Hi Ladies, I haven't been on the board for more than a day and I really missed you all!

Thanks for all your kind thoughts and concern about the ET. I had it this morning. I was so terrified but it all went well. First we got to see our two embryos on the screen. They were each 8 cells and are apparently 'top grade'. We've emailed the pics to my mum who cried she was so happy - gulp!

Our RE confirmed that they fertilised by ICSI 'cos as we only had 2 they couldn't take the chance of trying naturally - this is where the French gets annoying 'cos I had thought that they were natural. Still, who cares! Our RE also said he was so amazed that we only had two eggs. Can't understand why as I had so many follies, good blood results etc. He even said they worried that they got my eggs mixed up with the women having ER either side of me (!!!!), neither of whom they were expecting many from and both of whom produced loads! He then reassured us that that DIDN'T happen - whew!

Wishfull and Sbr, I guess I'm joining you in the 2WW. I'm very excited to be here. Just hope the dividing and sticking continues for all of us.

Belle and Sabi - I hope your ETs went well today too and that you're getting to rest.

Daisy, hugely good luck tomorrow and thanks for your prayers and kind words.

JLo, welcome to the board. Our stories are v similar. I've decided that IUI is total bollocks!

TrueBeliever, I'm so sorry to hear your story, but welcome here. I'm so glad that you're going again, and I wish you lots of strength and luck.

And to all the BPFs - way to go ladies! I'm loving your work!

I haven't got a notepad and pen and I just can't remember all the details so sorry to those of you not mentioned. I'm going to read your posts again though once I've sent this and send you all growing, fertilising, diving and sticky vibes!

One final thing - DH went out while I was sleeping today and bought a load of lovely plants and pots for our balcony, and flowers in pots for the bedroom. He's made it really nice for me seeing as i'll be resting up the next few days. Feel v lucky and spoilt.

I don;t know what I am going to do over the next few days not being able to check up and keep up with everyone. The only way I am able to keep up with everyone is because I check in a few times a day, but with traveling this weekend, I already know I am going to come back and be lost!

To all you ladies doing the PIO shots...good for you! My RE has always had me on the crinone gel, and then this time for my first FET he said it was PIO, and I said no way! I am such a baby when it comes to needles, and there is no way I want an intramuscular shot for 12 weeks...so I begged him and he said I would have to do crinone twice a day, of course, that is only if my e2 drops and I can actually get started here.

kushka- congrats on ET...I will move you one the list. I am sending lots of sticky dust your way...now go kick those feet up and relax while those embies snuggle in! (and take advantage of dh spoiling you while you can!)

deft- so glad ER went smooth...9 is awesome, can't wait to hear the fert report.

candice- what a heartwarming story. I have come across a few ladies here who have had family members nice enough to donate eggs...I think that is just wonderful and I do hope this works for you.

katie- swing set is done! Dh built a box to go around it today, and I went to get mulch, of course I thought 12 bags would be enough, but not even close, I might need triple that! I also picked up the infant swing today and Ella used it for the first time tonight. She really liked it. And I did ask RE about upping the lupron, he said that when lupron is already not working and my body is doing it's own thing, it is just a waste of meds and wouldn't work...he knows how impatient I am and says all I can do is wait right now . Ganerelix did sting a bit for me too, but atleast your almost done stimming!

daisy- so nice of you to pray for each of us...and that list is long, it must have taken you a while! Good luck at your ET tomorrow.

vicky and truebeliever- welcome to a wonderful thread...these ladies are awesome and you will like it here, I am sorry I don;t have time to say more, but I will catch up with you soon, and I will add you to our list as soon as I can, maybe tomorrow.

sarah- omg...I would be useless at that time of the morning. If Ella wakes up before 7:30, I usually give her a pacifier and she goes back to sleep...sometimes she needs a diaper change or a small bottle, but she still goes right back to sleep...and so do I! She has always been a good sleeper. When she was first born, some people would call my house at like 8 am, and I would still be sleeping and they couldn't get over it...they said they figured I would be up way earlier than that, I guess I just lucked out. Make sure you let us know how POAS goes.

Oh ladies...I am so going to miss everyone this weekend, I missed everyone today and I just went to run some errands all day! I find myself thinking in my head who is doing what. So I have a few more errands to run tomorrow, and a ton of packing to do. I have to try and fit all the baby stuff we need in my tiny accord so we don;t have to take the SUV. Then we drive on Friday for 8 hours, we will be there saturday and sunday and we will drive the 8 hours home on monday. And then we get to do it all again in 3 more weeks! I am excited to see my brother, but I am not looking forward to the drive. I will definitely be checking on you guys from my bro's computer. Ok, gotta go do what seems like my 1000th lupron shot and go get some sleep! Nighty night all!

Hello all,
My transfer went well today. We transferred 2 so now I am PUPO!! I'm so relieved to be done with everything, now if I can just make it through the dreaded 2ww.

CT_Michele when you get back, please move me up to the 2ww on the list. My beta is on June 29.

I am going to POAS every day, in fact, I started this morning just to see how sensitive the tests were and sure enough it showed a faint positive so it's sensitive enough to detect the HCG trigger shot still in my system. I've never done it every day so it will be interesting to see at what point the trigger will leave my system...I feel like I'm doing some sort of science experiment LOL :D

hello everybody, its been ages since i last posted and this thread is going wonderfully and with such positive energey : )...good luck to everybody on their cycles and congratulations on all those BFP they are so encourging!

I had my ER last wednesday and had 25 eggs and after 2 days got a bad case of OHSS, on sunday i had a 4 day transfer (we transferred 3 embroys 1 good 2 okay) and my OHSS got worse to the point i couldnt walk , breathe , eat drink and was nauseous...on tuesday the doctors drained fluid from my abdomen and i feel so much better as good as no OHSS.

My question is has somebody also suffered from severe OHSS does drainage effect implantation and if i get pregnant when should i expect the symptoms to come back since i feel good now i want the symptoms back (mad eh) cause thats some hope that im pregnant. And one more thing i gained 3kgs due to OHSS and have a BIG belly the drainage didnt effect the belly size and today i see i have gained another 2kgs...i have had no significant change in diet why is my stomach still getting bigger and im not having any pain?

All the help will be appreciated as im very confused and very worried!

Cuppycake, I'm SO SORRY to hear you have OHSS. I had it so severely with my DS in '06 that I was hospitalized for 8 days. It is true that "it comes back" with pregnancy. Mine never went away in fact. It baffles me that my RE transferred me and didn't cancel my transfer, but now looking back, of course I'm glad he didn't because I have my son. I was very sick from the retrieval all they way into a few weeks of pregnancy. Even after having fluids drained often in the hospital, I went home about 20 pounds up looking like I was 5 months pregnant--no exaggeration. I still contend that OHSS was worse than giving birth. Hang in there!

belle- I basically did the same thing with hpt's...looked at them like my own little science experiment. Except I didn't start the day after transfer, I waited I think 2 days after transfer, but continued everyday. With my first ivf, trigger was out of my system by 2dpt, but with my 2nd it took until 4dpt. Good luck with the experiment and make sure you keep us updated.

cuppycake- I am so sorry to here about the ohss. I have never experienced it, but have heard horrible things, and hopefully you don't have it as bad as sarah did. Of course we want you to get a bfp, but we want you to feel good too...so I do hope you get pregnant but without too many symptoms coming back.

Michelle - Have fun and enjoy yourself on your weekend away. When is your next appointment? Glad to see that the swing set is built.

Belle02 - Congrats on your transfer and being PUPO.

Rosario - What's the good news, when is you next u/s?

Candice - Welcome to the board. That is awesome that your cousin is donating. Yes, it sucks that we all just can't conceive on our own and then that insurance pays for everything else but IVF. Good luck with your cycle.

This board is so big, I can't keep up so know that I am thinking of all of you but just can't do personals to all. Sorry, kind of my way of not getting wrapped up in IVF and staying stress free. I feel like a slacker but I think it is the best for me.

AFM - got my calender yesterday. I start Dex on Friday and then have baseline on 4/24. IF baseline is good (keeping my fingers crossed because I have a history of high E2) then I will start .125 ganirlix on 6/26 and then start 450U Follistim a few days later. I go in on 7/7 for my first official u/s. Right now I am once again fighting with my insurance. When I first had the consult with my new RE they said he was not in-network and they wouldn't cover IVF with him, then through some finagling and talking with managers, it was determined he was in-network. Well, I never received a paper stating that I had approval for an IVF cycle so I started asking around this week and come to find out that they are now saying once again that my RE is not in-network. Really no big deal for me I would love to stay with this RE but there is another RE in the same office that I can go to that is in-network so I will just switch to him. I just don't want the stress of trying to figure it all out. I guess once I get the official letter stating I am covered then I will order my meds. I have extra meds from my last cycle so I am not in too much of a hurry.

Hi all, I have not posted in a while but I read about whats going on daily. I am new to the tread but I feel like I know you all and I think about, and pray for you all often. It sounds like lots of positive things are happening and congradulations to all the BFP, I pray for good things. I started Provera last Wednesday and Lupron injections on Monday, and my DH says I enjoy giving myself the injectons way to much, it creeps him out. I am still waiting for AF though, after 3 years of TTC I never thought I would want her to visit so badly :D
Candice81: Welcome, I often wonder why God gave me and my DH this journey also and itis tough esp. for your circumstances, and joining this message board shows me that God wanted all of us to "meet" and come together over an amazing process. I am also glad he invented IVF or at least created the people who did, and he had to pick someone to go through it right?? Anyway welcome again, and best of luck to you.

Hi everyone -

I am so bummed  My cycle was just cancelled. I went today for u/s and as I was afraid of there was only one mature follie 19mm, there were also 2 smaller but too small to ever catch up in time. I guess that I kinda expected this because at the u/s on Tues. I was stunned to only have 1 but figured its still really early and that there would be more today  I hate the the emotional roller coaster of IVF. It is so draining. The funny part was when the RE called me (obviously from his car) and I wouldnt let him off the phone until he promised to make room for me on July's cycle.
I'm pretty easy going, and not pushy usually, but the doc might say different right now. Oh well, alls fair in love & infertility, yes? I hope that I didnt just ruin the PMA of the thread ( I'll be back to normal tomorrow) Just feel a little sad right now. I will cheer myself up with the thought of now I get to cycle with Michele! I dont remember who else is in July off the top of my head, But I'll be with you all now.....

Hugs & Sticky thoughts!!!
