Hi - I'm new to the board but saw the over 40 crowd and thought I would join. I am 40 and have been ttc for 3 yrs. I am a cougar also - my DH is 5 yrs younger! We have tried IVF 2 other times and never got to retrieval - switched doctors because we moved and this IVF cycle I had 7 follicles with only 1 egg. Clinic said it fertilized normally and we should prepare for transfer on Wednesday. Anxioulsy waiting to here from clinc to see how the cells are developing. Does anyone know the success rates for pregnancy with only one embryo? Is it better to use assisted hatching when 40 or over?
