basketball. Soon to be watermellon as its all in the front! My doc said I hadn't gained enough...I gained 10 lbs the first check up with her then 3 the second but it was one week shorter between checks the second time, still a difference in weights.
