Greetings Ladies :D

Wow, the board has been very active lately.

Nidhi-I'm sorry for your BFN. Take a deep breath and regroup. Also, have some fun, you deserve it. I did the chinese meds along with acu. I have to say going to the Chinese doctor during that time I could tell I was feeling more energized after each treatment. I feel you have to have an open mind towards these treatments for them to help you. I was always so relaxed after the acu. The tmts were better than a good deep tissue massage. Wish you all the best.

Tammy-my heart goes to you. Hang in there your time will come. I believe Yasmina is wise with her observations. Keep your positive mental attitdude.

Sabi-thinking of you....will be saying a special prayer for you over the next few wweks.

Tracy-Yippee [I'm doing back flips for you] what wonderful news! BFP. I'm so happy for you.

Rhonda-bless your heart...hang in there...you're nearly there...

Yasmina-have a great holiday over in France...Oh how I'd love a change of venue at the moment, the beach is sounding pretty good.

As for me, well I won the gym fitness challenge. Whoot Woo! I have a irish football tournament this weekend to play in here in the ATL. DH and DD will be there to cheer me on. Yes, I believe we are now trying for #2, but the old fashion method [minimal laboratory intervention]. Although we have an insurance change, it's not nearly as good as the old insurance :( hopefully we'll be successfull. I'll keep ya'lls posted. DD continues to thrive and is a joy to interact with....I keep pinching myself....waiting for things to change....

Hi to all I may have missed.

Cheers for now!

Hi everyone,

We had our 1st IVF and got a BFP on 5/31/09
1st beta at 6dpt was 33
2nd beta at 9dpt was 205!
We go on Wed for our U/S

I am trying not to focus on numbers but the 1st was so low and the 2nd is so high..... praying for twins!!

HELLLOoooo ladies:

I have not been on the board for some time. Months actually. I fired my doc here in Alaska, so I am working with a RE in Seattle. They are awesome; they even call me on the weekends in the evenings! What a breath of fresh air.

So I had an 3d ET 3 gradeA embies. The doc is pleased with the quality of the embies and the transfer procedure.

So here I am in my 2ww (of hell)--- the symptoms I feel are very much aligned with all the side effects of PIO 1cc every morning.

I had some cramping the eve of ET not AF like tho. then for the next 3 nights (only) I would get these little pinches/twinges in my ovaries....AF like but not quite, however they only happened whenever I changed positions. I have an incredible headache(s) as if someone is pushing my eyeballs in. I feel bloated after eating, to the point of wanting to puke if I dare to burp it is worse if I lay down after a meal. Some discharge, extremely tired, super crabby, I feel sorry for anyone who aces me out of a parking spot.....my mouth feels like a penny, actually, this sounds weird: but it feels like I have blood in my mouth, you know like when you bite your tongue and it bleeds...yah, that taste. weird huh? Some lightheadedness, and a clogged up head, nothing to blow out of my nose, but clogged and my ears get plugged if i sniffle (which is a symptom I had with all of my natural pregnancies—drove me crazy). There, that is all the symptoms I have, I realize that they may totally be contributed to the PIO shots..and I am trying not to ‘over seek ‘ but this is horrible waiting. My beta is Tuesday, June 9---I refuse to POAS!

Anyone else know what I am talking about? Am I losing my mind----my head hurts.

Hello All: Thanks for the all the well wishes. I am still waiting for AF. I will start the Femara on cycle day 3.

Renee: Good to hear from you. I will probably do a gonal-f (injectibles) with IUI for my next cycle. I just want to do another Femara cycle as it was so easy. You just take a pill for 5 days.

Catharine: Good to hear that you are getting back on the rollercoaster.
Wow!.......you are playing in a football tournament. I am just starting to get back into going to the gym. Andrew has a summer camp at the YMCA 3 days a week (9-10:30). I drop him off and then work out.

Acornmom: Congrats on your BFP! We don't mind if you join us.

Kat: Good to hear from you too! I will keep my fingers crossed for you, but it sounds as if you may be preggo.

Kat - sound promising - PUPO !! Remember you are the one who renamed it the 2WOH. I POAS the morning of the beta (just to prepare for the news - and "confirm" the lab's results). GOOD LUCK tomorrow :D

Tammy - hope the AF arrives soon so you can start again!! I envy your ability to grow the follics without any "lab" intervention!! GOOD LUCK.

acornmom - welocme and keep us posted on the U/S.

Renee - welcome back to the mainland. Sorry you had to leave the beautiful Hawaii, but Seattle should be nice - still on the water!! GOOD LUCK with you next try (I bet it is nice to have DH back home ).

Catharine - glad your having fun with DD. Congrats on your gym fitness challenge and hope you did good in the Irish football tournament.

Rhonda - hope you are feeling better.

Yasmina - have fun on your trip.

To everyone else out there - hope things are going well.

Aloha Renee: I just was in Seattle, they have a great RE place there..PM if you want more info. SOrry to have left the beautiful Islands of HA. I found a beach in Seattle: Alki: it aint no Hawaii beach and the sand is gross...it'll take some getting used to. Glad you're back on the board.

Tracy: GIRL---I am going in sane! this 2WOH is making me crazy So tomorrow is the day. I have resisted the urge to POAS, I swear if I get a BFN I will leave work and go home and ball my eyes out!

My symptoms are weirding me out. The headaches I have are intense! The most ovbious sym I have is the metal/blood taste in my mouth and the extra siliva but it comes and goes. the other syms i have such as sore (.)(.) and the cm are all known side effects of the PIO shots. There are moments where I feel like I have indigestion, but not neasua --it is like I want to burp but am afraid I might puke...like I am really full even when I havent really eaten, sometimes not at all. the lightheadedness is hardly prevelent i still get hot from time to time, like right now. my fingertips feel sweaty on the keys, but that too can be SE of PIO. I am losing my mind here girls.

I hope to report a BFP pray pray pray.

thanks for letting me ramble and kill 5 minutes of my time....only 1,560 more minutes to go! 2 WEEKS OF HELL !!!!

Kat - that is what we are all here for - to go through this rollarcoaster with help !! Don't worry about leaving work - my BFN I thought I was doing good, then after about 2 hrs. I got up and left. My boss totally understood. From what you are saying - I am gettting "vibes" that you are PG (come on - you have to admit some of your symptom can NOT be because of the PIO shots!!). I will keep praying and sending Baby Dust to the NW (some for you too Renee).

Remember PMA, PMA, PMA, PMA !!

Tracy, take care and all the best for 6/16. I'm sure everything will be fine.

Hi Kat, crossing all the fingers for you!

Yasmina, have a great time in France. If you have any problem with any French word, ask here, I'm sure someone will be able to help you! Have fun.

Hi Tammy, lets look forward for the next round.

Hello to Rhonda, Catharinei, Sabi; and anyone I missed.

I really wanted to thank everyone on this board. After reading the threads here I felt so much better. When I started my IVF journey, two things were killing me: first, its just me; and second, I have no hope. Once I started reading the threads I realised I was not right. Here I found many people are going through the same and finishing the race with a big smile. Although I have a BFN this time, I managed to take it easy. I must Thank you all for sharing your experiences!!

Nidhi - I know having a BFN sucks big time. But, when you are ready to do another cycle you can join a cycling group in the IVF section of this board (and of course keep us oldies up to date on your progress). There are a lot of knowledgeable people that can answer questions, be there for your rant and raving, comfort you, and of course celebrate with you.
This is more then a board - it is a home!!
