Sabi, Congrats that is wonderful. Don't let everyone scare you, beta numbers can be all over the place. Super high numbers with a singleton and low numbers with trips! Regardless of how many congrats on the pg

Gigi, we are also in the US and 100% out of pocket. We were quoted that DE could cost as low as $32,000 to as high as $45,000. So we decided to do DE in Czech Republic. I just wired money today for upcoming cycle, it was 4,500 euro, about $6,200. Even with the travel expense we are still well under what we would pay here.

Thanks everyone for your warm & heartfelt wishes. dh & are still enjoying this unbelievable wonderful news! You can't wipe the smiles off our faces.
We are soooo excited. But the "now what" is lurking in the back of my mind.
So much emphasis on the process & now we finally reached our goal.

Hi egg-heads!

Thanks for thinking of me today - my scan went well! No problems as far as the doctor could see relating to the organs or anatomy! And, it is measuring right on track. Hooray! Another milestone achieved...It is simply amazing, all that you can see on an u/s! Tomorrow is my 3 hour glucose test, hope I pass that as well as the baby passes it's tests!

Carolyn, enjoy meeting your midwife today! Did you choose her, or how does that work where you are?

Sabi - send happy birthday wishes to DH from me and enjoy the celebration tonight!

Great news ladies! Such an exciting time and such positive power going on this thread.

I'm a little down. My two best girlfriends and families are celebrating their husband's 40th in Italy next week at a villa in Tuscany. We have all know each other since grade school and their kids are 9 and 10 now. My family can't join them because of IVF expenses now and over the years...but know it's all worth it in the end. I am sure you all experience some of the expense downers too sometimes. Had no idea it was only $6,200 in CR. Wow!!! Should have been on this thread way sooner.

Hi eggies - I have a quick question. I've been on active bcp's for 6 wks now and I had some bleeding this morning and last night I felt like I was about to get my period. Is this normal on bcp's? I just don't want anything to screw up our schedule - my hysteroscopy is a week from mon and they planned a period for about a week after that (lined up w/ my sis's).
