Sarah - I am so sorry to hear about your BFN The best thing I did after my last BFN was taking a break. The break really helped me. I had no hope for a long time and now I feel better about the situation. I know this will happen for me. If you need to talk - PM me and we can exchange numbers.

prayin - Aww you won't be an old granny for a mom. I don't think kids look at it like that. My grandma was 44 when she had my aunt and I don't think my aunt ever thought of it like that. Things seem to work themselves out. Think positive - I know it's easier said than done but hang in there. You get the PGD results today so it's at least its a day before your transfer. I won't be too far behind you on the ET.

AFM - I AM OFFICIALLY OFF LUPRON! I start the PIO today - I'm excited but not looking foward to a sore butt again. I guess my lining had triple stripe which the doctor liked - but my lining wasn't as thick as they wanted it. Ghost said his office would proceed so I'm not so worried about that! OH AND I got some of my pee sticks in the mail yesterday!! I think the rest will be here today or tomorrow! THANK YOU MICHELE for the websites for ordering pee sticks! I ordered 10 from the same person you did and I ordered 5 from the super sensitive place. I figured I would use the super sensitive ones first.

Sarah - I am sorry about your BFN. No easy way to sugar coat it especially with this being the 2nd one in the past few months. Take hold of your precious child and cherish what you have. Take some time off and enjoy life. Then come back and try again when you are ready. Do you have any more frozen or will you have to do a fresh IVF?

AFM - Had baseline yesterday. E2 level was good and I have 6 or 7 antral follies and NO CYSTS, YEY!!!! So I will be starting my ganirlix on Friday. Then 400iu of Follistim on June 30. I won't go in for my follie check till 7/7. I will be doing an intralipid and IVIG infusion on 7/2. The infusion is supposed to take 6 hrs. Not so much fun but hopefully it will help with my immune stuff. I am still trying to get insurance approval to pay for the IVIG, it is $2000 for 100ml of IVIG so if the insurance doesn't pay then I will just be doing the intralipids. The intralipids are supposed to be the same thing and only cost $48. My RE's office does both because they are not totally convinced that intralipids are just as good as IVIG so they have me doing both. Which is fine if insurance is paying the $2000. All the rest of my meds should be on my doorstep tomorrow. YEY!!! I have been having a heck of a time trying to get them so it will be so great to finally get to see the big box of meds.


Now all I have to do is find my PMA. PMA, PMA where did you go? Come out come out wherever you are........

carolyn- Congrats on your official bfp! I am so happy for you, I know you have been waiting for a long time.

Sarah- I am so sorry about the bfn, take as much time as you need and know that we are all here for you whatever you decide to do next. I am in the same boat as you, 2nd FET after a successful first ivf, and I know if it doesn't work for me this time, I will just be devastated too.

mikeandjess- good luck with those hpt's. Hopeing you will see a positive on them.

afm- I just went for u/s and bw, they found a cyst on the left ovary, but didn't seem concerned, I really won't know anything until they call with bw results this afternoon, and I will of course update you all then.

I am so devestated right now. The embryologist just called about the PGD results and out of the 9 eggs we had 4 had no result, 3 had the chromosomal defect and the other 2 arent strong. He is going to try to keep the 4 with no result in the incubator another day to see if they will grow so we can do PGD again but he said they were the weakest of the embryos. I cant take it...I just want to scream. I feel like such a failure. I cant even produce good eggs because I waited too long. So I guess I wont be going in on friday...I just cant stop crying.

just a quick message from me. I had my ER today. they could only get 4 eggs! . was hoping for 7-8..a bit sad about the low numbers. now a lil nervous.. keeping my fingers crossed for them to fertilize and grow into healthy embies n babies. hope the next 2 days pass real quick. cnt wait to know how many embies will v get for transfer.

Below is the pee stick info. I can't remember who posted it?? Michelle, Chris or Carolyn...memory leaves me, but I copied it into the word document. I ordered the first ones on the list.

I have read positive reviews on them, claiming they work, but I do not know from personal experience since I got a bfn last time, but they are regular pee sticks like form the store, and the control line always came up.

These are the First response early result tests that I found on amazon. I ordered the 6 pack last time from seller name Aleegold. It was $24 for a 6 pack with free shipping, which is only a little bit more than what you will pay in the store for a 3 pack. He also offers a 9 pack for even more savings. The title of the product on amazon says the exp date on these are Nov. 2008, but down below is says they are actually exp date of feb 2010. Mine were the 2010 exp date, and they are true, for real first response tests at a much cheaper price.

These are the ones I just ordered for this upcoming time. $10, for 20 strips with free shipping. They are not regular pee sticks, but rather strips you dip in a cup of pee, probably the same ones they use at the clinics and ob office. I have never used them before, but shipping was quick, and reviews say they work fine, I just had to try for the price.

Sunshine- I know exactly how you feel. I was in your shoes one week ago to the day. I got upset right there in office, while other women were waiting to go back for ER. I am sure my sobbing did nothing to help them stay calm before theirs! We got 6, 2 fertilized, then only one made it to transfer. But I feel really good about my one!! That's really all I need anyway. We can both get pregnant this round, we just have to keep PMA. Hang in there.

Prayin4BFP- Have faith!! Hopefully those little cells are starting to bustle and come back to life as we speak. I like to show up late a lot in life, so maybe they are waiting to make grand entrance!!

AFM- Bored. Worked from home today - can you say got NOTHING accomplished. Maybe a little crampy, not sure if real or psychological. Kind of feel like AF symptoms. POAS yesterday, only 6dp3dt, of course got NO. I won't be doing that again until like Saturday or maybe even Sunday. Even though I knew it would say no, because hopefully it is still way too early, there was that little bit of anticipation of 'What if it says YES??' The waiting is killing me. My cycle buddy from clinic is going in tomorrow for BETA, hope she gets good results!! Way hot here in good ole South Carolina, but I guess its even hotter in our Governor's Mansion (jerk!).

Sarah I am so sorry about the result. Definitely take a break. Me and DH have after our 3 failed cycles and it is nice to be away - especially from people around you. They mean well, but it's nice to be away somewhere were no-one knows your business! Take care honey x x x

I'm actually looking forward to my stim injections tomorrow - means it's one step closer to becoming pregnant!

This forum has definitely made me more positive about things - I just wished I'd joined 2 years ago when I started this whole IVF lark!!

well dh just called and he spoke with the embryologist who said the 4 embryos that we were praying for have stopped dividing so they are no longer an option for us. Thanks for all the support ladies. I am so heartbroken right now. I literally feel like my heart is breaking. I dont know what we are going to do next.
