Hi February Mommies!
Can I join your group? I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant after IVF/ICSI. I think my due date is around 2/24/10. My first beta was 170. I am thrilled, but still nervous. Did you gals have any new symptoms as your beta number doubled?

Yeah the wait is a pain. Im actually not sure when it is completely safe. I will ask my RE when I go next thursday. Up until that time, I guess we will hold off. But I dont see why it would be a problem if you want to go ahead.usmcwife14 wrote:OK ladies~ So how long did your REs make you wait before you could have sex again? I remmbered from my first IVF 4 years ago that we wait almost 3 months, when I stop taking the progestron shot, so I think it would be safe after 10 weeks or so, but u should ask u RE to be in the safe side

Definitely triplets!!!! One set of identical twins and a singleton all on its own =] I am still shocked but its finally starting to set in!

Rosario: I know how it feels!!! That shock it like hitting cold water 
. I will know more on Friday about my trips. I already have an appointment with a high risk OBGYN. They work with my RE a lot, so it's nice to be with someone who understands IVF.

back from the doc and here is the latest update on our little acorns.
baby A is now a whopping 11.8 mm with a HB of 146
baby B measures in at a stunning 13.2mm with a HB of 157
LOL I can't wait, we talked it over with the doc today and she agreed that we could bring my 10 yr old dtr in for our appointment in 2 weeks. We are going to have me ready for the U/S then bring her and DH in. My dtr knows nothing yet and will be told when she sees the twins on the U/S ...yep, already warned DH to have the tissues ready!

Alexis, my due date right now is Feb 9. However, that will put me at 40wks but I doubt I will carry twins that long so I bet it will be end of January for me. But I guess you can put Feb 9th for now until I find out more.

Hi everyone,
I am somewhat concerned had my second U/S on monday saw two sac but did not hear a heartbeat Dr. said it was to soon and to come back in two weeks. The dr. with the U/S told me it was normal that maybe I was not that far along . That my babies had a slow start. Which of course I got really concerned. I have an apointment with my regular obgyn tommorow to see what he thinks. Beta has doubled everytime. They ordered a beta today and it was very high. My beta nubers have been 166 on the 4th of june, on the 8th of june682, on the 10th of june 1942, on the 12th of june 3975, on the 15 th they were 12175 and today they are 74120 My clinic is not concerned they say it could be normal. But at 90euros a visit that is why I am going to my obgyn . Clinic told me if everything goes ok on monday with my apointment they would turn me over to my obygn. However, now I am worried that something is wrong. I have cramps that come and go but they have been like that since my et I do not have any bleeding and have all the pregnancy syntoms. Has this happened to any one

alexis They know its identical because 2 babies are sharing a sac. I transferred 3 blasts (1 of them was hatching). Looks like 2 implanted and out of those 2 one of those split. Its crazy but it will sink in shortly!

Hi ladies - please can I join in - never thought I would see the day when i posted on this side of the board 
Got my official BFP today - beta was 576 - no 2nd beta as nurse said did not need one ! - just got tortuous wait now till 13th July for scan - that is the earliest RE will do it as said gauranteed to see baby and hear heartbeat - how will i last nearly 3 weeks ?/
My due date is 26th feb - so only just fir into the thread!!

how do i do the ticker at the bottom please ????

Try not to worry.. With those betas it sounds like everything is fine. I could be wrong but betas don't normally double like that if there is no heartbeat.

I agree, my due date is either February 6th or 8th BUT the RE told me today that most twins are born between 34-36 weeks. *now let's reflect for a moment.... that means I could potentially have a new years eve/new years baby!.... not exactly what we are hoping for. I think it would be cute to have 1/10/10 as a b-day though. LOL
To anyone with nausea... my RE told me today that it is ok to take over the counter zantac for nausea if needed. Plan to get it today(along with more ginger ale and bananas)

Hello ladies!
I just heard from my re about my second beta... it went from 170 2 days ago to 524! That sounds good to them, and me too! I have my us scheduled for 7/7.
I also have a cramp in my right leg that my re wants me to get checked out by my gp. I am going to that appointment now!!!
