hazel - It's nice to see you again! It's possible we'll be close together, so I'll let you know when I finally get some dates from the clinic.

ct_michele - Unfortunately, it's all out of pocket for us, but we decided that this time we'd rather pay more for a fresh try. We figure even if the FET worked, we would do it one more time to try for a brother or sister, so we may as well do it now while my eggs are younger. Hopefully this will work, but if not, we will do probably do FET the next cycle.

sarah - good to see you and I second Hazel's remark that I wish we were on the pregnant after treatment boards. hopefully that will be us soon!

Everyone else - hope your week is going well!

Rosario - Starting us off wonderfully!! Congrats on the BFP and the frosties! YEAH!

katie99 - Welcome! Good luck with your stims!

EYCI - Congrats on the thawed embryos! Good luck today!

statsgoddess - Sorry to hear about the chemical. It seems like sometimes they never have answers for us. But look on the brightside, you're doing a fresh cycle and you have frosties! And I think these are the only times we look forward to AF so we can get started on our cycles! Good Luck!

sbr - Good question. And I wonder how that works if you have frozen blasts too. That's what I am using now. Would they be 7 days old then when they're transfered? Let me know what you hear about this - if it's not answered on this thread.

Hugs and Prayers to everyone![/b]

Hey everyone. So I feel really overwhelmed in trying to catch up. Vacation was really nice and relaxing. Of course didn't want to come back but have to get back to work. AF is here and I started estrace on Monday. This is part of my estrogen priming part of my protocol. I will then start Provera on June 12. I should be starting stims around June 26, I go for a consult with my nurse on June 17th so should get my calender then. YEY!!!

Michelle
- you are doing an excellent job on keeping up with everyone. I have done the calender on other boards and know how hard it can be.

sbr - I would consider your FET as a 5dt because our embies will be 5 days old at the time of your transfer and should be blasts by then.

Rosario - congrats on your frozen babies. How is the 2ww going? I am happy to see a positive HPT. Hope those 2 lines stay there this time.

statsgoddess - Glad to see that you now have a plan. Things go by much quicker when you have dates and know what is going on.

EYCI - GL on your transfer. I guess you are the next inline after Rosario to get your BFP.

Welcome to all the new gals. GL to everyone. I will try and catch up more later.

Ok all... I have been testing pretty much since i have been 3dp5dt and the line is not getting lighter which is a pretty good sign. I would like to see if they would be able to push my beta up to this Friday but I don't know if I will even ask. I still think what I am seeing is a little of the trigger but the line would fade a little right? Ahhh I just don't know what to think anymore. I will post a picture up of the test and you guys tell me what you think.

Update--

The IVF nurses at Walter Reed called me today w/ my tentative schedule for July! I'll go in on July 3 for my baseline scan/ultrasound and to pick up all my meds. My tentative retrieval date is set for July 17 with a tentative transfer date of July 20! I'm really excited now and am starting to TRY to channel my positive thoughts and energy. I hope this month goes fast b/c I am so anxious and pray to the baby making goddess that it REALLY works this time!

Rosario - STEP AWAY FROM THE PEE STICKS. you are going to drive yourself insane.  Wait a couple of days, if they are still positive then, you know if it is for real. so you are 8dp5dt now? I would think that is a true positive. CONGRATS your are KNOCKED UP!!! I would see if they would do your beta on Friday. Tell they that you are getting a positive on the pee sticks. It really wouldn't be that early because most places do the betas 9dp5dt. GOOD LUCK.

rosario- if I calculated right, your trigger shot should have been 12 days ago, so it should be gone. Most triggers are gone by 10 days, with both of my ivf's, they were gone by 6 and 7 days. I would definitely ask to be bumped up, the worst they could say is no, but alot clinics will bump you up if you have had a positive hpt. I know you are still nervous, but it sounds like you got your bfp to me...so congratulations and start celebrating girl!

OK, I finally have a real schedule, so here goes (and sorry if this is so anal--it helps me to see everything I guess?)

6/3 - 6/15: bcps
6/17: u/s and bw
6/19: Start Lupron (take for rest of cycle), Dexamethasone (take for rest of cycle), and Saizen (take for 5 days)
6/21: Begin stims--Menopur and Gonal F
6/25-7/1: daily (most likely) u/s and bw
7/2: Tentative retrieval date!, then wait 6 weeks while they do chromosomal testing, meaning Transfer sometime in August!

Hope this protocol makes more sens eto you guys than to me at this point. All I know is I'm in "point-and-swallow" and "point-and-shoot" mode--whatever it says, I'm doing it!

Here's hoping the side effects take a hike!

Best to you all!

New here

Hello,
My name is Amy and i'm starting my first IVF cycle this month. I've been feeling very anxious and overwhelmed and then i found this board. I know how much it means to have support of people who actually know what you are going through. So i look forward to sharing with you all.

My story:
I'm 38 and DH is 39. We have been married for almost 10 years (our 10 year anniversary is next week). We tried for almost 3 years for our son. We tried multiple Clomid/IUI cycles with no luck (with the OB). We got as far as an initial consult with the RE and we got pregnant naturally that same month. Our son was born in Nov 2004. Now we've been trying for almost 3 years again for our second with no luck. We've been seeing an RE since Oct last year. We were due to start Inj/IUI in Nov when we got pregnant on our own yet again. I stayed in the RE's care during this pregnancy. The pregnancy, however, was not viable. We were waiting to miscarry and i had to hospitalized with severe pains. It turned out that i had an additional embryo growing in one of my tubes and that had burst. That was a scary experience. This situation is so rare (1 in 30,000-40,000) pregancies that no one suspected that this could happen. My RE was shocked since we were not on any meds and she never expected me to ovulate 2 eggs and get pregnant with both. Anyway, i lost my right tube as a result. At that point we decided to move forward with IVF, since my chances with IUI would be slim (and i didn't want to risk another ectopic). But we were advised to wait 3 months after my surgery. Last month, i did my day 2 blood test to being the cycle. My FSH came back higher than the RE wanted. This was strange because my FSH has never been that high and i've had multiple day 2 tests. Anyway, the cycle was pushed back and the doctor has started me on Estrace (estrogen) in preparation for the next cycle. I'm hoping to start AF middle of next week and start stims by the end of the week.
Sorry this is so long but it was almost theraputic writing it all down.
thanks for reading and i look forward to getting to know you.

My clinic said no to bumping me up to Friday... but i did a beta here at work and should know tomorrow. HPTs are my friends... I am addicted I really am!!!! Clinic thinks its still the trigger in my system which I had 12 days ago.

to_have_fun08 I am only 5dp5dt and by the time i have my beta at the clinic it will be 10dp5dt.

Hi everybody -

I am new to the board and the whole IVF process.

DH and I have been together for going on 11 years and married going on 4 years. We have been TTC for 3 years and have been diagnosed with un-explained infertility. I have had 2 m/c (got pregnant naturally on both) and 2 failed medicated IUI's. I just moved to NC and met with my new RE last week. She suggested we move on to IVF and we agreed. We have our Education Class next week and should go through with IVF either at the end of this month or early July.

I would like to join you all for support!

Thank You - Poontater

HELLO LADIES!

I am officially PUPO!!!!!!! Woohoo! Let the 2ww begin! Both embryos doubled their cell counts overnight, and were at 8 cells this morning. Both were grade B. Everything went perfectly at the transfer. When all was done, the RE and nurse left the room and I turned to my husband and asked "was it good for you"? We both had a little giggle. My beta is June 17th.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hugs to all!
