No, there is absolutely no way that you can't sneeze out your embryos, please don't worry about that, and being run down and suseptible to bugs can be a sign of pregnancy so try not to worry.
Good luck.

I've just had my 5th failed IVF try so know far too much about this whole process.

Hello- introduction ...

Post by angelaezra »

Hello everyone,

It has taken me four months to even get the nerve to look at posts on this site since I lost my daughter Ashley in February at 20 weeks. My DH and I have been through so much over our nine year marriage that I just don’t know how much more I can take. Well, I finally was able to have my FET transfer on 5/29 so now it is the long dreaded wait until next Monday 6/8 for my pregnancy test. I have debated posting for several days but I remember how supportive this web site was when I went through my first IVF last October.

I have been experiencing some pregnancy symptoms so far, such as nausea and lightheadedness. The good thing about this FET is that I did not have to use the HCG trigger shot this time so my symptoms are my symptoms and not the medication! Actually, it started the day after the transfer (Saturday). During my last transfer last year, I actually felt the embryo attaching to the uterus wall. And I think I felt it this time or maybe it is wishful thinking. This is the first time I have used the progesterone and oil shots and my body is not tolerating it very well. Last time, I used the vaginal suppositories solely and now I am using the combination. Normally, the vaginal and oral cause severe constipation but this time I think the oil is causing diarrhea. Has anyone out there experienced similar side effects to the progesterone and oil shots?

Well, I want to wish everyone out there good luck and thanks for listening …!

Hi all,

I had my progesterone blood test today. It was 80. I'm 7dpt. My doc said it was good, but I haven't a clue. I've been exhausted and slightly nauseous. Doc says it's from my progesterone, but who knows? I'm thinking of taking a HPT on Wednesday (9 dpt). Is that too soon?

Hi all, I have been told by my doc not to sneeze, cough, laugh, lift anything or do anything that uses the abdominal muscles as I have cervical incompetence, and in my last ivf attempt I sneezed and actually felt a slightly blood tinged discharge coming out...(sorry, TMI)...but I'm sure tht's not the case for everyone...but it's sooo hard for me, worrying about my every move. My beta test is on 7/6. I am worried as I do not have any symptoms. This morning I've been very down and depressed as I thought that hyperstimulation symptoms will return if pregnancy occurs and I feel they r settling down. Maybe I'm thinking too much...have to keep my mind bz...Wish everyone lots of baby dust!!

Sara73,

You have to stay positive ...! Remember the more you think negative the more stress you re putting on yourself. I am one to talk as I have similar thoughts but it is easier to give advice :) ! Remember, we are all in this together and we will get through it togehter. Keep posting, the commuication helps us that are still in limbo waiting for our betas.

Hello CT_Michele,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome back. This is the first time I had the nerve to even look at this site but I need the encouragement. It has been a very long road for us and very challenging.

I just completed a singe 6 day blast transfer (FET) on 5/29. I really hope that is works for me. I am taking a different approach this time around as I have not told too many people that we were even trying again. I could not stand explaining to everyone how we lost our baby once again.

Thanks again,

Angela

Hello all, how's it going? Angela....u r a very brave woman dear, after all that u've gone thru...I'm sure that u will get something really wonderful thats awaiting u. I had a 12 week miscarraige before my son was born....I had concieved naturally but the loss and heartbreak was too much...only the one going thru it can realize, but then after a few months I concieved again naturally and God blessed us with a wonderful son...so keep faith that something wonderful is in store for u....and it's better not to tell anyone about ur ivf procedure...I haven't either.

Eve, I agree with acornmom that its implantation spotting, many women get it...I am 3 days from my beta test and not doing any HPTs....just keeping myself bz with good thuoghts....best of luck to all.
