sunshine.12 - Good Luck with the ER on Thursday!

Rosario - Good to hear from you - thought you fell off the planet!!! Glad everythings going okay!

Stay Positive - 5 shots a day - oh my...

Debbie 67 - My DH passes out when he sees a needle. He's so funny.

Kushka - Sticky vibes to you!

Sarah - Aww hang in there! HUGS!!

AFM - I had my u/s today and my lining was only 8.6 and they want it to be 10. The nurse told me that they would probably reschedule my ET date BUT she called back later and said she talked to the doctor and he really liked the way my triple stripe looked???? Not sure what this means. I am kind of nervous about doing my transfer if my lining isn't thick enough. I have question posted to Ghost so, we'll see what he says.

Hi everyone

Just a quick post. ER yesterday got 5 eggs which was good for me. Just rang for my day 1 fertility check and we have two embies growing nicely at the clinic. ET scheduled for Friday morning. Thrilled to bits. :)

Will post more later.

thank you "wishfull27" for the invite

Post by Julie nurse »

Hi I began posting on another board, but I want to thank "wishful27" for inviting me to join you all. Thought I was too late to join in on the June/July hopefuls.....

This is the beginning of my 1st IVF cycle, and i am set to begin the injectibles on June 27. Needless to say, I'm scared to death.

A bit about me: My DH and I have been ttc for 2 and a half years. We had our 1st miscarriage four years before that (our much unexpected honeymoon angel). We waited until I finished nursing school then started trying again. 4 more mc's in one year. After much delay from an under qualified GYN, I searched out on RE. Since we have been under the care of a fetility specialist we have not gotten pregnant (a year and a half and three dr's later). IUI x 4, wait and relax approach, most recently the removal of a uterine polyop. Everything short of IVF or buying a puppy.

So here comes the IVF. I feel very confidant about my new Doc and his staff. Very high success rate for people my age (I'm turning 35 this summer and my honey is 43) sTILL, I am petrified that my DH and i are spending a small fortune and we will mc like all the other times. I am petrified I will be so horrible on my meds that he'll run for the hills. I don't know anyone personally that is going through this. I have no idea what to expect......

I would love to be all of your cycle buddy! I have my ultrasound/ bw this Saturday and should begin that day if all goes well. Please kmp on all your milestones.

Hey gang!

I am back from Mo from my baseline apptmnt today..It is so HOT! The heat index is unbelievable..

to_have_fun ~ my baseline went great! He seen 2 possibly 3 on the Left, and 3 possibly 4 on my Right. I am so excited! He added a vial on a couple of days to the Bravelle, to juice them up! LOL! He stated my lining looked good. CD9 is in a couple of weeks! I hope you have an awesome report tomo also!

AF still hasn't arrived, but I did get a good report.. (as I wrote above to_have_fun) Thanks for the AF dance..:) LOL

kushka~ thanks for the luck! I had a pretty good baseline today! Hang in there girl the 2ww will be over soon with your BFP!

GOOD LUCK to those of you have ER!

Hi everyone!! I see the board is super busy!!! You ladies never take a break!!! It's so fun to come back and read everyone's progress.

Thanq and Juli nurse Welcome to the board!! You're gonna find a lot of support here. I am starting stims this week so our cycles are very close!!

mikeandjess Try not to analyze those results too much. I really don't know what to tell you but trust your RE. I'm sure they'll do what's best for you!!! Good luck!!

sarah I'm sorry about the BFN's I know how you feel, but there still hope so hang in there, try not to lose the fate. Our stories are very similar and I know how much you want to give Jack a sibling, so hang in there girl and remember there's still hope!!!!! Good luck tomorrow hopefully you'll be one of those who got a bunch of BFNs before a BFP!!!!

Carolyn congratulations!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! Please keep us posted!!!

Wicked Congratulations on your ER and embies!!!

Michele Great to have you back!! I'm glad to hear about your trip. It sounds like a lot of fun. I'm sending you some AF dust your way!!!

AFM We had a fun weekend but AF came early and I wasn't counting on it!!! I almost have to rush back home from our trip for u/s and b/w, but RE said it was ok and as soon as I got back I went to RE's office. Everything looked good and I started stims (600iu) and microdose ovidrel tonight. Actually I wasn't prepared and I didn't have enough meds so I had to rush in the middle of the rain to go get them and then meet DH at the acupuncture place to hand him DS!!! Crazy but we all made!!!

OMG! I take a couple of days off and come back to mayhem! I am going to try to catch up, if I miss anyone I am sooo sorry.

Sarah- Please hang in there. My heart just breaks for you and am praying that tomorrow you get different news. The body is a strange thing and you have to stay positive. You never know what fate has in store.

Belle02-What is going on?? Are you hanging in there?

Carolyn- CONGRATS!! That is awesome news and I am just so thrilled for you!

Chris- You are getting close! I agree with you, insurance stinks. We have 'tricked' ours into paying for monitoring (u/s and BW) because of my past history, but that's it. Keep fighting. Always ask names, return numbers and take lots of notes. At one point of a medical disagreement I even told them I was taping conversation. Got some action then!

Katie!!- Thinking about ya! Lots of good vibes heading your way. You are always such a rock for everyone else, and we will be here for you. Love, love, love mastiff pups!! Post a pic!

MikeandJess- Tuesday is right around the corner! Now less than a week away. I am so excited to hear about your progress.

Sunshine - WOW! Thursday ER!! You will do great, piece of cake. You won't even remember it (ha, ha...love the happy gas they gave me).

Vicky- Enjoy the injections. I felt like at least I was making progress. They are not bad at all. I do mine myself if DH is not home, mind over matter. Its all for a kid, so it don't matter!!

Deftonesmo- 4 is awesome!! YOu go girl! Twins would be magical, I agree.

Rosario- We are all so involved with your U/S! Do you think they would let you post a YOU Tube video or something so that we could all watch??? He, he, he.

Prayin4BFP- All hubbies are different. I didn't really need the valium they gave me before ET, maybe you could just give it to him! My DH was very surprising. Very uncomfortable, and then at the end cried when my RE and nurses lowered their heads to pray for my one little embie. I was already crying, but he became just as overcome. Hang in there. Do you have any family nearby?

Abogenphol and Kuska- how are my 2ww girls hanging in there?? When are you two going to POAS? I am thinking I might try Friday, but it will be way early. Waiting sux. I don't feel a lot of action down there. Every now and then, boobs are not tender, and I am really feeling constipated (sorry TMI! I am just looking for someone to tell me they feel the same!).

StayPositive- I think hotel room sounds great!! List of benefits: ROOM SERVICE, MAID SERVICE, you get to control the remote!, fresh towels every day, lots of pillows, did anyone say SPA?? And no one around to murder if you have a terrible mood swing! I think we should all come stay with you!

Julie and Want to be Mom- Welcome!! This is a totally awesome group of women who have made such a difference for me. I hope to return the favor.

Michelle- WELCOME BACK!!

WickedWheel- YAY!! Will be thinking of you Friday!! Keep us posted.

KayCe- Great job on getting AF! I never thought I would pray so hard for mine to come as I did last time. Now, lets both pray the witch stays away for the next 10 months at least!

AFM- Well, you probably noticed that I had to take a break from boards. You were all so wonderful after my one embie transfer. I can not express how much your messages meant to me. I so believe in the mind-body link that I just had to check out and worry about me for a few days. Your words really are what kept me positive.

Following ET, I stayed in bed for 5 days! That's right! My DH took care of every whim, I read 5 books, watched countless movies, and meditated on how lucky I was so have this chance with one embryo. I put all my positive energy and force into it.

I returned to doc yesterday, Estradoil (E2) numbers were way low, they added the Vivelle patch. Doc told me not to worry.

I returned to work today, but had to sit through all day meeting. Totally distracted. I am spending tomorrow with one of my totally self-absorbed employees in the field, so I won't have time to think of me!

I haven't had many cramps. A few down low on left first couple of days, then last two days more towards middle. Breasts are not tender anymore, and no spotting. Now we just wait! My beta is not scheduled until July 3rd!! Office is closed for July 4th that whole week. So, I will probably start POAS sooner than that.

Love you all~!!! Hang in there - praying for all of your dreams to come true!

Oh Ladies, thank you all so much for the warm welcome back...you are all too kind :D

To our new ladies...please please if youw ould like to be added to our list, just leave a post with your info, stim start dates, expected ER and ET or FET date...and I will put you on our list. I missed so much from being away for four days I can not possible go back and figure it all out, so just leave me a post and I will do it....thanks.

daisy- how nice of DH! Sounds like a wonderful 5 days you had. Hopefully returning to work will help you keep your mind off of things...and keep us updated on when you start poas. And you asked Rosario is they would let her youtube the u/s, I totally did that with mine! Not the early one, but my first trimester testing and the 3d u/s I did I got copies and posted them! So it can be done, but I doubt this early, but she could definitely show us a pic (hint hint)

kayce- sorry af showed up unexpected, but af around here is usually a good thing, it means progress.

debbie- try and stay cool, I hate the heat myself...and it is starting to warm up in CT, so I imagine it is brutal everywhere else.

wicked- congrats on 2 growing embies, I am happy to hear it, and we will keep you in our thoughts for friday.

julie- I remember being scared to death too, but you will be a pro in no time, and you will learn a lot here. I am sorry to hear about the mc's. I also recently had a uterine polyp removed, and I read that they can be part of t he cause for miscarriages, so I hope that was the reason and you will have success this time.

Katie- I moved you back down on the list :( I know, it sucks, I had to do the same thing for myself...but hopefully we will move back up soon!

Ok ladies, I gotta get some sleep, Ella went to bed soooo early tonight, she was exhausted, but that means most likely an early morning for me...yuk

Ahh guys I love all of you hehe. I will definitely try to tape my u/s on Monday. I did have another scare and was told by RE that if it didn't get better, to head out to the ER. This is exactly what I did. Girls I am offically saying I AM HAVING TRIPLETS!!!! I just didn't think all 3 gestational sacs were still going to be there. Even my beta numbers were a little on the low side to be multiples. My beta today was 44,000+... Ahhh now to finish off with another suprise... I am having a SET OF IDENTICAL TWINS!!!! One of my embies split. I seriously can't believe this is happening. Girls advice for you guys... don't count on beta numbers I am proof of this. Babies had strong hearts. I was not able to hear it but I saw it flickering away. I am still in shock. I just want to make sure they didn't make a mistake and miss another baby since one split. I got pics of each baby. I don't have a scanner but I will take a picture of the u/s pic and post it up when I can ok? Guys keep me in your prayers!!!!

I hope you know that between you and Kas I am so scared of having more then two. Twins is great but trips scares the beezesus out of me.

CONGRATS you have been waiting a long time for this
.

I think someone posted on one of the boards commenting that identical babies have lower beta #'s . Don't know how much of that is true.
