1st IVF transfer today wooohoooo!!!!!
OK, so I will admit I am a chronic IVF message board stalker. Well now after having our first IVF transfer today and laying down all day I decided that its time to say hey. Despite a very positive attitude I feel the negative thoughts creeping up now that the waiting game is on. The rest of the cycle is always very exciting and happy for me and I want to stay that way for the next 11 days until our blood test. I am 30 and have been TTC for 14 months.

Hi Stephanie
My IVF procedure starts this Friday i.e. withdrawal of follicles. I expect the transfer of the embryos to hopefully happen by 08 or 10 June 2009. Very nervous. This is my first IVF, but have had 5 failed IUI's. Am 31.
Please keep me updated on your symptoms etc. I wish you the best.

Welcome! I am 32 and am going through my first IVF also and my embryo transfer was on June 1st as well! I am trying to stay positive and wait until June 11th for my pregnancy test. Have you felt different at all? My boobs have been sore for weeks from all the meds, so I can't use that as any indicator for me...I have felt very vague cramps today though...I'll see if I still have them tomorrow. Keep me posted on how you are doing. This is the exciting, hopeful, dreaming stage of the game. We've done everything we possibly can and now it's up to nature to see if the little embies stick:)

Stephanie- welcome...I am glad you decided to finally post. It is nice to lurk, but much more fun to post!
I noticed you are from CT, where in CT if you don't mind me asking. I have met a couple of local people on here, one that actually even went to the same clinic and OB...it is such a small world!
Good luck with this cycle...and try not to let the 2ww get to you...just keep busy and post alot, these ladies here will help you get through it! I am over on the June/july cycle buddies in the IVF section, feel free to join us, and there is also a thread there just for the 2 week waiters.
