So i think it might just be the trigger... My beta was 25 yesterday at 5dp5dt (10dpo). I am going to pee on that damn stick in about 15 min and see whats going on because I didn't test this morning. I think i am going crazy!!!!

katie99 - So glad you're getting the info you need. My clinic is the same way. I still, to this day, do not know what quality my frozen embryos are. They just say, "they're excellent." That doesn't help.

nicksgam - Congrats on the embies! And GL with the ET!

Rosario - Those sticks are kicking your butt! Monday's not too far away - hang in for the beta. Or when can you get the results of the one you did? The pee sticks scare me with false positives and false negatives. But if the line hasn't lightened - that's a good sign. Sounds like a BFP to me!

to_have_fun08 - Sorry to hear about your insurance. But a BFP would make it worth it.

I don't have time for a big post right now, but will catch up again later...

Rosario- I just wanted to say I still don't think it is trigger. For my first ivf, at 10dp3dt (13dpo) my beta was only a 44, and I went on to have a beautiful healthy little girl. I think it is very possible for that number, on that day to indicate a pregnancy. I will be praying that is the case for you, but try not to drive yourself too nutty!

Ok, I am off to the clinic for u/s and bw...hopefully I will be talking to RE about the thawing questions I have, an dthen I have to go to tutoring, but I will be back later and will catch up with everyone...more personals.

To all our newbies...first off a big welcome! OK guys so I POAS again shortly after the last post like i said i would and the line is definitely showing up a lot faster and not getting lighter. Ohhhh I might be preggo. Its finally starting to sink in... I am scared out of my mind. Lately I have been having a lot of cramping. Pray for me guys!!!!

I had my u/s this morning. My lining looked good--10 mm. I'm set for my FET next Friday. They switched me to Friday rather than Thursday because of a lot of fresh cycles going next week. I'm fine with that. It gives me one day of summer before the FET! And, my fun superstitiousness is coming out. I got pregnant the first time around on a Friday transfer! The other good thing going for me (more superstitions) is that I'm switching back to PIO shots. My clinic claims there's no statistical difference between PIO shots and the suppositories, so really, they give you a choice. I tried the suppositories with my failed April cycle and I hated them. I'm going back to the shots this time. So, hopefully with those two things I'll be set for my BFP!! I also had my question answered. They'll thaw the embryos on Wednesday and transfer them on Friday. So, they grow two more days making them blasts, I guess. I think all of these things sound good. That also explains why my clinic has equal success rates for fresh and frozen cycles. I'm really excited and having great PMA right now!

Michele, you can confirm my FET for June 12th with my beta on the 24th. Also, what did you find out today??? Will they grow your embies a couple days? Were they annoyed with your questions and/or suggestions?

Rosario, I'm SURE it's a true BFP!!! Just a couple more days til the true beta.

prayinforBFP, this cycle it took 16 days for me to get AF. I was starting to freak out because I was sure it should have come sooner being on the Lupron. Hang in there. I think you're definitely within the norms of waiting times.

tohavefun, I'm sorry your insurance coverage has lapsed. At least you have some coverage. We're slowly sinking into debt because of NO insurance coverage for any of these treatments. We're easily into the $20K range now. If I think too much about it I start to hyperventilate! It's all worth it in the end, though.

julie, how is the 2ww going?

I'm off to bed after a nutso day in the teaching world. I was giving my finals today only to have two stupida$$ boys steal the final and pass it around the school. I simply cannot wait for the school year to end! 3 more days with kids (finals days) and then a grading day. "I think I can...I think I can..."

I still feel bad I have not had time to catch up with everyone, I really wanted to be able to do a big post of personals today, but I just ran out of time.

Sarah- so sorry those rotten kids stole your final. I don't think people realize how mean some kids can be...I have had so much stuff stolen over the years. But I am glad you are almost done for the year. My teacher friends and I have been joking on facebook about doing the "school is almost over" dance. Your lucky though, our schools here still have 3 weeks to go. I will fix your FET to friday and add your beta date.

sunshine- your pretty close to starting...you must be getting excited!

rosario- I really think you can start celebrating...I know it is hard to believe, but I think you are preggo girlie! And how did you give yourself a beta, do you work someplace that can do it??

prayin- so sorry to hear af is still not here. Why does she never show up the one time we want her to come? If you were on vacation in the carribean right now, she would probably be full flow!

to_have_fun- Ghost did answer alot of my questions, and just made me think even more. You should read the thread, it was interesting to see what he had to say. I am so sorry to hear you will lose coverage, I would flip about that...those are the kinda things that make me cry, but at least you still have your own coverage.

tanya- my brother is getting married soon too, actually, a few days after my beta...but I know how busy you must be, I just threw a bridal shower at my house a week ago, and man is that stuff stressful. You're close to starting stims too...woohoo...this thread is about to take off!

nicksgam- is ET tomorrow? Good luck, and lots of sticky dust coming your way!

AFM- I went to clinic today for u/s and bw. They said my ovaries and lining look fine on u/s, I will here blood results tomorrow, but I did start estrogen pills tonight, so I finally moved on the list! Yay!

I did get a few minutes to talk to RE, regarding my concerns about thawing. He told me that the only reason to let them grow to day 5 would be for selection. He said if I had alot, or if this was my last transfer, he would thaw them the night before and pick the best two. But since I have 4, and we are hoping to get two more transfers (hopefully for 2 more babies) then he says 3 day is the way to go. He says his success rates for 3 day are no different from 5 day. He actually said some women he has had there got pregnant with 3 day embryos, and could not get pregnant with blasts. So all I can do is trust him, which I really do. I do believe he has my best interest, and not my money, in his mind. He assured me that they only freeze good quality embies, so he is not concerned.

Oh well, off to bed...I will check in tomorrow. Good night.

Kushka – How are the sims going? They made me very emotional. I have been off them since last Sunday, my bruises are going away, I am feeling more like myself, but I am still bloated.

Sarah – Congrats on you Friday ET and PIO—I believe in superstitions also. 3 more days and no more asinine students to deal with

Michele – Happy that your ovaries and lining are good—you’re moving up the list yeah! Thanks for making the list, I am very goal oriented and it is nice to see the progression of my cycle.

Rosario – Hang in there, Monday is right around the corner.

Julie - Congratulations on transferring two 8 cell embies, sending you lots of sticky vibes!!!

Katie – Glad you found us—this is my first IVF cycle and this board has helped me so much.

morningglory – Happy to hear this cycle is going better than last and I am praying it continues for you.

stay positive – is the genetic testing called PGD? My clinic does PGD on day three, results on day 4, and transfer on day 5. It seems what you are having done is more sophisticate.

sabi – Has reducing Lupron to 5cc helped at all with your headaches and mood swings – hope so. It will all be worth it when you get your BFP!!

prayin4BFP – I doing the AF dance for you.

Chris – Sorry to hear about your DH’s job. Can you use Cobra insurance until after your ER?

sunshine.12 – Yeah almost off BCP, things are moving right along. AF came for me the day after I stopped taking them.

Tanya – Maybe your brother’s wedding is just what the doctor order, you’ll be able to think about and do something else beside IVF. Let loose and have some fun—sims are right around the corner.

WOOOHOOOOO!! Thanks for all the AF wishes....SHE IS HERE!!!! I have never been so happy to see AF in my life!

So my FET is scheduled for June 26th. I start Estrace tomorrow in addition to the Lupron. Then BW and sono on the 13th and PIO starts on the 21st. HOLY CRAP! It is going to be here before I know it! I am so happy....positively giddy!!

ugh, I am so frustrated!

Just when I thought I had jumped every hurdle and finally would have a cycle with no delays...the clinic calls this morning and says stop the estrace pills because my estrogen was too high yesterday. They said to stay on 10 units of lupron and go for bw again next thursday. I asked if this would delay my transfer and they said it could. They said if my estrogen is low next thursday, maybe I could still transfer the same date we were planning, but from the way they sounded, it doesn't sound likely to me.

It is so sad to move my name back down on the list...I was so excited to finally move up and be almost there!

They said my estrogen was 161...does anyone know anything about estrogen levels, what they mean and why they would delay an FET? I will post to ghost and hopefully find out soon.

Chris - Thank God that you still have some insurance. Hopefully
you will be BFP then you won't care about whats not covered. I learned last year about the tax break for IVF expenses ( save every receipt) DH is happy about message board - think he is tired of talking about IVF ) LOL!

Michele - My RE told me that my estrogen had to be under 120 to go on.

You'll never believe this - but my date got pushed back again. My RE took the day off 6/26. So the next day he will be there to do the transfer is 6/30.

Now my transfer is on 6/30. I have an u/s scheduled 6/23 for a lining check and I start estrace pills 6/11. I have been on Lupron for what seems like forever. And now it's extened. Oh well. I guess things could be worse.
