Anyone cycling July/August 09?

Want to be a mom - i did the a/p as soon as i started AF. i use to go once a week. the last one was one week after ET. I also did not rest as much with the FET - only 1 day as compared with the previous 2 times where i stayed in bed for 3 days. i took it easy though and also stopped using a heating pad after those horrible PIO shots. not sure which helped.

the pineapple after ET ...howmany days we need to eat that ?and howmuch in quantity

..i read on lot of the posts about the pineapple thing ,may be this time i will consider doing it with 3 days bedrest after ET.

Nils Welcome and I'm so sorry for your loss, you've been through a lot!!! I think you did the right thing taking some time off, we'll make sure you stay positive throughout this cycle!!

Want to be a mom This is my 4th cycle and I have a tentative ER of July 7!!! so it looks we'll be 2ww buddies.

I need to read up on it. I did the pinapple and I know it was a window of time to eat it then stop but I dont remember. I will ask around and check up on it!! Welcome ladies!!

Hi Ladies!!

Lost of posts mean losts of baby dust!!! I'm so happy all of the additions as I think we will all have great "DO's" to share! I was also wondering when to eat the pinnapple. I read somewhere that the core is the part that is the best... i just cut up a fresh one and tried eat the core and could not get the stuff to go down.

Got my call today that my meds are on the way! Also went to accuputure yesterday and was told that she is going to try and see if she could accompany me after my ET. Kayce- she also asked me to eat whole grains, veggies, mostly organic fruits/chicken and stay away from red meats/pork . I'm already on that path but will definatly stay strick at least two weeks before my ET. She said body works best if it is as natural as possible.

I would love to join this thread as it looks like we are all on the same calendar. I am doing a FET the week of August 10th and have already started BCPs. I have an u/s on July 9th and then start Lupron on July 13. I have four 5 day blasts left over from my last fresh cycle and we are looking to transfer only one.

Katie - Here we go again! Are you doing a fresh cycle or a FET?

tangela - Looks like our cycles are almost identical!

Hey ladies,

I just wanted to say hi over here too. As you all know, I am addicted to these boards and could never be a part of too many threads.

I know a bunch of you are on the june/july thread too. As you know I have been delayed a bunch, and if I get delayed anymore, I will be well into august for my FET. Right now I am still hoping for July 22/23. I go for u/s and bw tomorrow and am praying that my e2 levels have dropped after being on lupron for what seems like an etermity.

I also see that a couple of my bumpin fall 08 mommies are here, so instead of just lurking to check on them, I figured why not join here too.

As most of you know, I love keeping a tracker list for the threads too...so if anyone wants me to run it, I can just copy and paste what I have going on in the june/july thread and plug all of our names into it. Let me know what you think.

The june/july thread has started off pretty good with quite a few bfp's, so I hope this one will be just as lucky. I am looking forward to getting to know you all.

CT_Michelle - that is great idea to add all of us to the tracker. That way we can be updated where everyone stands given that the board is starting to grow. Hoping and i know we will be as lucky as the June/July thread with the BFPs.

Looking forward to getting to know all of u ladies.

I start my lupron on monday - yikes. Been a while since i did these shots. hope i remember how. do we have to do these the same time every day?

Babies - Good luck with the lupron on Monday. I know what you mean about forgetting how to do the shots. My clinic didn't suggest a refresher class on injections so I guess they assume we will remember! As far as I know, you need to do the lupron at the same time each day. I don't remember the shots hurting all that much - not as bad as the PIO at least!

Michele- Yippee! Glad you are joining us. Can you believe there are three of us doing this AGAIN? I hope the lupron shut you down and you are good to go in July. Keep us posted. I think the tracker is a great idea!

Today is my 5th wedding anniversary! I sent the baby to daycare and am spending the day with DH. We are starting the day with drinking mimosas and checking email. Hot tub here we come! And we have a babysitter tonight so we can go out to our favorite date night dinner spot.

Ok girls, I just copy and pasted what I had on june/july and plugged our info in, I think I got everyone right, but if something is wrong, just tell me and I will fix it.

Kayce- I put you under stimming b/c I think I read you had started. When did you start stims and when is your expected ER? I have to go over and update you on june/july too!

gecko- I know...3 of us! That's why I couldn't resist joining this thread too, since I will be spending lots of time checking on you guys anyway. Aaaw, happy 5th anniversary...enjoy the mimosa and take advantage of that sitter...I am sure you guys need the break!

babiesgalore- I try to do my lupron close to the same time everyday, but I am not sure it matters much, I am usually within the same 2 hours every night.

Ok, I just went for u/s and bw, I should get a call in a few hours. They found a cyst on my left ovary, but didn't seem concerned, they said they should have dates for me after the get bw back. I will update you all later.

Michele Wow I really don't know how you do it!!! You are the best cycle buddy!!! Yes, I started stimming tuesday, I'm guessing my tentative ER will be somewhere around jul 07 or maybe later since on my last cycle I went on for 17 days of stims. Good luck with the b/w and u/s, hope to hear great news!!!!

geckogirl Sounds like a great way to spend your wedding anniversary!! I'm sure you guys are going to have a great time!!! My 6th wedding anniversary this was on ER, so we didn't do anything!!! Enjoy your special day!!

Tangela This time around I'm trying to stay super healthy and watch what I eat!! So yes, I switch to whole grains, lots of fruits and veggies and I'm starting to get use to the beans (not my favs!). So we'll see, it's not going to hurt us to stay on the healthy side!!! So you go to ac every week?

Babies I know exactly what you mean about forgetting how to do the shots!!! That is how I feel with mine, but two days into it and I'm a pro again!!! I can even do it now while on the phone... I've never been on Lupron but I will guess you will have to do it everyday at the same time just like everything else.

Well, I've never heard about the pineapple!! But I'm curious to know how it works. I'm having a break from ER's office until monday when I go back for b/w and u/s.

Kayce- aaaaw, thanks for the kind comment. I wish I also had good news for today, but I don't, and will explain down below.

Let me first say my peace on pineapple. I have never done it myself, and have read about ladies who have done it and had success, but have also read about people who have not had success and did it. I would suggest just researching before doing anything and following reccomendations very carefully. I have read that it is the bromeline in the pineapple core that is supposed to be the good stuff that thickens your lining for implantation. It is only the core from fresh pineapple. I have read that pineapple can also cause uterine/abdominal contractions when eaten in excess, and that is not good for pre/early pregnancy, so just read and I guess it comes down to your personal preference. Maybe I will post this one for ghost since it comes up all the time and see what he has to say.

So I guess I should officially be part of this thread since my delayed june cycle that was supposed to happen in july technically just got cancelled. The office just called, and it was the RE himself, which I knew wasn't good news. He said my e2 levels did drop to 76, which was better, but not as low as they would like, and he said my lining was a little thicker than hoped too at 8mm. So he said it is the cyst that caused the e2 and lining to not be so good, and he said we need to start over...so I guess this counts as a canceled cycle. He told me to stop the lupron and he is calling in a script for provera which I start tonight and take for a week. He said I will then get af, come in for u/s and bw, then start bcp's for a couple weeks and then lupron again. He wouldn't give me a date, but by my math, I will be lucky to get an August transfer, thats if I have no more bumps in the road.

I am frustrated and aggravated. I could again look on the bright side and say, atleast I will not be working at all in august and atleast I get a break from the crappy lupron injections, but honestly, I am tired of looking on the bright side and I really just want to get moving. It just plain sucks and there is nothing I can do about it....ugh.

michele I am sooo sorry I can imagine how frustrated you are. Just try and breathe and hope that they get your straight soon so you can have a successful FET.

Gecko---Its nuts to think im doing this early sometimes I question myself but i know it will be worth it to try. I too am doing an FET.

I really have no idea when it will be. I go in for my Lupron Injection on 7/13. I just get one dose. THen I will get my period 5-7 days later and then I go in for Base Line BW and US and do ET i think 1-12 days later. I assume we will schedule it when I go in on 7/13.

Michele I ate pinapple last time and i remember it was only for a week before ET and then stopped. I need to figure it out so I dont do something wrong.

Good luck to everyone this is a crazy process with wonderful outcomes that I wish for EVERYONE. Infertilty is a cruel thing but thank god we have help. I'm glad this thread is starting up. I try and keep up with June/July but its HUGE so I will stick to this one and pop in the other from time to time.

Hi Ladies-

This board is really taking off!!

Kayce- This week was my second accup. session in 1 month. She wanted me to come every two weeks until closer to my ET date. I go back on july 7 and then july 21 and each week after until transfer day. I'm praying that my RE allows her to come the day of ET to give me the treatments while I'm there. I really don't want to have to leave one office and go to another immediatley after. She also told me that it would still benefit if I just wanted to go to her before the transfer and maybe 2 days after.

geckogirl- My husband and I are also celebrating our 5th year anniversary this year! Looks like we have more than just this transfer date in common. I think I'm going to unthaw all of my blasts and transfer 3...if my RE allows me to do that. We currently do not have any kids and would love if I could get 2 or even all 3 to attach.

Michlle- thanks for the tracker we are going to pray that this time around will definatly work in you favor. We going to claim that you have no more bumps and it will be smooth sailing.

Babies Galore- i agree, I'm almost sure you wil have to do the Lupron shot the same time everynight. I remember taking my little medical kit with me when going out with DH to do my shots in the car, restroom or wherever!

katieg- thanks for th pinnapple tip- I thought it was suppose to be eaten after the transfer! How many are you transferring on your FET?

What do you ladies think about me transferring 3- 5 day blasts?
