I was able to have my twin girls on my first round of IVF. I still have 5 frozen 3 day embryos (all good quality) at Midwest Fertility Specialists in Carmel, IN. I am contemplating doing an FET and I have a few questions:
1. Reproductively speaking I am fine, my DH has the problem. Given that I already have been pregnant, how many embryos would you advise me to put back?
2. What do you think the chances are of the FET to be successful? (again, not sure if it helps since I have already had a twin pregnancy)
Would love to hear your feedback, ghost, as well as some BTDT stories.
Thanks!
Me ~ 35; DH ~ 39
1st IVF with ICSI ~ March 08 ~ BFP!!
14dp3dt~608; 16dp3dt~1282; 18dp3dt~2289

You probably know your clinic reported 25 live births in 96 transfers of frozen embryos in your age group in 2007, for a birth rate of 26%. You might ask if they have any data more current than that. Data for 2008 won't include live birth data, but maybe they have some clinical pregnancy rates. If they do give you some newer success rates, be sure to ask exactly how they defined success.
Yes, the fact that your embryos both implanted last time could give you some advantage over the average rate.

Hi Jen, I don't have any answers to your questions, but I saw that you are going to Midwest in Carmel and I'm going there too! We are seeing Dr. Colver and he has been so wonderful. My sister went to him 12 years ago and has triplets!
Best of luck to you!!!
