For those who are down....

Post by Love Bug »

Infertility sucks! We all know that all too well! This is for the ladies who have thought about giving up, DON’T! I have spent what seems like a lifetime watching friends and family get pregnant, while I got BFN after BFN. Even being on this board was hard. People I started with have had babies and are TTC #2! My best friend had her DD on IVF #1, and then had b/g twins from her FET all while I was still getting BFN's. It was so hard, but I loved her and I was SO happy for her, but it still hurt.

Well, three rounds of Clomid, 4 fresh IVF’s, 2 surgeries, and many, many teary nights later, I finally got my BFP. I know I have a long way to go, but I am so grateful for even that! I was not going to do this round because after three tries, I just couldn’t even think about doing it again, but for some reason (I really don’t know why) I tried one more time.

Give your DH and your DP an extra kiss tonight because they have been going through just as much as we all have! Good Luck! And don’t give up!!!

Congratulations LoveBug. I cannot imagine the strength that you needed to continue despite the heartbreak from previous BFNs. I do not know If I would be able to do it myself. Congrats again and hopefully I'll be able to join you soon in the Feb Mommies 2010 thread.

Love Bug,

Congratulations!!!!!!!!! I was reading a religious book yesterday, and a section spoke on infertility, and it says, that God's own time is the best. Sometimes he closes a womb, for a purpose, and opens it when it is time for him to use the individual to bring into this world his chosen one.

The book further tells women going through infertility to look up to God, as she is blessed to be used at God's appointed time, so all we need to do is wait, for our miracles.

Congratulations, may you sail through your pregnancy, successfully, you deserve it.
