I am getting ready to go to Europe for my IVF treatment with donor eggs.
I hadn't given it too much thought but some people have said to me: Aren't you going to a HIGH RISK specialist because of your age?
I thought, "huh?"
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this just ignorance or is it possibly good advice?
I have no other medical history that would make me HIGH RISK, other than age.
Any input is well appreciated.
Thank you.

I thought the main reason that women age 40 or older were at higher risk was related to the age of their eggs but if you are using donor eggs, then I would think you would not be high risk and would have very good chances too! Best wishes to you!
