I think I am just in shock. Praying so hard that this is real. My REs office is closed next week, so my Beta is not until July 3rd. I'm in pharmaceuticals though and have a lot of doc friends, so I am thinking of getting someone else to run it on the 30th, which would have been my date.

I tested the last two days and got negative, so when positive popped up this morning, I was blown away!! For those who POAS, when was the earliest you got BFP at home before being confirmed with Beta?

Daisy- my bfp came very late on hpt because I was a late implanter, but I can tell you from being on these boards for a long time, that the absolute earliest is usually 8 or 9dpo (which would be 5dp3dt or 4dp3dt). Most bfp's I see come around 10-12dpo, and you are at 11dpo, so pretty average for a "real" bfp. Congrats!

Daisy, looks like yet another BFP for our board!!! How wonderful for you and DH! I love that you have "contacts" and can "make things happen," even when your clinic is closed! You go girl--use those friends!!! And keep us posted but it sure sounds like you got a genuine BFP!!!

It's been a long time since i have been on. So much going on.
I'm sorry about all the bad news i have read on a couple of you!
I'm happy to hear that there are several of you who have gotten BFPs!!!

About me (quickly - i'm at work):
I had my ER on Monday (6/22) and got 18 Follies.
I had my Transfer yesterday and had 2 transfered.
I go in on 7/6 for the blood work.

thank you all for your prayers and kind words..i checked with the clinic and 3 of the 4 eggs have fertilized and they are all in good shape so far! im so relieved! cudnt sleep properly yesterday. the number zero was hanging there like a monster in front of me...i was frantically praying that at least 1 of the 4 eggs will turn out to be a good one.

Daisy- wow!! tht sure is a BFP..im so excited for you..you were so positive with the 1 embryo you had..and it has surely paid off!! and one more time - yes it truly really take ONLY ONE to get our miracle..!! i hope you can use your contacts and get your beta next week itself!! cnt wait to hear it officially..

sarah - im sorry to hear about your BFN. you will be in my prayers. yur miracle will happen soon.

prayin4BFP - sorry to hear about your embryos. a big hug, and pls dnt giv up. your miracle is sure on its way.

katie99 - had my first stim injection tonight, and it wasn't as painful as I thought it was going to be!! Just keep telling myself that it's 1 step closer to being pregnant!

What's HPTs?! I'm new to all this message forums and not quite sure what all the abbrevations are!

CT_michele - so sorry for your delayed cycle. I personally haven't had one but it must be hard. The worst for all cycles is the waiting - so even worse when it gets put back x

PS. Started my stim injections today - can i please be added to the list! lol

I was able to skim through quickly on who posted.. sorry I don't have the time to read more often to keep on track with everyone! Once I am on medical leave( in a couple of weeks) I can keep more up.. I hope..

I took my first shot this a.m.! Went smooth. LOL!

I am having a decision problem.. lets see if you ladies can help me, in which I am sure you can!

Do I POAS or NOT. I am having mixed feelings on whether I should or shouldn't.. HELP! LOL! this is my last attempt.. maybe I should?? uggg!

Vicky- I will add you, I don't know how I have missed you all this time, that's why I tell people to just come staright out and say it, so I can catch it. HPT stands for home pregnancy test, which you will see a lot with POAS, pee on a stick.

I really think you are all brave for doing HPT (!) before your test due date! I've never done it - don't know whether to try ths time? How soon do you guys do a HPT?

Oh vicky, some of us are addicts...no names (me)...and start way way too earlier. If you are doing a fresh cycle, then you had a "tirgger" shot, which is the hcg shot (ovidrel, pregnyl, etc) that released your eggs for retreival. That shot itself if the pregnancy hormone and will make an hpt come out positive even if you are not pregnant. That shot is usually out of your system in 10 days, both times for me it was gone in about 6 or 7. From my experiences on these boards the absolute earliest I have seen a real positive hpt is about 5dp3dt (5 days past 3 day transfer, or 8dpo, days past ovulation), but the average positive home test is usually around 10-12dpo. But some of us...again...no names (me) hehe, like to do our own little science experiments and start a few days after transfer and continue 1, 2 or even 3 times per day until the bloodtest. Yes, it is torturous, and I really don't know why I do it, but I have to.

Yeah I have the last shot before I go in for ER. Never realised that injection was the pregnancy hormone! I've just never been tempted to do it - even though a lot of friends said how can I wait till my test date, but I've had that many BFN's that I just can't bring myself to do one before the actual test date! I did mention it to my DH tonight and he didn't seem too keen because he knows I'd be too upset if it was BFN! Although I'm quite tempted to do one this cycle!

I don't have a blood test - just do a HPT on the day the unit tells us to! The nurses have always said not to do a HPT because of false positives so put me off doing one early! Although it would be nice to see a positive result in the window!
