Dixie-chop- awesome they are able to do U/S early!

Neffi- my true U/S is on Thursday too, I can't wait- even though we had the very early one last week, I am trying to focus on Thursday's b/c that is the usualtime for the u/s to be more accurate. BTW- I can't imagine trying to sell and move during this- don't over do it- good luck!

cvargas76- heartbeats! and a possible #3?! I know you are thankful. best of luck!

mom2luke- how many wks when realeased to OB? my RE releases @ 7wks, it seems early compared to some. should I be concerned?

All other ladies- Have a great Tuesday! hope everyone is feeling ok today. Keep us posted on U/S's!

faith77--i was released because i was self pay and the RE was financially breaking us so i begged to be released. they said they would because everything looked good and they saw 2 strong heartbeats. and really, if something bad happens nobody can stop it anyways RE or OB. so i would prefer to go to my OB where its covered under insurance and hope for the best. i would think of it as a good thing to be released

dixie chop--glad they can do u/s early. can't wait to hear results!!

cvargas76--congrats on the heartbeats. i could not imagine having triplets but hope for you they can find the third one. maybe that third baby is just being a stinker!!

mb1981--i want to be added to the chart. not sure what info exactly you want. this will be babies number 2 and 3. i have a 15month old son. EDD is january 15. twins, i am 7 weeks 4 days

AFM--just hanging in there. i am so incredibly tired all the time. i forgot how much i hate the first trimester. but will gladly do it to get the little ones here. has anyone heard of not eating MSG? i don't remember being concerned with luke but hubby and MIL are freaking i don't eat it this time. not sure why??

mom2luke - I have never heard that! I should look into it though b/c I love chinese food. let me know what you find out.

amfmbaby - oh, i am sure grandma would love that... she did show up "unexpectedly" to me egg retrieval. LOL. I am sure i will invite her to a later U/S. But I am so happy that my DH will be here to share the first one with me.

faith77 - My RE nurse says they send people over at 7/8wks. But my OB doesn't do your first pregnancy visit till 8-10wks.

mom2luke- not sure about the MSG, but I do know that PFChang's does not use MSG. It is printed on their menus. Don't know if you have near you- hope this helps!

Hi Girls,

Thanks for all your advise re. scans ..I was nervous about doing it transvaginally but was feeling better when I heared that all of you had it this way...

I had my scan yesterday and we have one baby.We saw the heartbeat clearly and we were very excited..DH was hoping for 2 but we are very happy with what we have ..I have now taken time off and resting..

It is so exciting... the next scan is on the 18th of June.

Dixie, have you had your US yet ?

Hope all of you are doing well ...Do any of you suffer from insomnia yet ? I hear that it is better to sleep on the left side ..Have any of you heard about this...? I am sleeping mostly on my back now...

Hi everyone,

Sita - congrads on the baby i am sure you are really excited. get all the rest you can. as for sleeping i am getting up every 1 - 2 hours during the night to go to the restroom. The only postition i am able to sleep in is my back also.

Dixie - glad the DH is able to go with you. My DH goes to all of them with me which is great.

As for me i am staying sick forget "morning sickness". My DH reminded me that it will go away soon. I sure hope so, all i want to do is stay in bed and relax , but i have to go to work. I am an accountant so it is all desk work for the most part. Any body else staying sick?

well ladies quick update I hurt my back so I thought called doctors office they said go to ER I came home with kidney infection but baby is doing great we heard and seen HB 106bpm

I was given antibiotics and sent on my merry way I have follow up appt tomorrow and will be home today resting. Has anyone seen different measurements on ultrasounds I'm not sure if its because the hospital has high tech equipment but according to them I am measuring 5wks 5 days so 3 day difference could this be why we didn't see heartbeat at last appt My doctor said not to worry but how can I worry I am too excited I have a little life ticking away inside of me something DH and I thought would never happen Thank GOD!

amfmbaby - glad you are doing ok. Take it easy. When i went to the doctor the babies measured 6wks2days and 6wks1day, but the estamated was suppose to be 6wks 5days. So I am the same way. I would not worry. I think that it is just late implantation. Really happy that you where able to hear the HB that is great. Relax and take care of your self.

amfmbaby-- I'm glad to hear you are okay! Take it easy! I think it is very common to be off a couple days on the u/s...don't worry about it. I laughed when I saw your ticker! It is the exact same as mine when I had Jack. I picked the snowflakes becasue I was due in the winter and the pacifier becasue everyone has a baby! You must have good taste! HAHA.

Sita - Congratulations! Being able to finally see the baby in there is definitely an exciting moment.

CVargas - I call it "all day sickness", and yes I have it, real bad. It started at about 6 weeks and isn't lettting up. I've heard that after the first trimester it get's better, so let's hope for that!

AFM - I had my second u/s yesterday and the babies look great, they have grown so much in 11 days. We could actually see their heads, bodies, little leg/arm buds, it was too cute. I have another u/s next Thursday and if everything still looks great, then my RE will release me and I can stop all the meds (I will be almost 10 weeks). I'm very excited!

Lisamarie - that is so exciting. I cant wait to get to that point. i am so tired of all the meds and the shots are really tiring. I go back on Monday i dont even know when they will release me. Have you found anything that helps with the "all day sickness"?

CVargas - I have been eating smaller meals, more often (I'm constantly starving!), and pretty much just whatever sounds good to me at that moment. What sucks is that I will eat, and then feel sick to my stomach afterwards as well. I've also tried sour candies, 7-Up, Gingerale, saltine crackers and pretzels. It's so weird because things that I used to love to eat/drink, I can't stand and stuff that I didn't used to eat, I am craving, it is so crazy. My RE said that because I am carrying twins, my upset stomach and fatigue will be much worse than normal, so I would imagine that would be the same for you. Especially if you have 3 in there, it will probably get worse (sorry). We just have to hang in there!

i feel like i am starving all the time also but then when i eat i get sick at my stomach also. When i first get up in the morning i think "yes" i am not sick at my stomach then within about 30 minutes are so the sickness is back. Nothing is sounding good any more to me. Last night i had DH make me soup and a grilled chesse sandwich and just layed down all night. I know the good thing is that the doctor says it is a good thing that i am sick that it is a good sign. When i had the m/c in 2007 at 7wks i was never sick so i guess it is a good thing.

Hey Ladies!! The stranger is back LOL. It took us 2 days to get to Oklahoma and 3 days to get back. By the time we arrived in OK my feet looked like sausages so HEADS UP...the swelling starts already.

I have been spotting (brown) a tiny bit for about a week and a half off an on but nothing red and no cramping. Everyone that I have asked (Dr., family, friends, etc.) says it's fine and normal so I am ok with it. Called OB to get an appointment and I won't have first visit until 6/25 which seems forever away. I did hear the heartbeat on the fetal doppler hubby bought me for mother's day. It's really cool. That's the best investment EVER!! Whenever I get bored I go up to my room turn off all the noises and listen. Soooo peaceful!!

Welcome to all the new mommies. Sounds like we are loaded with twins. That's so cool. Hope everyone's having a great day!!

Sita - ultrasound isn't until next tuesday. at least the week is going by quick for me.

cvargas76- I wish my DH could go to them all. He works in africa so he is away alot. Any appt he can make it to is a treat! I am sure as time goes on, and I get more pregnant, it be harder to go to those appts alone. I have a backup friend to come if I need.

amfmbaby - so glad you got to hear the heartbeat, so cool!

tiffichels - that is really neat. i didn't know you could purchase them. are they pricey? where did he get it?

nothing new with me...still no morning sickness (knock on wood), just eating like a maniac
