hi all, just a quick note. hope everyone is well. babyhope- i love those names for your angels :D they're beautiful.

had u/s yesterday. nathan jeffrey is 4 lbs 1 oz. he was quite balled up and difficult to see him other than a couple decent looks at his face. i've been having a rough time at work the last few days, hating it as it feels like too much. my goal to work another month is dissapating, but i'm still torn about the money.

love to all, karen

Hey Ladies,

I cant believe your babies are all so big!!! My little ones are back to birth weight right now.... Even 2lb seems HUGE right now... my biggest is now 1lb 91/2 oz!!!

SO as usual it has been a rollercoaster week with good days and bad. I had to stay overnight at the hospital last night as one of our girls went downhill and could not keepp her heartrate up. We have also had 2 emergency recussitations this week so my nerves are completely fried...

Sometimes i dont think im dealing with this too well... i probably cry for about 3 hours every day. it is breaking my heart to see them so sick. They also have all been diagnosed with PDA's which is where a valve in their heart didnt close due to prematurity. Its affecting their ability to come off the respirators which in turn is causing damage to their lungs. SO now they are having extra lung meds, and if the valve wont close they will all need heart surgery to close it They are so gorgeous and perfect but watching them cry silently because they are uncomfortable just kills me.. i cant imagine them undergoing surgery

Sorry to be a downer here on the board ... on a lighter note i have posted a photo on our photobucket of one of my babies. I love it because you cant see many wires and she just looks so normal and peaceful. Please check it out, i am so proud of my babies XXX

Hi Ladies-

Kas I just wanted to say that you and your husband and your lil ones remain in my thoughts on a regular basis as I keep checking in to see how you all are progressing. I pray that you and your family find the strength to get through day by day. Let those tears out!!!! You have gone through so much and while you should be enjoying every minute of their birth, you are still dealing with such a whirlwind of emotions and many ups and downs. I'm sorry for the loss of Hunter but I am sure that he is watching down on you all and helping those lil ones along. I justed wanted you to know that you are in my thoughts if that helps at all.

All the best!

To the rest of you all, so happy to hear that the mommies-2-be are progressing along so wonderfully!!!!

AFM-Hoping to cycle again with SIRM in July/Aug. Super nervous, mainly by the fear of getting let down, but hopeful at the prosperity of starting our family.

Take care everyone and be well!!!

Kas and all, its so scary right now with all these things happening. I can only imagine what you are going through and I had a brush with that myself on Friday. I was in the hospital, I had a dream I was in labor and they were born but certainly didn't look survivable in my dream, like little balls of aliens.

You know how the hormones can make your dreams so vivid. Anyway, I woke up and thought my water broke but I think I simply wet the bed! HA! I have never been so happy to have just wet the bed! However, I didn't know so I called the doc at 6 am when I woke up and she sent me to Good Sam Hospital. They ran some tests on me and found out I was having contractions so they gave me a shot to stop it and observed me for a while. I am to relax this weekend and not do any house work, its harder than I thought just sitting around but worth it in the end. I was released and so happy to be going home with babies in my belly.

NY4th I just have a quick question for you if you don't mind since I know you do quite a bit of traveling. Have you flown with your stim meds? I'm doing a DE cycle this summer with my sis and she will have to fly here with her stims and trigger shot. I was thinking she will have to pack a little cooler or something? Wondering if she would get hassled at security?

JDC..

Yes i have travelled with them.. frankly it has alwaus amazed me that with all the needles vials etc noone at security ever said a word.. and i just did a trip all over Asia..

Also if she has the medecine she is going to use and doesnt check it through (which i wouldnt you never know if luggage gets lost) then you probably dont need a cooler.. as lomg as stuff is at room temp and is being used..

Thanks NY! and best of luck to you.....hoping we both get our bfp's soon. As far as keeping the meds cool - I guess I'll have to wait and see what meds they have her on - I know I was on a low dose hcg with had to stay cool.

Wishing all the ladies on this board the best with there recent additions, pregnancies, or upcoming BFP's!!!

Hello All After 4 months

Post by Marynaz »

Hello All,
I am not sure if you guys remember me still . I was in your cycle and when I was just 16 weeks I found out my cervic was open so I had to go through surgery and bed rest for 3 months and in April 24th my little ones came 3 months early. I had really bad time and I am sure you can say.
Anyway they are doing fine now but have to stay at ICU till their real due date which was JULY 27th. Please pray for me as well as them and good luck to all of you brave mothers:)

hi mary! how nice to hear from you.. sounds like the twins and you have had a bit of a rough beginning, but it's a beginning all the same. congratulations! what are their names? how's motherhood so far?

hi jdc and jan, nice tohear from you too!

as for me, quit work the other day, went on medical leave- nothings' wrong, just worn out, so doc put me on medical leave til due date so i can get benefits. feel so relieved! although i kinda don't know what to do with myself in some moments of the day, used to working 40 hrs a week.

nathan's moving round lots, it's wonderful. we're in a heat wave here that should break tomorrow, been brutal! thank god for the lake near our house. we don't experience enough of this to justify getting a/c, but i'm considering it.

how's everyone else? NY, Kas, Lynnie, Gina, chris, babyhope...

I can't believe that most of you will be delivering next month. Boy does time go by fast.

Mary - Congrats on your babies being born. I am sure the last 6 weeks has been crazy. Betch'a can't wait to take them home.

Karen - Have a good time relaxing before Nathan is born. That must be nice that your Dr put you on medical leave so you could get benefits. I wish all DR's were that nice.

Kas - Hope and praying that your little ones are still hanging in there.

Ny4thtry - Good luck at ER. Hope you get a couple of good CGH eggs. How much longer are you going to wait to transfer or have you decided to go with a surrogate? Have fun with you new puppy.

Jandc = Nice to hear from you. I am also super nervous that this next cycle won't work. I don't know how much more of this I can take. Keep us posted and come join the June/july board if ya want.

babyhope - Your little twins are so cute. I love the names.

AFM - Nothing really new. I really enjoyed my vacation and hated coming back to work. I started estrace this past Monday. Will start stims before the end of the month. I am not excited at all for this next cycle. I am just ready to be done with IVF.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
