Dixie- I had my last U/S with my IVF dr today, my last one w/ them was suppossed to be @ 7 wks, but they let me come back 1 more time. I was so nervous to leave them, they are like family and I know my OB will be great but not nearly as involved. Anyway- I hope your u/s goes well, I was a nervous wreck this am, I was just praying for 2 heart beats and thankfully we had 2 strong ones. My next U/S will be w/ my OB, but not until July 17th, it seems forever away- when will your next 1 be? I agree with you; I will breathe a huge sigh of relief when the 1st trimester is behind us. We just have to pray and take good care of ourselves and the little ones. Be sure to let us know how your U/S goes tomorrow! Good Luck:)

faith77- My first appt with OB is July 10th. Its actually with a nurse b/c they couldn't get me in with a dr. Hopefully I will at least get to meet him. Amazing how different the RE and OB practices are run.
they told me at my last U/S, that once they detect a hb and if you don't have spotting, your odds of m/c are 5%, so i felt alot better after my first u/s. But lately, it just feels like I have been hearing so many people having m/c btwn their 1st and 2nd u/s. i am trying not to worry myself too much...keeping my fingers crossed for todays appt.
Glad yours went well faith77!! since there are two, is your tummy pouching yet?

faith77 - My checkup went great. Not only did the baby look good and have a hb of 186 but it was dancing around like crazy. It was so neat. Even the little arms and legs were moving around. The doc was even laughing b/c it was moving so much. I feel alot better. 3 more weeks till second trimester.....

Dixie-Chop-I am so glad it went well, I didn't realize how nerve racking it would be between U/S, so much can happen. Anyway, thank goodness we are both blessed so far. Oh and to answer your question about mytummy- yes there is a noticable pooch. From the weight I gained during my IVF cycle and twins you can notice my flat tummy is gone. But I looklike I have gained weight, I told DH I am ready to look pregnant, not just a few pounds heavier. Keep me posted on everything, my next U/S is July 17th

Everyone else- hope all is well, the board has been quiet, is everyone doing ok? any U/S results or sickness to discuss?

Neffi- If you're still reading the boards, want you to know we are still praying for you.

Neffi-I am so sorry to hear about your news. Please be strong and never give up. I am sure you will be spending quality time with little Jack now. You have been successful once and I am sure it will happen agaion. Remember, there will be light at the end of the tunnel.

LisaMaria - your are almost completing your first tremester...how exciting !!

Faiuth 77 - glad to heat that all is well with your scans. Yes, my stomach is also now a bit noticable. When I go back to work next week, I am sure my collegues will notice so I may have to tell them...

Dixie Chop - glad to hear about your scan. Yes, my baby was also wriggling and dancing and we saw a lot of movement. The nurse and we were amused. My next Nuchal scan is on the 10th of April. Parying that all will be well then.

amfmbaby- Glad to hear your news too. 2 days ahead ..sound good !! Yes, I am hoping to go back to work on the 1st of July and may have to tell my work collegues..

AFM- I am OK, just tired and find it difficult to sleep flat on my back. I have supporting pillows but still feel uncomfortable and want to make sure I don't harm the baby. Are any of you trying different sleeping positions ? I heard that sleeping on the left side is good...?

hey ladies sorry I have been mia I have been on bed rest for 3 days following subchronic bleed I am doing much better baby moll is doing well the hb 163 and still measuring ahead the clot was between placenta and uterus wall and has resolved itself thank GOD no more bleeding and I have returned to work today well my lunch is over Ill be back soon glad to see so many doing well first trimester is almost over ladies just counting down the days

yeah it has been quiet! not much new here. I had to move my first OB appt so I have another week and a half before I see them. I will be about 12 weeks when I go. Later than they wanted but I am ok with it since the RE has been monitoring me.
My pregnancy symptoms have finally started to kick in the last couple days. I am soo tired. I ran errands yesterday and when i got home i decided to lay day. I slept from 3-6pm, got up, had dinner and went back to bed around 10pm. The worst part was when i woke up this morning, I was still tired!! I am also gettin headaches when i wake up in the morning. They last for about 2-3 hrs. The tylenol takes the edge off but definitely doesn't take it away. Its making work alot more dificult in the mornings. Otherwise all is well. Cramping is almost completely gone.

How is everyone else?

Hi Ladies - Sorry, I have been missing in action along with everyone else. I have been so extremely tired, it is unbelievable. I sleep 8-9 hrs a night, take a nap on my lunchbreak for about 30 minutes and still seem to stay tired. My morning (all day) sickness is not letting up so I am still taking the Zofran, which I really don't like taking. Other than that, pregnancy is great! :o) I have another OB appt. tomorrow and I am hoping my doctor will do another ultrasound, I haven't seen them in a month and I think I am having withdrawals. I just need the reassurance I guess, although the size of my stomach should be enough for me, it is really sticking out! I hope everyone is doing great and continues to keep in touch.

Hey Girls! This board has been super slow- good to hear from some of you. I have been feeling terrible up unitl last week, I began to get some relief... finally. I am hoping the worst is behind me, and most of us as we draw closer to our 2nd trimester. It blows my mind to think we are all almost a third of a way through this journey- we all deserve this happiness of being blessed with additons to our families. Especially after the IVF process, goodbye needles:)
Anyway- I started pre-natal pilates, anyone else doing anything special exercise wise? Just curious. My last U/S was 6/25- 3 weeks ago, and I have to wait until next week for my next one, I am so ready to see my babies- this is the longest I have been w/out an U/S so far. But I did order a fetal doppler heart rate monitor and regretting I didn't go ahead and splurge on the overnight shipping, it won't be here until Friday and I am so ready to see if I can hear the heartbeats! Anyone else already used one of these and heard? If so, how many weeks were when it worked?

Lisamarie72- my tummy is showing a bit also- but I think I just look like my waist is gone, you are a couple weeks ahead of me, when did yours really become a bump?

Dixie- chop- sorry about the headaches- I seem to get them in the late afternoons, tylenol and lots of water seem to be working for me, a friend told me that staying hydrated helps alot of the pregnancy symptoms.

All other ladies- Keep us updated I miss hearing about what everyone is going through:)

Faith77 - sorry you have been feeling crummy, but glad that things are on the upswing. i increased my water b/c i read that on another website and I have gone 2 days w/o a headache. So happy about that!

As for the baby bump...I definitely have noticed one in the last week and I feel it is way to early. Most websites say around 4/5 months. I am still in my normal clothes but the waist is gettin more uncomfortable. I invested in a belle band (which they have another version on ebay for $8) so that I could continue to wear my normal clothes. But at this rate, I am worried about how big I am going to get. Good news is, i haven't gained any lbs (can't figure that out) and my clothes aren't tight anywhere else. Still loose on the butt, legs and arms. So I don't feel totally fat, just partially. LOL...Hope to hear from the rest of you!!!

Well girls- we need to step it up on this board!:) Today is my first day of wk 12 and I have felt better the past few days than I have since before my transfer. I do have a bit of a bump, I ran into a friend's mother whose daughter is 5 1/2 months pregnant (out of state) and she said Oh! your tummy looks just like Elaine's how far along are you? I could not have felt more big- when I told her not quite 3 months, but w/ twins she seemed to be surprised. I guess this means I can look forward to looking 9 months pregnant when I am just 7 months

Oh well, I have to come to terms with the reality that w/ twins I will get a huge belly. Can't complain- I am just blessed to have them! Anyway- Friday is our next U/S can't wait to see my little peanuts- I will update after my appointment.

Anyone else have anything to report? Are you still out there:) ???
