Did I just see that you moved your ultrasound back to 6 wks and some days? If so, I have good news for you. My ultrasound was originally scheduled for this Friday ( at 7 wks), but over the weekend I had some bright red bleeding and my clinic moved my ultrasound up to Monday which put me at 6 wks 4 days....2 babies were seen with two heartbeats. We even got to hear the heartbeats. One rate was 125 and the other 128!
So, I hope you see the same!

Sammycat, thats wonderful news! Congratulations on the two! Yes, I moved my U/S to tomorrow which will put me at 6wks 2 days i believe. I may not see the HB, Im preparing myself for that. But I just cannot wait until 8wks! And Ghost on another thread, brought up a good point. Ghost said that they like to do the initial u/s early to rule out ectopic pregnanies. So I'll go in tomorrow and see what's in store for us!

Eve, did you end up getting a third beta by any chance? I only had two. I know some people get more. Just curious.

London, glad that you dont have too much spotting. Good luck on your U/S. It's this friday?

Good luck ladies! Keep us all posted!

Hi Ladies! I'm crashing your thread :D I'm actually due December 09 w/twins.

Anyway, I saw a few of you discussing bleeding you've been experiencing. London, I had a similar experience at 12 wks 3 days. Woke up to soaked undies and 2 blood clots. All bright red blood. I just KNEW I had miscarried one if not both of my babies. Went to ER and both were fine on the ultrasound. I just had my follow-up appt with my OB on Monday and was officially diagnosed with Subchronic Hematoma. It actually looks like it could have been a 3rd sac but it's an area next to my babies (outside of their placentas) that's just blood. I'm told my body will absorb it or I could have more episodes with the bleeding. The good thing is that it's having no affect on the babies. The docs also told me that bleeding is common with twins. So sounds like the worse it could be is a nuisance.

Just thought I'd share since I know how traumatizing these experiences can be and it makes me feel a little better to know that what I'm experiencing is common.

Take care ladies!

oh thats good to hear. i was going to ask at my U/S tomorrow. Did your nurse say how they will determine when to stop them? I assume based on your progesterone level but then again I have never had mine measured. Hmm, any ideas? Do they want to see you again at the 7-8wk mark?

MSM2be: Thats is kinda funny because when I have had my beta testing(twice) they also tested my progesterone and estradiol as well. So yes, I think they will test your progesterone and go off that. It seems like everyday I have a new question to ask the doctor.

lol, dont get me started! I have a whole list for tomorrow!

I am actually bit worried why they dont test for my progesterone level. For instance, how do they know if the suppositories are sufficient? I know some people take more than one. I asked the nurse, and she didnt give me a clear answer. Argh. I almost wish I could make out one of those lab forms myself and just add progesterone/estradiol. Soon, I guess when I graduate med school.

Hello Ladies!! It's so nice to see all the new girls! Just a few weeks ago there were only three of us :) I can not believe all the twins too!!! YAY!! Congrats!

I have my next u/s tomorrow where we will fins out for sure if we have twins. They thought they saw two last week. I am so really shocked that not everyone has an u/s every week. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. I will have one every week until 12 weeks.

MSM2B: I think you can ask for your progesterone numbers. I am told mine every week with my beta. I cant imagine they are not keeping track of it. Its too important not to!

usmcwife: I am on PIO AND Crinone vag gel. So, I get all the pain of the PIO and all the yuck of the gel! I can not wait to be done with that!!! 8) 8)

London: You are still in my thoughts! I have read a lot of women who bleed a bit and everything turns out fine! :)

Well, again, welcome all the new ladies! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend with no worries!! Enjoy being preggo...we waited long enough, right?
