HI ladies,

I love hearing the heart beats it keeps me sane as I am sure it does for you too. DH is ordering me a doppler today so I can hear them whenever I want...... He is the best!!!

Appt went well, had another 4D they look great, Baby "C" Arianna, got camera shy and flipped so we coulld not get her. However after the US went into to see my peri, I spilled protein and had elevated BP so he put me on bedrest and ordered a 24 hr urine test for preeclampsia.

DH has not let me do anything since. I am waiting right now for my phone to ring with the results. He also let me know that in the next 4 weeks or so I willbe in the hospital until delivery, deliver will be at or about weeks 33, whcih is aroubd June 7th or so. My next appt is 4/8/09 and then every week after that...... He is a great DR and Hospital is rated # 2 in the country as a level 3 NICU and Neonatologist is #1 in NY. I think we are in good hands, so I am following whatever he says to do..

Keep me posted on your progress. I love hearing how wonderful all our little peanuts are doing after having such a hard time getting here.

Baby dust to all

Elida- I am sorry to hear about your bp and protein in your urine. I know it will be hard but make sure you follow your dr advice. You don't want to deliver those girls this early. Stay well and keep us posted.

Elida - hope you're doing well! Glad the babies are okay. And how exciting to get a doppler! I've been tempted to get one but my money keeps going out the door for other things.

Wonder- thank you so much! We didn't buy A THING until we found out the sex. We had some neutral outfits that other people got us and some other things but we did buy a few baby girl outfits this weekend and I bought the crib bedding today. Plus, we picked out the crib. So I finally feel a little better about our process- for awhile, I felt terribly behind. We named her Brannigan Teresa. My husband actually made up Brannigan - I've never even heard it before but I love it.

Can you believe that in a few months we're going to actually raise these babies?? I keep thinking that I'll be pregnant forever - hard to believe that in such a short amount of time, our little ones will be here.

How has everyone been feeling??

Hi girls, it's been so quiet on our board lately. I guess that means everyone is doing well and gearing up for July! I went for another u/s yesterday and our girl posed for the prettiest picture. We could see her face as clear as day...it was amazing! We had a slight scare in that when they were looking at her brain, they noticed a slightly elevated fluid level but it's so minute that our doc doesn't seem worried at all. I will go back in 2 weeks for another u/s to make sure it has gone down or at least not gotten higher. She said sometimes it's due to an infection that the baby may get and tends to resolve itself. I'm praying this is the case and trying not to let it worry me. How is everyone else? I've been feeling lots of kicks and movement lately. Is this the same with you all? Hope everyone is feeling good and enjoying this wonderful time.

Hi girls- I hope everyone is doing well. I can't believe I hit 30 weeks today. Only 8 or 9 weeks left to go before my doc will induce me. This weekend is my baby shower. I am excited but I feel so overwhelmed. The baby's room is still not set up or even painted! After the party I am going to have dh work on spackling and painting the room. I already have the bassinet so the baby will not really need the room for the first few months (at least to sleep in), but I still want to get it done. I just really haven't been feeling well and it was hard to clean out the room. I finally got it all cleaned out and now dh has to get moving!

Wonderce- Sorry to hear about your scare. Hopefully it is nothing. I also am having a similar experience and trying not to worry about it until my next scan to recheck. I went in for a growth scan to check the babies size and they saw that the tubes leading from the kidney were dilated, but the kidney size was normal. The doctor told me it could be nothing or the baby could have a blockage. I go back on monday to recheck his kidneys. I am hoping they are normal and that it was just an immaturity in the urinary system because unfortunately this is another soft sign for downs. My bloodwork already put me at increased risk for downs and I opted not to have an amnio when my level II scan was normal. I am just praying this is nothing and I made the right decision not to have the amnio!

Kb- glad things are going well for you guys. Contrations feel different for different women. With me I felt a distinct tightening come across my belly they were not painful at first but as they got closer together in time they became much more intense, but I have heard some of my friends say it felt like a menstrual cramp and some only had back pain. Also look out for a blood tinged mucous as that can be a sign that labor is approaching. I had mine the same day I went into labor with my dd but other people had that a few days to a week before. Hope that helps.

Hello Ladies:

I wanted to let evryone know my 3 little angels were born last week at 26 weeks 2 days. I was put in the Hospital 3/31/09 with severe pre eclampsia at 23 weeks 1 day and was so bad they wanteed me to terminate saying I would most likely stroke before the end of the week. I felt fine until 26 weeks 1 day when the headache started and the meds no longer were controling my blood preasure. They could not section me that day since I was on Heprin and they were afrais I would bleed out during delivery.

The girls were 1lb 2 oz, 1lb 8 oz and 1lb 11 oz.

They are doing great, no brain bleeds which is huge for their size and age. They are also coming off their vents and onto C pap in the next day or so. They are also now on .04 cc continuious feed of breast milk.

Their Neonatologists are thrilled that they are doing so well and so fast given their size and age.

I am doing ok, hardest part is coming home without them, but we know they are so well taken care of and it is just a matter of time befroe we will have our hands full taking care of our little angels.

I hope everyone is doing wonderful.

Hi everyone!

Elida - congratulations on your three little girls. I hope you are doing well and I'm so glad to hear that they're doing well. Keep us posted! I'll be anxiously awaiting news of how they are!

I just hit 28 weeks this week and after a pre-term labor scare a week or so ago, things seem to be going okay. I'm sure you all can understand but with each week that passes, and I know she's getting bigger, I can breathe a little bit easier. Just have to make it through 12 more weeks! We did buy the crib and have alot of other odds and ends but aren't setting anything up until June. It's really hard not to just start putting everything together now, though... but we're having my husband's diaper party next month where I'm sure somebody will want to stay in that room, so we're waiting until after that to start assembling.

Lyly - good luck at the follow up appointment! I'm sure everything will be fine but I can only imagine how scary that must be. Let us know how it goes!

Elida- Congrats on the 3 baby girls! That must have been really scary, I pray they are doing well. I know it must be so hard to be home and have them still in the hospital. I was a wreck when I had my daughter and she was jaundice and had to stay in the hospital and I was discharged. That was only for an extra day, so I can only imagine how hard it must be for you. Any estimates on when they will come home yet?

Tigersuz- Hope you don't have any more pre-term labor scares, but with each passing week your baby's chances are very good if she is born early.

As for me, the baby's kidneys are the same (still dilated). I didn't see my regular doc at the follow up and this one told me it is very mild and not to worry so we will see. I have been blowing up like a balloon and my blood pressure is a bit elevated, but I only have traces of protein in my urine so they are just watching me for now. The dr told me to stay off my feet. Ha like that is going to happen. I am on my feet off and on all day at work and they have not pulled me out of work so. Well I will be 33 weeks on Thurs. that leaves me only 5-6 more weeks before he is born. I guess dh really needs to get a move on with the room!

I hope everyone else is doing well.

I forgot to mention to everyone, I placed an order through diapers.com
They take manufacturers coupons and they have pampers on sale right now, cheaper then my local stores. If you put in doddo72 as the referral code, you get 10 dollars off your first order. I got my first package overnight with free shipping.

I know that I am always looking for super deals on baby stuff!!! Just thought I would share this with you!!!

It has been so quiet around here lately, so I hope everyone is doing well.
At my last u/s they told me that the baby's kidneys are normal. Yay! They also said the baby was already 5lbs 12 oz and that was at 33 1/2 weeks. Yikes! The doc told me if I didn't go into labor naturally by 39 weeks he would induce me because I am high risk. I asked him if I could go earlier since the baby is so big already and he said we can talk about going at 38 weeks depending on what happens in the next few weeks.
I am not sure about the rest of you but as the end nears I have been an emotional mess. I cry over every little thing and find myself just super cranky. Any one else feel the same? I was fine the entire pregnancy until now. I hate it.

Doddo- I hope you enjoyed your baby shower today. I am not sure where you live but it was an absolutely beautiful day here in NY so hopefully you had nice weather for your shower and got lots of great gifts.
