Aloha all . . .

RE just called and said that the three embies we didn't implant at the ET didn't freeze . . .oh well . . .I'm glad we implanted the other 4 on saturday then! DH said, "Don't worry. We'll have twins and won't have to do IVF for a while." He's such a good guy =)

let's see . . . I'm 2 dp the 3dt . . . still feeling crampy, but i guess that's to be expected =)

Update I am still hanging on. Official u/s will be next Monday so we should definitely know if all three embies made it. I have terrible mood swings and everything around me bothers me... MS is not as bad. At night is when it can get the best out of me. I have to run to the bathroom multiple times a day. My bladder is definitely making OT. I am now down to PIO every other day (not sure if I updated you guys with that info). Lets see what else... oh yea breast are very tender. I hit 6wks this weekend and I am very greatful for this. I just want reassurance when I go for my u/s. I think hearing the babies' heartbeats will be priceless!

Hi ladies,

Contrary to how it may appear, I have NOT fallen off the IVF bandwagon, just haven't been able to post in a while. And boy, am I paying the price now! You guys are some typing fools!

wickedwheel: Good luck for your upcoming ER. Sounds like you'll beat me by about a week. Sorry the number of follies wasn't higher, but hopefully you'll get some quality eggs. I'm thinking of you!

sbr: Oh my, I'm so sorry that you're so upset and getting BFN's. Try not to lose the fate quite yet...I promise you I have seen stories on this very forum of ladies who got beta BFP's after hpt BFN's. Give it a few more days and know that we are all rooting for you, definitely.

wishful27: Reading your good news really brought a smile to my face. Like you, I have never seen a positive on a hpt and it just must be sooooo amazing when you finally do. If and when it happens to me, I might have to frame the thing! CONGRATULATIONS to you--this has been a long time coming and you deserve your time. Enjoy and keep us posted with all the details!!!

belle02: 1 more week to go (as I type that I'm hearing the Jeopardy game show music in my head, counting down the minutes). Do something wonderful for yourself during this wait to ease the stress a bit. And think good thoughts! We are all sending good vibes your way.

prayin4BFP: Good luck on Friday! And what gives with DH?! I would have the same reaction you did, absolutely. These DHs need to learn to suck it up through thick and thin.......look at what all we go through!! sheesh! Keep us posted with the details and again, good luck!!!

TrueBeliever: I'll tell AF to get on the stick and arrive at your place soon. What's up with her afterall?!!

katie99: I'm really sorry to read of your canceled cycle. Believe me, if anyone is tired of waiting it's me, so I think I know what you're going through. But on the good side, a new Mastiff??!! I LOVE IT!!!! I am a Newfoundland fanatic (currently have Ella-named after Ella Fitzgerald-who is 125 pounds and the best dog ever). I have always loved big dogs and have admired Mastiffs. Post some pictures pa-lease!!!!!

abogenpohl: I know it's hard to wait, and this is probably the hardest time of all! Do some female pampering to make the wait less painful and tell those pee sticks they better cooperate! :)

to have fun08: Good luck with stims next week. I just started mine a few days ago and so far, all is well so hopefully the same will happen for you. And good luck also with the crazy insurance companies. Fighting them sucks but it could be worse---DH and I have to pay everything ourselves, NO help whatsoever from insurance. So, keep up the fight and hopefully you'll come out the victor!

mikeandjess: Glad to see that you're building up your pee-stick arsenal. Nothing like being prepared! Tell that lining to do its thing for your ET next week. Best of luck to you!

sunshine12: Your ER will be about a week before mine, so good luck and tell us all about it. I'll put the good thought on you as I'm haiving my u/s that day.

CTMichele: It's so cute how everyone misses you so much here! That should make you feel good. I looked at pics of your Ella and she is darling! Keep up the faith with your cycle and we'll look forward to hearing from you soon.

Everyone else I missed: Please forgive me for not doing a personal. You can be guaranteed that I'm keeping ALL of you in my thoughts. We have such good energy around here, it;s really nice to see (read). Keep up the good work gang!

AFM: Well, I have officially LOST MY IVF VIRGINITY!!!  In other words, I am in my first cycle and started all of my meds 4 days ago. Stims started yesterday. Right now I am doing 5 shots each day (eee gads), but I'm happy to report that so far I feel absolutely fine and the shots don't even bother me that much. My DH has been doing them for me, but yesterday I tried my first one myself. It is so psychologically crippling to be aiming a big needle at your own belly...you get all ready to move in for the kill and then end up backing off at the last second, involuntarily! That's what happened to me and I just started laughing. Then I mustered up the courage and poked that puppy in anyway, with success. Wow, I feel so tough now!!

I head to Denver on Wednesday for 7-10 days (alone in a hotel room for most of it--can we say L-O-S-E-R) LOL. Will be doing u/s and b/w every day and hopefully my ER on July 2nd. I can't believe it's finally getting close! Of course, then I get to wait until late August or September for the ET, but oh well! Them's the breaks. It just feels good to be where I'm at right now so I'll take it. Trying to live moment by moment by moment and be content!

I'll keep you updated with the blow-by-blow u/s results (I know, exciting) and will probably get to type more often because, hey, when you're holed up in a hotel by yourself, you suddenly have lots of time to do whatever you want!!

Sending positive thoughts to EVERYONE!!!!! :P

Hey ladies! Lost of posts, as usual..LOL!

mikeandjess and Daisy106 ~ Hail, Hail, to you that do your own PIO shot!! wow, there is NO WAY I could do that..for one I could not turn my body that far around to get a good aim in sight! My DH gives me those, and I thank him each time.. he is so good at it! Plus it makes him all puffy chest that he has done something GOOD! LOL!

cuppycake~ so sorry to hear about your dealing with OHSS.. I havve never had it, knock on wood, but I have heard of its nightmare of it..

wishfull27 ~ a positive HPT! hurray!

prayin4BFP~ I hope your DH looks at in your point of view.. I am sure he will tho..Mine didn't go the last 2x's but that was because of his work, he just couldn't take the time off... but this time won't be a problem. He isn't working!! The economy really is sucking at the moment! GEEZ

to_have_fun ~ I am with ya girly! I have baseline tomorrow!! And I also start Ganirelix Fri. And stims the 30th! Getting excited!!! :D

StayPositive~ TOO FUNNY!! You've lost your virginity to IVF! I can remember my first cycle of feeling really scared about giving the shots to yourself, and then the feeling of being tough about doing it! LOL!! So true!!

Good luck to all of you in your 2ww!! Lost of sticky vibes your way! ((HUGS))

AFM: Well I am done with the BCP and Provera, now awaiting AF to arrive.. but my baseline u/s was moved up to June 23, vs the original june 26th.. and I just stopped to Provera Sunday, PLUS I just has last day of AF! I was suppose to contact when AF began this week, but I am now confused because I told coordinator I was on AF when I started Provera 10 days ago!! She said it was just spotting, but I was sure it was a true AF with clotting.. (sorry if TMI) Do any of you know if you actual clot when spotting?? Is this maybe the lining shedding before AF? (if that makes any since?) I guess I will find out tomo, but geez what's up?? LOL!
I am same cycle with to _have _fun, stims and all..
I have been so so positive on this, but now that I have an appointment tomo I am feeling... overwhelmed??.. guess is how I can describe it. I so won't this so badly ladies... I know you can relate...

SO SO happy for you ladies with BFP's we are gonna keep it going!
(gotta keep it positve ..)

There are so many on here and I am sorry if I don't mention all, but know that I am reading and thinkin about all of you ladies

Hey Ladies,

Wicked - good good luck for your ER today. You're in NZ so, in fact, I guess you've had it by now. Hope all went super-well and you're feeling good. Pls let us know how you got on.

Defto - thanks for the 3dt Vs 5dt info. It actually makes sense to me for the first time. I hope you and your 4 embies are chilling out. And your DH is right - mine is always telling me that we're going to have twins and then we'll be 'back in the race'. He also tells me that if we have more than 2 we'll sell them to pay for the IVF....!!

Chris - Really hope you're winning the fight with your insurance company. We're not covered AT ALL for IVF here. Paying all out of our own pocket for everything!

MikeandJess - hope your ultrasound goes well today and that your lining is looking fabulous!

Sunshine - exciting times .... roll on Thursday and a sooper dooper ER!

Vicky - great that things are getting underway and YAY for starting stimms on Friday. Is this your first IVF cycle?

Wishfull - Yay! Yay! Yay! I'm so happy for you. Keep us posted!!!

Rosario - Great to hear from you and Hurrah for 6 weeks! I bet you can't wait 'till Monday.

Sbr - I'm so sorry about your HPT, but as so many ladies here have said, it could be that it was just too early. My friend POAS 2 days before her beta. The result was negative and she was totally devastated for 2 days. But her beta result confirmed she was preg. She is now 8 months along, and HATES HPTs! Hand on in there and know that we are totally with you.

Katie - how lovely to have a puppy. Great Danes are Gorgeous - they're up there with my favourite dogs. Hope these two become good buddies. Everyone I know who has bought a puppy seems to have fallen preg, so perhaps this bodes well!

Stay Positive - congratulations on popping your IVF cherry! I've just done the same thing. In fact I'm feeling rather like an IVF slut these days ... it's all I think about! You sound v positive and in a great place right now. Go girl!

Debbie - good luck for your apt tomorrow. I know exactly how you feel. Just take it one apt at a time and let us know how you're going....

Cuppycake - you ok?

Belle, Sabi, Daisy - how are my fellow 2WWaiters doing? Hope you're not going as out of your mind as me...

I'm going back to work tomorrow which I think will be quite a good thing. I'll have to think about something other than implanting embryos! One of the things that most worries me if this doesn't work is how I'll manage to take another week off work to do this all again next time. I know that work should be the least of my worries, but I really don't want to tell anyone what's going on and it'll be so hard to lie... Ugh!
I don't feel anything at the moment. Had a few cramps at stuff after the ET but now it's like there's nothing going on. Just hoping and praying that this is deceptive. AAaaaarrrrghghhhh! I need to stop thinking about this....

Still a BFN. I have all but given up hope. My beta is tomorrow morning. I had my bad day and utter breakdown yesterday. Still don't know what we're going to do, but I'm doing a lot better today.

I'll tell you something. I'm a bad omen for these boards. With my last cycle, I believe I was the first BFN after a string of positives. And looks like that will be the case this thread too!

Ok ladies...I'm Back! I do feel very special that I was missed, and I missed you all too! It was so nice to sleep in my own bed last night and it is great to be here typing to you all now...I have been reading over the weekend, but it is going to take me a couple days to catch up on everyone's progress.

I posted the list last night and made the updates I caught, but I am sure there are some I have missed, so please, if you need to be updated or added, just shout me out and tell me what needs changing, it will help me to catch up with everyone.

My trip went well. My future sister in laws bridal shower was nice, except it was during ella's normal nap time so she was a crank with a capital C. Then that night was the bachelorette party, so Ella hung out with dh and all the boys while they played some video games, and I went out by myself for the first time in a very very long time and partied the night away! We went to this 70's style dance club, where a much older group had no inhibitions about acting crazy after a few drinks, so it was the perfect place for the party. Then fathers day, we took dh to a restauraunt up there that has over a 100 beers on tap, ella gave him some childrens books (and mets tickets were in the back of the book) and then my future SIL's mom babysat while me, dh, my bro and fiance went to see the movie the hangover. Ella did much better with the 8 hour drive on the way home, but fussed a lot on the way there, but she did very well with the change of atmosphere and sleeping in the playpen. Now, we think she will do fine in 3 weeks when we do this all again for the wedding.

sarah- I am so sorry for the negative hpts, and I know how you feel about what the most likely outcome at this point, but just know that there have still been success stories including myself. My hpt the day before my beta was negative, and later the day a faint line. So it was not until the afternoon of 13dpo that I even saw the faintest line. I do hope this is the case for you too.

Carolyn- I am soooo happy for you! I knew your time would come, and I know you must be in shock. I can not wait to hear the beta results.

kushka- I think work will take your mind off things, but try not to think about "what if" this doesn't work. Just focus right now and hopefully only good things will happen. When I got pregnant from ivf, I had almost no symptoms, so no worries.

debbie- hope af shows soon, I will do a little dance for you.

staypositive- it definitely makes me feel good that I was missed. It's funny...none of m,y family or friends expressed that they missed me....lol...just my ivf friends! It is good to be back, and thanks for the comment about Ella, I think she is a little darling too! Have a safe trip to denver and definitely keep us updated.

Rosario- I hope you get to see or hear all three hb's on monday...I can't wait to hear the news.

deft- hang in there and I hope this 2ww flies by for you.

sunshine- good luck at ER, I hope you get lots of eggies!

AFM, not much to report. I was hoping af would have come early so I could go in for u/s and bw early, but no luck. So I still have scheduled u/s and bw on thursday whether af shows or not. I really hope my estrogen has dropped so I can get moving. I mean, they do have my money already, now I just need my embryos!

Today is Ella's 9 month checkup (even though she is actually almost 10 months olds). I am excited to get the weight/height check since it has been almost 4 months. I know she has grown so much, but she still seems small to me. She is such a good baby and I know you will all be blessed the same some day, hopefully this month or next month!

Ok, gotta run, lots of unpacking, cleaning, emails. and errands to do! I will catch up again later.

I saw your pics, and what an adorable little bump you got going on! Thanks for thinking of us, and I hope the rest of the march/april ladies will join you all soon...

Want to be a mom - Do and donts - Do try and relax, take everything one step at a time. Don't - Try to over analyze and compare you cycle to all the other gals, it will just drive you batty. Welcome to the board. I won't be too far behind you, I should be starting stims on June 30.

Debi - We are almost there. How did you baseline u/s go? My appt is at 2:40 tomorrow. Originally they weren't going to have me do a baseline u/s which really threw me for a loop. I asked to have one because a lot of times I have had cysts. My old RE would always cycle me with them and I don't want to do that this time.

Sbr - Sorry about your negative. I have never seen a positive HPT so I know how much it really sucks. Still keeping my fingers crossed for you tomorrow. I have heard that sometime FET can be slower then a fresh cycle so maybe you just have a late implanter.

kishka -- Hehe - selling your children to pay for IVF. I also am wanting twins. Just so sick of IVF and don't want to go through this crap again. Sometimes cramping can be good. Could be your embies implanting.

Wishful - hoping for a really good beta # from you tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Good luck to all of you.
