Embryo adoption experience anyone?

Post by nicaliw »

Just wondering if anyone has experience with adopting donor embryos and has any advice to offer?

1st child conceived no treatment. Second baby frosty from own IVF with our own sperm and eggs. We're now thinking about adopting embryos for another baby in a year or 2 and have lots of questions on my mind like where people recommend going for info? how much it costs? Did it go smoothly for you? Does the tax deduction for adoption apply if it is an embryo vs a born child? (That answer is not influential to our decision, just curious)......all other advice is appreciated, thanks.

Hi nicaliw..I know you must be desperate for an answer. I have no info on this topic. Please do also check out the other forum under ' Egg and embryo donation'. All the best...
