Hi everyone, its been quiet here lately, I hope everyone is doing well

Sari- I don't think you could harm the baby in any way by wearing tight clothes. As far as the discharge I have quite alot of discharge my doc said as long as no blood or if the discharge doesn't have an odor its totally normal. Plus if you haven't had any bleeding I wouldn't worry.

aims327- yey for the last day of progesterone! Did you get your energy back after stopping it? I'm just wondering because I'm so sleepy still and I hope once i stop the PIO that I'll get some of the energy back.

AFM tomorrow is my 2nd u/s I'm excited and still a little nervous, I just hope everything is ok. How is everyone else? Any u/s coming up?

Hi Sari. I'm sure everything is fine with baby :D . I noticed a discharge (which I attributed to PIO) around about 8 wks. For awhile it was daily (really light). Now it's occasionally. I also read in "what to expect when you're expecting" that I could expect even more of a discharge in the coming weeks so I think it's common.

As far as the clothing, I too have put on something in the morning and by the end of the day it is so tight around my belly that I can't wait to get home to change! I have on a dress today and it feels so good I might just start wearing them every day  Women prolong maternity wear as long as they can so I'm sure it happens all the time. The cramps and realizing your skirt was a little too tight was probably just a coincidence.

When is your next ob appt.? I'm going in for my first today :) .

I took my last PIO shot last night. Wooohooo! For some reason my bum was sooo sore last night in bed. It's the first time it's ever felt that way. I guess it had to get in one last punch!

Sari, I'm chiming in with the rest to say, it was just progesterone stuff, no worries. I reacted severly to it, especially 2 weeks or so ago! Now that I'm off, not so many problems. I'd encourage you to wear comfortable clothing!!! :) We worked so long and hard to get pregnant, I cannot wait to look pregnant and not just a little fat!

Thank you!!!!

I was so worry.

Cimplicity - My next appoinment is on Tuesday, and is my last one with the RE. How are you feeling? I hope you have a boy and a girl.

Dys24 - I have most of my energy back when I finished my PIO. Finally I am working at least 6 hours a day, I only could work like 3 or 4 hours a day and then off to the sofa or the bed. But now, I get sleepy early at night and sometimes a little tired during the day.

Ian- I am with you. I don't want to look fat anymore. My cloth is getting pretty tight, my family gave a lot of maternity shirts for mother's day but they are pretty big. So, I have small cloth and big cloth, nothing seems to fit. Some people say: "Hey how fat you are getting" because they don't know, and I want to yell to them I am pregnant what do you expect. Of course after so many years who would think I am pregnant.

About u/s, I was reading, if the hb is 140 or more is a girl, if its less than 140 is a boy. I don't know if its true but lets prove it. Well, in my last ultrasound, at 8 weeks, the hb was 188, so I guess (and hope) a girl. Don't get me wrong if its a boy I would love him the same, but girls are so cute with those little dresses. What about the rest of you?

Sari- I'm supposed to finish my PIO today I hope!!! I'm having so many parties in the coming up weeks that i dont want to bother thinking about the shots. So I really hope that today is the last day. I never heard about the hb and predicting boy/girl !!! I always wanted to have a boy if I could choose, but either or is fine with me :D

Sari, I read the same thing about boys having slower hbs and I'm terrified! Both of my hbs were 170 and if it's 2 girls I think I'll pass out, LOL! I actually would love a girl and boy or 2 boys. I don't know what I'd do with 2 girls...love them obviously but it's a scary thought for me. The other thing is I'd feel much more pressure to continue to shoot for a boy. DH is so active and into every sport known to man. He can't wait for a son. If it's 2 girls they will SO be tomboys

dys24, I was the same way with the shot. I'd find myself out and about and go "oh crap! I haven't taken my shot!". Or plan an evening around getting home to take it. It was fine for awhile, but it got old. Even something as simple as falling asleep early around 7:00 and having to force myself to get back up to do the shot. Ok, last night was it...I'm over it now! LOL

Nicole, I'm with you too. This in-between stage kinda sucks. My belly is getting a little rounder and with the dress I have on today you can actually see a "bump". Yesterday with a tank and capris I just looked ultra frumpy! I'm also waiting for that nice round pointy belly :)

Well I had my 1st ob appt today. Things look good! They actually did another u/s even though I just had one last week. Babies looked good and were moving a LOT! I was shocked to see them moving that much :D My next appointment is in 5 weeks. It's 5 instead of 4 so that they can do one of the screening test after my 16th week. After that I'll see them once a month for awhile, then ever 2 weeks, then once a week. I was told I'd have a u/s every visit which I wasn't expecting.

As far as the screening, I was given an option to do one next week or wait to have a different one later in my second trimester. I chose the latter. It only involves a blood test and if all is fine I don't have to do any others. If not, then they will discuss amnio & cvs.

So, guess I'll just hang out for 5 weeks :?

dys - I haven't got any energy back from stopping the progesterone. I've been extremely tired this week. I haven't missed the shots or suppositories though.

Sari - I agree with Ian...wear comfortable clothing. We deserve it after how hard we've worked.

Cymplicity - I agree I don't know what to do with girls but for different reason. I was a tom boy growing up so the thought of learning how to do hair is frustrating. lol But I will learn. I will be thrilled with boys or girls. My husband is hoping for girls. He has 4 nephews that are into everything. Then one day he got to be around my 4 nieces and was surprised how well behavd they were. So ever since he's wanted girls. I've heard the prediction about heartbeats too and going by that, I will have two girls.

Hi Ladies, Sorry I've been MIA for awhile. Just been working so much and when I get home I'm so exhausted. I'm looking foward to getting some of my energy back in the 2nd trimester!
I had my first appt. at my OB office, but it was only with a nurse to discuss my medical history and fill out forms, etc. I go for my real appt. on June 1st and they will do an u/s that day.
I like the theories about the baby's heartbeat. At my last appt. the heartbeat was 153 so I guess we are all having girls...LOL. Since I already have a son I would love a girl, but either is fine with me.
My last PIO shot is tomorrow and I'm so very excited. My DH is actually out of town tonight and I think I'm going to skip the shot tonight and just do my last one early tomorrow. Is that bad?
I hope all is going well for everyone!

Dys, thanks for the ticker advice. It finally worked for me!

Hola Chicas:

So good to hear about all the u/s, and the babies moving. Ohhh, its so exciting!!!! I guess I am one of the lucky ones, I was organizing an album with the u/s and I have an U/S every week since 6 week. So I have 6,7,8,9 week, and will have another at 10 and 11. One was in my RE, the other in the Ob/Gyn office and so on.

Well, yesterday I got quite a scare. I was spotting, very pink and wasn't much, but it scare me to death. The only thing I was thinking was of all of you. I know some of you had that, specially I thought of cimplicity. But I was a nervous wreck. So I call the Ob/Gyn and she said, "you will be nervous all weekend, I know it's nothing but come over to see your baby". She is something special, so understanding, didn't even charge me for the u/s. She was right, everything is fine, it was some vaginal bleeding, she said it's normal in the first trimester, if it isn't red. But in the down side, I was suppose to end the supp last night and the Ob/gyn and the RE told me to continue for 10 more days. :(

Ct Michelle - I'm happy to see you around here. I'm sorry your treatment didn't take this time, but I know for the next time you'll be celebrating. How was your exam this last week? and How is Ella? Her birthday is soon? I hope you post some photos.

Have a great weekend!! and Enjoy being Prego, so eat all you want and sleep a lot, now we have an excuse for it.

Hi ladies! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was relaxing. We went to my parents house and did a little fishing and ate some really good food :D . I'm definitely in the disappearing belly stage these days! The first day I showed up my family was shocked to see that I was showing. I tried to tell them that I only looked that way because it was late in the day and I had just eaten. Sure enough the next day they were asking where my belly went! I'm ready for it to get here to stay because it's really hard right now deciding what to wear.

dys24, my OB took me within a week of my call. I think they usually want to see you ASAP to get you all the info you'll need. I don't think I was suppose to get an u/s because my prenatal nurse said "let's see if we can squeeze you in for a u/s while we wait for your doctor". The staff was SO incredibly nice and it felt so good to be in an office with so much positive energy.

Sari, so glad your scare turned out to be nothing! I'm also glad they were able to get you in so you didn't have to worry all weekend :)

Trying, I skipped a shot towards the end. I was exhausted, home alone and just couldn't force myself to get up to do it. I didn't feel guilty about it at all. I figured I'd been pumped with so much of the stuff, what harm could one missed shot do?

Hi girlies!

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend, mine was pretty busy and fun. Thanks all for the OB answer, I called yesterday and they were able to get me in next week thats a good thing the bad thing is its not with my reg. ob/gyn. The lady said she's booked up until the end of June and asked me if i wanted to wait, I'm not comfortable with waiting that long so I scheduled with someone else. Has anyone had that happened? I guess it would be good to meet other physicians there since my ob might not be available during delivery but I hoped to see my own doc. oh well, at least they said that they'll do another u/s :D

I started to wear maternity pants and I have the cutest bump ever! I dont fit in my reg pants anymore and if i do they'r really tight and uncomfortable. i'll try to post a pic later of how it looks like :D

ok back to work
