Sorry I have been out of touch. I took my 82 year old mum on a cruise and she broke her vertabrae. wheel chair, pain meds on the ship. Docs thought it might be cancer since it's her 3rd break in 3 years. I have been dealing with that and good news came so it's just a very serious bone disease. We are praising God for this news...Just waiting in limbo here for an ED. Not feeling very good on getting pregnant on my own with my last 2 mc's this past year at age 41.

I am really pulling for all of you and hope our happy ending comes soon. I was just asked to lead an infant loss group at my church so not sure what will come of it. lots of praying about it right now. hang in there egg heads. I love you all.

Oh Gigi so sorry to hear about your mom glad it turned out not so serious! Though not the most relaxing way to spend a cruise! Your time will be up before you know it though I know it feels like time is crawling--My RE's office was like oh this is going so quick--and I am like not to me!!

Thanks for everyone's responses regarding my hysteroscopy - as you ladies stated, it turns out I can cycle immediately after. As it stands now I have the procedure 6/13 and start my lupron 6/21 - looking at retrieval/transfer 2nd wk of August - it all worked out. I was very nervous because my donor (sis) is not available for a certain time period - but this will work. It feels so much better having a time frame!

Anyone have experience traveling with the meds? My sis will start monitoring in her home state, then travel up to NJ for retrieval - so she will have to travel with her stims and trigger shot (need to be refridgerated).

gigi - so very sorry to hear about your mum! Do hope she is beginning to feel better. It can be a long road to recovery, but she will get there. My MIL has also fallen 3x with broken bones in the last 2 years, so I know what you are going through. Thinking of you.

JDC - happy to hear all is going to work out with your sister's schedule and that you can both proceed according to plan. About traveling with the meds, I would check with your RE and see what he says. I think she just has to travel with a medical note to make sure there isn't a problem and that all her meds will go through without trouble.

sabi - best of luck with your shot lessons, part 2! It is easy to get discouraged with all the doctor visits and medicines -- just work hard to keep in mind the reason for all of it, to get pregnant and have a healthy baby in your arms. We have all gone through this and are here to support you every step of the way! I am sure if you asked for a more specific timetable, your doctor would supply you with it - so you don't have to feel so in the dark and have some dates to look forward to.


poohgirl - sounds like all is moving along smoothly for you. Soon, soon your transfer date will be just around the corner!! I know, it feels like an eternity away!

carolyn - hope you are beginning to get excited about your cycle! When is your first scan?

kelly - nice to see your new ticker! And thanks for continuing to offer your support and words of wisdom! You are our big success story!

chriss - how are you doing today? Has the tiredness hit you yet?

I am well. My mom is here for a visit and I haven't been on the computer all that much. Went for an appt. last week and she got to see her grandbaby on the big screen, which was really nice for her, and for us.

Just realized I typed 6/13 for my schedule - I meant July (7/13)!

I hope I am not being insensitive to those of you who have not yet had success (even though I know your success is almost upon us!!!!). I apologize in advance if this posting upsets anyone, but I wanted to turn to my support group on this forum and specifically my fellow eggheads!

I heard from my clinic that our egg donor has agreed to donate one more time. It is very exciting and very unusual for someone who has received donor eggs to get the same donor for a second round. I knew that my husband wasn't gung ho on another round - he is happy with the two that we have. Which isn't to say that I am not happy with my two beautiful babies, but I've always thought 3 or 4 would be great. Perhaps I am being too selfish given my circumstances. Anyway, when I told him about it this morning he essentially said 'not now' which means 'not ever'. I guess I am feeling down because I have to let the dream of a bigger family go. I really only would consider another round if we had the same donor so if we pass on her now, I wouldn't decide in a couple of years to try again with another donor.

I know I should be thankful and not look back and I will, but I needed to get that off my chest!

Now on to more positive things... the upcoming cycles! What are the estimated dates for ET for everyone?

Summer, hope you are enjoying your visit with your mom. The first time my mom came to the US she was overjoyed!

JDC, only 6 weeks to go! That time will fly by!

Kelly, are you sure that not now, really means, not ever? Perhaps it would be worth thinking about using your donors eggs + DH sperm and then freezing the embryos to perhaps use later, when the twins are a bit older and the idea of a bigger family won't seem so overwhelming, but welcoming to DH??
Where is your mother from?

Carolyn - thinking of you today and hoping all goes well with your lining scan today!! In a week you will be PUPO! How very exciting!! Will you stay overnight after the transfer? Sending you lots of sticky baby dust and PMA across the channel!!

I had a great week away in the moto thanks girls and yes the weather was fab carolyn...

Kelly i agree with summer i would see if DH is willing to do sample for embies to be frozen for a later date ...seems a good compromise ! good luck talking him around. I can undertand your point of view wanting genetic similarities, but also DH's as you have 2 handfuls of 8mth old littles ones. It would be scary to have 3 (or more) under the age of 2yrs !!!! LOL try talking to him agin babe and see how it goes.

summer you sound as if your still floating on cloud 9 being pregnant x x x How far along are you now ? you dont have a ticker and my memory is rubbish LOL x x

My appointment yesterday went well. Baby weighed in at 200 grams and was moving around like crazy. In 3 weeks, we have the big anatomy scan. We are still set on not finding out the gender, but I have a feeling as the weeks progress, it might be more difficult to keep it a secret, and we are getting very curious!
