Hey everyone;
Sorry I have been MIA but nothing much is going on here on the Lupron front. Still taking Lupron and Estrace. Going in for BW and sono tomorrow. Other than that I had to rush DH to the hospital the other night and he had emergency appendectomy. He is coming home today and I hope he will rest. He is a workaholic and honestly i wish they would keep him 1 more day. SIGH. I promise to do personals later...so much has been going on!

OMG Rosario! That's so exciting...TRIPLETS!!!! I hope you're able to relax a bit after seeing the gestation sacs on the u/s. Let your DH deal with all the stressful car crap, and you relax!!!

AFM, I had my transfer this morning. It went well. I was able to talk directly to the embryologist. I got the REAL lowdown on my embies. They thawed fine and I transferred two good embryos. He said that one was a 4 cell and the other was a 7 cell. I got confirmation on how many days these suckers are. In 2006 the froze them on day 1; they thawed them on Wednesday and they grew to about a day 3 (today). He said they're actually about a 2.5 day transfer. Since 2006, my clinic is now doing 2 day transfers rather than 3 days. He said they looked great for the age of the embryos. Of course, I've done a bit of internet research and those number look consistent with "good" embryos. I've found over the years that my clinic is not real big on giving specifics on anything as to not let you stress and panic!

I am still baffled at the reason, then, that my clinic has the same fresh results as they do frozen. Who knows....I'll take it. And as my doctor says, we know this is a good "batch" because I have my son from this batch!!! PMA! I'm resting pretty seriously today and tomorrow. We'll go pick up my son from G & Gs on Sunday. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the pampering from my husband.

BTW, I brought my PIO shot to the hospital this morning because I wanted the nurse to watch my husband give it to me. I've been having a hell of a lot of pain and bruising with them--much different than my gig with them in 06. One, we were giving them a bit low, two, I don't think my ass ever recovered from the 10 weeks of shots I got with my son. Three, the dosage is double what it was with my fresh cycle, so I think the combo of all three of those things is adding to the sore butt!!! No more whining about it. At least he's doing it right....

Baby dust to all!

Holy Moly Rosario! That was completely unexpected....gosh...these beta numbers really can be deceiving. A few weeks ago, a girl on these boards had the highest beta I had seen and was convinced she was having triplets, but she is having a singleton. Your numbers to me looked like one, with a chance of two. Wowwee...how do you feel about it? Did you tell your clinic? That is crazy, and I know it is still early, but a huge congratulations to you and dh.

Sarah- Congrats on a smooth transfer. I am sending loads of sticky dust your way. I have a feeling this will be your time this time. Try to relax and get some rest, I moved you to the dreaded 2ww on the list, looks like you and carolyn have the same beta. The 24th was supposed to be my transfer day before all my delays, so I hope it can be a lucky day for someone.

Katie- have you gone for any u/s? How many follies and when do they think ER will be?

Praying-Wow, another holy moly to you...I hope dh is feeling better.

mikeandjess- glad to hear you are making progress and started your estrace (I moved you on the list too). I have no idea why the high estrogen numbers for me. I found a chart last night that shows normal estrogen levels during a regular monthly cycle, and yesterday I was day 12, which is exactly when your estrogen surges right before ovulation, so I hope all of this is just because the lupron needed longer to work. I guess I will just continue to wait.

ck121- welcome to the boards. Your dose sounds fine, it can really range. My last cycle I started with 375 of follistim mixed with 75 of menopur. Your RE will adjust accordingly.

sunshine, wishful, nickgam- thank you all for your kind words about my delay. I guess I will be able to party at the wedding now and just have a good time.

I will check in again soon, I hope everyone has a nice weekend!

Hi

rosario -- OMG!!! TRIPLETS!!! CONGRATS x3!!!

michele - u/s & b/w start every other day on tues. I will be bugging the RE for exact follie numbers whether he likes it or not. They have me slotted to go first (8 ladies in this IVF group) for ER on 6/23 as long as all the numbers are right. I'm still spotting though on day 2 of stimming. I hope thats ok. Thanks again for keeping this thread together. You busy woman! have a great weekend!

Hi Ladies,

Lordee lord Rosario! HUGE congratulations to you.

It's late here and I'm v tired so this is just a quickie from me. I just wanted to let you know the latest - I had u/s today and I have about 13 follicles. RE reckons we'll get 10 or so eggs. I'm taking a shot of Ovitrelle in 20 mins and then I'M DONE with injections - YAY! I have my ER confirmed for Sunday. Just picked up a HUGE box of medicine this afternoon. I thought that when the ER happened, that was it for meds. WRONG!

Happy and positive thoughts to all of you. Speak soon....

OK everyone---

I guess I have been thinking too much about this whole IVF thing lately. I just went to pay my AT&T bill for my iPhone. Instead of making the check out to "AT&T Mobility," I accidentally wrote "AT&T Motility"!

LOL!!!!

Ladies -
Last night at my house was comedy of errors. DS is potty training and pooped in his underwear. I managed to get him out of that, only to have the toilet plug and overflow, and as I'm cleaning that up, he went and pooped in the bedroom on the carpet (I was too distracted with the overflowing toilet to get undies back on him.) I get that cleaned up and thought, well might as well POAS (11dpo) and get that negative experience over too. Well, the digital came back "pregnant" and the regular came back with a faint positive line. I'm still in shock, but for now I'm pretty sure that yep, I'm pregnant! Called the clinic but they'd only move my beta up one day to Tuesday. So still a few days til the official word. No signs or symptoms other than I can actually feel my heart pounding "down there" which is really weird. This seems surreal. I was so sure it hadn't worked. I could barely sleep last night I was so excited :)

I'm thinking of all of you... A quick congrats (X3) to Rosario! Congrats to Sarah for being PUPO! And, Sabi hope it all went well today with your donor!

Julie: GREAT NEWS! I'm so excited for you. I hope I follow suit. Are stories are so similar, we both have to have success!!! I can totally appreciate the potty story too. That's on the "to do" list this summer!!!

Sabi: Sounds like the donor's retrieval went well. Looking forward to hearing the fert report.

I've been resting/sleeping all day....
