22 week scan today, sweet, sweet, sweet

Post by phil »

hi all,

i just wanted to post an update on our 22 wk scan today. i'm feeling really gushie. the baby is doing well, everything that could be checked was and is normal. we could clearly see the tiny face and limbs, and the feet were so sweet. baby had it's hand covering the face most of the time, it was like he/she was trying to say "not you lot again". anyway it was a really lovely experience.

the next official scan is wk 32 (but i'm having one in two wks at the hospital we've just been accepted by). 32 wks, just 8 wks before the baby arrives... is time flying by now or what!

hope everyone is doing well.

phil x

ps, Tracey i went on a shopping trip at the weekend and came back with clothes for me instead. sis in law arrives next w/e so some serious shopping will take place. lol.

Hi Phil,

Just want to say how pleased I am that the scan went well, its just so amazing to see your little baby on the screen isn't it? It won't be long now and you will be holding him/her in your arms. I still look back and can't believe where the time goes and I can say it still goes so quick when they are born.

Love
Shell.

hi, thanks alisonn, dagny, tracey, juliana and shell for your messages, it's lovely to hear from you all.

tracey we don't know the sex but think it might be a boy, although i've dreamt lately that we have a girl. so all neutral colours for the time being ( if i ever get around to buying before the birth - only joking). tracey the butt was one of the better ones.....

juliana, when is your 12wk scan?

my edd is july 27th, a summer baby. might be c section so then would be earlier by a couple of weeks. i see the consultant in a couple of weeks time so i'll know more then.

lol to you all

Hi Phil

Glad to hear your scan went great, it is so great to see them on the screen. Good for you buying clothes for yourself as i keep getting reminded after the baby is born you'll get nothing.
People say i am going to have a boy we are thinking on finding out on Friday but i don't know yet would like the surprise but it would help to get a bit more prepared.

Take care
