My cycle is a bust too. Although, you look (from your signature) that you've been through the ringer a bit more than me! I think that 7dp3dt is much too early to give up. My beta is tomorrow and I've had three negative HPTs. You're too early to even detect on a HPT, so there's definitely STILL HOPE for you! Don't read into the "side effects." They're all contradictory. I thought I was pregnant because I had all of the side effects. (I've even been pregnant once before and knows what it feels like.) Like we talked about yesterday, those PIO shots really mess with you. PLEASE KEEP THE FAITH! If I can't get my BFP, at least the rest of you need to get one!

Hang in there, it is still early and lots of gals are PG with no symptoms. When is your beta? Wishing you the best of luck.

If you are referring to breast tenderness, that's a side effect of progesterone. If you just had a fresh cycle, you had a bunch of spent follicles making tons of progesterone, far more than needed. As the hCG from the trigger fades, progesterone production declines, and the side effects diminish.

If the cycle succeeds, you could start to have measurable hCG again by today or tomorrow, and this would start to resurrect the spent follicles (they are called corpora lutea) so that they resume progesterone production. But there is always a low point in corpus luteum activity and a low point in progesterone production, regardless of success or failure, and that low point for you would have been the last few days.

You just can't determine pregnancy that way.

Short answer: Don't give up.

I actually had a FET and my breasts were sore and larger the whole time until this morning now their back to normal... should i do a HPT???... could this be a side effect of PIO too?

Bey -
Try not to give up or read too much into symptoms. My sore boobs disappeared around 6dp3dt (FET), I had NO cramping, no anything. I was convinced it hadn't worked. But, alas it did and I got my BFP a week ago. I actually felt alot more "symptoms" with my BFN than with my BFP. The progesterone totally messes with you. Your body has probably adjusted to the medication now that you've been on it for a week or so, and that's why you aren't feeling it anymore.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

If you're in an FET cycle, then breast tenderness has nothing to do with pregnancy. It's all a reaction from your PIO shots.

This is very early for an HPT. Pregnant or not, it would likely come back negative at this point.

Maybe Friday or Saturday? Even then, a negative would not be definitive.

Ghost- So I'm still early in the game then... I guess there's still hope.. I was so depressed when I woke up this morning. Thank you for making me feel better. My BW is on Monday so only 6 more days to wait for my BFP :D :D

I wish there was a definite sign to tell you right away or maybe if you had a crystal ball - haha now that would be WONDERFUL!!!

Don't give up yet. I had bbs tenderness right after the egg transfer, I guess that was due to the HCG shot for triggering the ovulation. It went away during 2ww. I am now 5 week pregnant. My bbs just started to feel tender again. Hang in there and don't give up hope easily. Best luck to you.

Please don't give, I never had sore breast, maybe a little every once and awhile now and then, but nothing really at all. And now I am seven weeks pregnant and still don't have sore breast. My only symptom is nausea and thats started just last week. Up until then nothing but just kinda bloated, lots of women don't have any symptoms, its really too early and I honestly think its in our heads sometimes because we want to be pregnant so bad, also side effects of the progesterone. Everyone responds differently, wishing you good luck!

Bey, try not to compare and read too much, the lovely people on these boards are on different medications, please stay positive. What you can do is to refresh your mind on the do's and dont's on the General Forum. I am certain you will pick a few positive vibes that will help you through your wait, one of such is for us not to sit for long hours at at a desk. I said a prayer for you , and I know with God all things are possible.
