CONRATS ON THE TRIPLETS!!!! That is so exciting! I am anxiously counting down the days until next Friday (7/03), when I go in for initial scan/US/BW! Hopefully I'll be told to STOP taking my BCP and START doing injections on 7/05. That's how it should go if my schedule is similar to my first IVF back in January. I'm over the whole negative attitude and am really looking forward to getting the ball rolling and am thinking nothing but positive thoughts!! Good luck to everyone

Kushka- this is my 4th IVF/ICSI cycle. Had 2 IVF/ICSI cycles and a frozen cycle. This cycle is blastocyst - hoping something different will end in a BFP!! :D

Congratulations on all those BFP's especially Rosario with triplets! Wow! :D

Daisy106 - All that goes through my mind when having stim injections in the leg is that it'll be worth it. Plus a big kiss and hug from DH helps! :) I think I'd rather have the leg injections than then dreaded 2ww!!

CT_Michele- start my stim injections on Friday 26th, follow up scan on 3rd July. No ER date as well - but will keep you posted!

Fingers crossed all the BFP's pass on to us still waiting!

Take care ladies x Best wishes to everyone x

As suspected, this cycle was a bust. BFN  I'll be honest, I'm not taking this BFN as well as I did in April. In April (my first FET after my son), I felt like I needed to know what it was like to experience a BFN since I had gotten pregnant with Jack on my first IVF. Well, I've experienced it and it's not fun. I really credit you women out there who have done numerous cycles. You must be incredibly strong women. I don't know what's next for me. I only have 3 embryos left and we're basically financially and emotionally drained, so at this time we're going to take a break. I'm going to try to enjoy the rest of the summer and totally spoil my little boy!! (And potty train him!) I'm heart broken to think that he may never have a sibling, but at the same time, I can only see more clearly now that he is a true miracle. It's been a tough year for us financially as my husband switched jobs a couple times at the start of the year and then all this IVF junk. So, I wouldn't be surprised if we waited until next year to try again. I highly doubt I'll be able to just leave those three embryos alone. I don't have high expectations that they'll produce anything, but I do know that I'd always wonder....So, that's where I'm at at this moment. I'm sad to say that I am the first BFN for this thread. I hope that I'm the only one! Hang in there everyone! Baby dust to you all!

~Sarah

P.S. I expect my RE to call this evening. If there is any earth shattering news, I'll let you know. Yesterday I was sure I was going to go right ahead with another cycle, but today I'm thinking a break is in order...so who knows what cockamanie idea I'll have tomorrow! :D

SBR...gosh I am so sorry about the BFN. I wish I knew what to say. I am thinking of you.
Mike and Jess...yes I am scheduled for FET at 11am on friday. I am excited but so nervous. I am trying to be positive but I am older and I know my chances are slim plus I am still stressing about being an old granny for a mom...I want this so bad and what makes it worse that we wont know about the PGD until tomorrow. What if all the embryos carry the chromosomal defect? It is just consuming me.

Thank you all for welcoming me to this fantastic group of women!

Congratulations Rosario!!!!!!! Triple the fun, triple the love. :D :D :D

Wishful27: I am positively thrilled for you!!!!!!!! :D

It sounds as if every one of us on this board has had our fair share of ups and downs....you guys give us all hope that one day our mommy dreams will come true too!

SBR: my heart goes out to you, honey.

DH and I go in on Saturday for our sono & bw. Hopefully stims will follow. I will definitely update the board when I begin. :?

I need to go back and write individual greeting to some of you who were so kind to welcome me, but unfortunately I am working a double 12 hr shift tonight (that's right, ladies, no sleep for me today!) so unless all my patients go to sleep like they are supposed to i will have no time to check back in tonight. If they do NOT go to sleep like they are supposed to, they may find their nurse snoozing at the front desk!

Good luck, and sticky baby dust to you all.

Hope you guys enjoy my pics... By the way I am sorry for erasing my last name on the u/s pics. The reason I did was because DH's family (well some not all) are against me and honestly we are not telling anyone on his side we are expecting.

Wishful, I didn't get to properly congratulate you on your BFP!!! I am truly so happy for you. Everyone deserves to enjoy parenthood! Congrats.

Rosario, Those triplets are beautiful!!! What a true miracle story!

AFM, my RE didn't call tonight, so I'm thinking tomorrow....I'm planning to tell him I'm taking a break, so no rush, I guess.

Thinking of you all and hoping for many more BFPs...especially my best buddy BELLE!!!!

Rosario- that is awesome. I am so estatic for you with identicals!! The pics are really cool, thanks for posting.

Carolyn- Offical now!! Congrats girl!!

KatieG and BabiesGalore- Welcome! The ride is bumpy, but we will all make it to the other side.

Sarah- If you need to chat, PM me and I will send you my number. You can cry, scream, curse, pray, whatever you need to do. You have friends here. Take some time and relax. IVF is hard physically and mentally, take time to recover and regroup. Love you and thinking about you.

2 ww is killing me. Lots of lower back pain, probably from shots. Wish it would just hurry up!!

Lots of love to everyone! Stay strong!!
