Sharon - Good luck tomorrow on your ER. Don't worry, there are more drugs/shots waiting for you after the procedure !!

AFM - went to my new OB (high risk). He had them do and "unofficial" ultrasound so I could get a heatbeat number (it was 167). Made me feel better. I will go back in a month - he did say I could not wait a month to just call and they would schedule me in. I know I am going to like this guy.

Hope everyone is doing OK out there.

Thanx for all your good wishes but there was no retrieval. Oh, i did go this morning but when they did the u/s before retrieval the eggs were not there. I OVULATED!! Whaaat? I think they were a day too late, I was cramping when I went to bed last nite, I was lying there like uh..oh! So went I had the u/s this morning I was like.."please tell me they are still there", sure enough I could tell by the look on her face they were not (I didn't start crying till she actually told me though). All those RE visits..all the drugs..bloating, fatique, stress..all for NOTHING!!!! So next month we move for another cycle, this time with donor eggs. I could not stand another disappointment. If I have to hear my FSH (right now 14) and pray as we cycle two more lonely follicles one more time I will just go to pieces.

Sharon: I'm so sorry to hear that you ovulated prior to ER. Are you moving onto a donor cycle next month?

Regards,
Tammy

I have left over Fertility Meds if anyone needs them I'm donating them!!!! I have:

5 Doses of Follistim 300IU (cartridges w/pen and new needle heads).
1 Box Cetrotide 0.25mg
22 Ethinyl Capsules 0.02mg
10Doxycycline Capsules 100mg (antibiotic)
5 Tablets Methylprednisolone 16mg

To avoid any donation for profit I will only donate to someone who has a posting history on these boards. The only profit I want to see is BFP!!!!

Sharon - Sooooo sorry  to hear that happened, but since you ovulated - grab DH and do it the old fashion way right now!! You never know what might happen.

You could check out another clinic (seems you were not monitored enough by this one for this to happen). But, if DE is the best option then go for it. Don't forget there is an "Egg-Head" thread on this board specifically for DE's, yes I lurk over there too since it was my next step.

Either route - Good Luck,
Tracy

Tracy...I went to one of the best clinic's in NJ. But I have to face fact that I am 44 yrs old and nothing can change that. Funny, I was monitored a great deal, maybe I messed up on the HCG shot. I don't know what the heck happened!!! If I was 40-43 I would try again with my own eggs trust me, but I just was not responing well to the stimms. My clinic has a donor progragm with NO wait time. So we will be able to start donor cycle next cycle!
You all are wonderful!!!!!!
Thanx soooo much for the support!!
Sharon

Tracy, I hope all is well with your preganancy!! You are truly blessed!!!

Sharon - I get it, I am near the "end" of using my own eggs too - hence me lurking on the Egg Head thread. With NO wait time - you will be back on the drugs in no time. Keep us posted and Good Luck.

Sharon,

That is great that your clinic does not have a wait for donor eggs.
How does that work? Does your clinic try to find a donor with
similar physical characteristics or do you get to select the donor?
My problem seems to be egg quality or implantation, as I do not have
any problems with stimulation.
