Gila's back...

Post by GB »

Hi there all and hope that everyone is doing as well as they can be...at whatever stage that you're at...
Sorry for not being such a regular lately, but in truth since my move I really have not been well in the last month or so.
I had a really bad caugh similar to whooping caugh which kept me up a lot and was really diblitating..... Thank Goodness my Mom was out here at the time to see me through the worst of it. I was off work for about 2 weeks trying to recuperate.....thankfully now I am much better, back at work and not caughing as much. I'm just exhausted by the end of the day...but I think I'll soon be working half day.
Thankfully, throughout all this the babies have been doing fine and growing nicely. I'm now just about 30 weeks and they each weigh just over a kilo. I went for a scan this week and Thank G-D, all is fine and good.
Still don't know if it'll be a natural or a ceasarian yet..... or which I prefer!!
At the moment the top baby is facing feet down...which is still ok for a natural birth...but I guess things could change....

Anyway, that's all my news for now.
Just take care of yourselves wherever you are!!
Lotsa Luv
Gila

Hi Gila

Glad to hear you are on the mend and babies are doing great. It sounds horrible having that cough. I hope it is not too long before you are working half days. I am not working and i am tired all of the time and i am only carrying one.

Hi there!
Thanks for all your good wishes and replies....much appreciated.
As you can imagine, it wasn't an easy time to go through...but thankfully much better now .... just the usual tiredness.
Dagny, you really amaze me by still trying to keep up with events on the board, despite what you've gone through. It must be really difficult not only to read about everyone's healthy pregnancy, but to be happy for the people involved. Although I've had a tough winter being ill and all, nothing can match what you, Trace and the others have gone through. So I really commend you and may you be blessed with this positive spirit to be able continue your daily lives ....... and may your dreams be fullfilled soon. You deserve only the best.
Take care all and lotsa luv
Gila.

Hi Gila,
Glad you are sounding like you are a bit better and it's good to hear the babies are well and healthy - it's just you that it's been affecting!

You've not long to go now :D When do you have to decide on how you have them?

Take care

Hey Zoe,
Thanks for your message... you're right, not long to go which is quite scary!!!!
Not sure when to decide by.....probably quite last minute....as things with the babies and their positioning can change which may affect things...so we'll take it as it comes.
Take care and all the best.
Lotsa luv

Hi Gila

It's all the support and care from you and the other girls that has kept me going and I am so touched by it all. Whilst I am still finding it hard to come to terms with I still hope and pray that I will be back on this side one day in the future.

Keeping up with everybody elses pregnancy is a kind of therapy in a strange sort of way. I am just happy to see everyone is progressing well.

Have you settled into your new home well? Have you decorated the babies new nursery?

Take care.

Love Dagny xx

Thanks Tracey

I have just this minute sent you an email.

Gila, Tracey hijacked your thread, not me, but apologies anyway. When Marcus gets the new forum up and running Tracey and I won't butt in to other peoples threads anymore, well maybe not!!!!!
