sorry to hear that ny...but at the same time, i hope you're not too discouraged, i only had 5 mature last cycle and got pg.. and previous cycle i had only 2 mature and got pg (later m/c though). i know each step decreases the odds, and you have more steps to make it through..

but i do hope you can stay optimistic and hopeful. this is exciting that you've made it to this step. all the best, karen

Hey Ladies,

Sorry i have been MIA for a while... Seems those of you preggers are progressing really well, i hope you are all ready for your litte ones and are still comfortable and enjoying every minute of your pregnancies!!!

NY- thanks for asking after me, and i am following your progress, even if i dont leave a message..... you really deserve this to work, and corny perhaps, but quality over quantity .... you know we have seen that be true on these boards so many times - please know im thinking about you..

To Have FUn - COuntdown to stims has begun i see!! I am also following your progress - i usually check things on my pphone but its so fiddly to type replies on that think i am much more of a lurker thses days, but i am there and i will be watching and waiting for news!!

Marynaz - I feel you on the pumping all day and night, i am doing the same and taking the milk into the NICU daily... Any idea when your little ones will be coming home??? I also feel for you as i understand when you say motherhood has been tough so far, it has for me too. I have my 3 in the NICU and its very hard to leave them every day and we have so many issues yet to overcome.... you are not alone

AFM, my c-sec seems to have healed really well, and all the pain is becoming a distant memory, i just wish we could take our babies home!!! We are still battling some serious issues (including pneumonia in one) so i we are far from out of the woods yet. They are all still on ventilators and all have BPD, a chronic lung disease caused by being on the vents so long so this is a hard road so plese pray for my little ones, you ladies about to have your babies have no idea just how much you will fall in love with your little ones......

All my love to you all

Hi ladies, I've missed catching up on the latest but have been so busy lately. I just read the past couple of pages and saw all of your updates.

Kas, sorry your little ones are still dealing with some issues and am praying they continue to grow and gain strength so they can get well and go home with you. I'm sure your pumping to ensure they have breastmilk is helping them greatly. Glad you're healing well from the c-sec and am sure you're just focused on your sweet babies now. I know this has not been easy for you and just hoping you are staying strong.

Hi Karen, how are things with you? It looks like our due dates are fast approaching. Any chances you may go earlier? I'm going to OB once a week and still having ultrasounds at high risk doctor every 2 weeks. Our nursery is finished for the most part, just waiting on a big shipment from Target and BabiesRUs to get some final small stuff. How is your's coming along? Maybe you have some extra time now that you're out on medical leave. Good for you!

NY, sorry your ER didn't produce the results you had wanted. Did you get any further info? I know you are tired of cycling. Did you not have enough between the 6 mature ones and the ones from your cycle before? Keep us posted.

Chris, glad you had a fun vacation. It's always hard to come back to work after being out awhile. I know I'll dread coming back here in October. So when exactly will you start stims? I'd love to follow you if you're on another board. Maybe there is one for June/July?

Marynaz, good to hear from you although sorry to hear that your little ones came early. I'm definitely keeping you and them in my thoughts and prayers.

Gina, it was great catching up with you recently. It sounds like things are coming right along for you. Did you get a recent weight for baby Eric?

Hi to everyone else and thinking of you all. I had quite a big scare over the weekend. I was out walking my dog and he saw a bunny which he loves to chase. Before I even knew what was happening, he took off and I came slamming down to the ground and got drug several feet before I could get my hand out of the leash. I was immediately hysterical thinking that something had happened to the baby. Long story short, when I got home and told my DH he called an ambulance, they checked my vitals, and we were sent to the hospital for 8 hours of monitoring me and the baby. I was having some regular contractions the whole time, but have been feeling some on and off the past couple of weeks anyway. The doctor said it may or may not be related, but I wasn't dilated so they released me and said everything looks fine with the baby. I've never been so scared. Needless to say, no more walks with my dog.

Hey Everyone!!!

Kas - I know you and your little ones are going through a lot of ups and downs. Your little babies are fighters. Know that I am still thinking and praying for all of you.

NY - I guess it will be a couple more weeks till you find out if your embies were normal. Hoping that they are so you don't have to go through IVF again.

Marynaz - How are your little ones doing? July is almost here and you will be able to take them home.

Wonderance/Gina/Karen - Not too much longer and you will be announcing the arrival of your babies. I can't wait to see pics.

AFM - I am trying to stay stress free so I am not reply on the boards so much. I lurk all the time but am not trying to get wrapped up. I started the june/july thread and feel really bad because I am not there to support those ladies but in my mind I have been there for so many in past cycles that this is my time just to relax and let things go. I am currently fighting with my insurance. They are once again stating that my new RE is out of network so they won't cover IVF. We went through this last April and it was found that he was in-network. At this point I really don't care who my RE is and there is another RE at the clinic that is in-network so I just might switch to him. I love the RE that I am with but just don't want to stress over all of this crap. I go in for baseline on 6/24, then will start ganirelix on 6/26 then 450u Follistim a few days later. They also have me on estrogen suppositories which I am not looking forward too. I rather have shots any day compared to suppositories. O'well, this is my last full IVF cycle. Really don't think I can do it again but keeping my fingers cross that I will finally get a BFP and not have to worry about it.

Hey guys -- I am in Boston on vacation (well I dont work now (OUCH) so its not really a vacation). I am actually here for my baby shower. My brother and SIL threw the party for me as I don't know many people out in CA (just moved there in NOV). The party was fun cause it was couples and children were invited. My brother has a nice big indoor pool so all the kids were super excited (heated to 91 for the party). There was beer and wine (not for me) and lots and lots of tasty food! No games or anything, but I did open presents for oooos and ahhhhhhhs!

Over all a good time and luckily my belly FINALLY decided to pop out so I finally look pregnant!

I need to read through and catch up. I hope your girls are still growing and improving Kas and NY, sorry you did not get as many embryos this time. But I keep on thinking of you and thinking how you have those two perfect embies, but I want you to have at least 3 perfect ones so that gives you two tries on our own and leaves you one for a surrogate, just in case....but I bet you won't need one. And really I bet those two embryos are just fine ... but I totally agree with your approach. Stock up now, them move to the FETS after you are done with all that nasty FSH!

Hey and did I mention to you guys that my dang hair started to fall out after my first IVF round. Its still been falling out and so its been a year and a half of losing hair. I have a receding hairline, but luckily since I have SO MUCH hair (its very fine, but there is a ton of it) is not obvious to people, but very obvious to me. Anyway, the good news is that I THINK its starting to grow back! YAY!

I got back from the dr today, things are looking good, Alexander is 2 lb 14 oz and Abigail is 2 lb 10 oz. I am measuring more than a full term singleton and my aches are starting to get to me (back, ribs etc.) I am so lazy at work I feel bad but I just don't want to move at all...plus I have nothing to wear as I am outgrowing my maternity clothes!! I suppose all these things are good problems to have.

Take care

Hi girls, hope everyone is doing okay. We just got some more stressful news today. After my big fall, I went for my weekly OB appt today and they think I have early signs of preeclampsia. They sent me to the hospital for bloodwork and follow up, then sent me home for bedrest over the weekend. I'll go back Monday and find out the next step, whether I'll be induced or put on bedrest again and induced later. Either way, trying not to stress too much. Hope you're all hanging in there and am keeping up with your posts. xo

I was thinking of all of you last night. Some will start delivering in a few weeks. Want you all know know you are in my thoughts and hope you all have a good delivery. Can't wait to see picks.

Wonderance - Hope things go well with your appointment on Monday. i know preeclampsia is nothing to mess with. My friend had it and delivered her baby 2 months early. Keep us posted.

Much Hope, Kas and Marynaz
- Hope your little babies are doing well. When will they be able to come home? I know this has been a rough journey for all of you.

NY
- You are my hero, doing so many cycles. I don't know how you can keep going. Hoping that your cycle in August can get you a couple more perfect embies.

Lynniecat - Glad so see that you were able to get away and have a good baby shower.

babyhope - i bet you are pretty big with twins. How long are you gonna work before taking leave?

AFM - Start stims on Tuesday. ER should be July 10 - 12. finally got all my meds which was a pain in the arse as usual. Going to visit with my sister in Peoria for 4th of July. It will be nice to see how big her little ones are getting. Nothing else is really new with. DH has messed up my weekends now that he has the new job and is off every weekend. I can't enjoy being as lazy as I was before. though he is getting more stuff done around the house which is really great.

Hope everyone has a good weekend. Anyone have big plans for the 4th?

Hello everyone! It has been quite a while since I've posted any comments, however, I have been reading the posts.

Chris I am happy to see that you're starting to stim. I am praying for you that all goes well this cycle. I will try to keep up with you on the other board. Thanks for all of the support you offered on this thread. I hope that you enjoy your weekend in Peoria.

Wonderce I was so relieved that you were okay after the dog incident but I am sorry to hear about the preeclampsia situation. Hopefully you won't have to be induced early but the good thing about it is that you don't have too much longer to go anyway. I hope and pray that all is well with you. Be sure to take it easy.

NY I know that you were probably hoping to have more than 2 embies, but thankfully you were able to freeze those two since we all know it only takes one. I wish you the best with everything.

Elida, Kas, Marynaz I hope that all of you and your little angels are doing well. We appreciate the updates when you're able to do them. I could only imagine how much is involved in motherhood! I am still continuing to pray for all of you and your families.
babyhope It was good to read that things are well with your babies. I hope that everything continues to go well.

As for me, I am hanging in there as much as possible. I am 35 weeks now and my hands and feet are starting to swell and hurt and I can hardly sleep during the night due to the weight of the baby. But despite it all, I am just taking one day at a time. I am scheduled to have my c-sec on the 27th of July so I am counting down! :D

Karen, Gina and everyone else, I hope that all is well with you. I doubt that i'll post again before the weekend so Happy 4th to everyone.

Hi Wishing4blessings! I'm glad you're still checking in and sounds like you're getting down to the wire with your c-section coming up at the end of the month. I can totally sympathize with the swollen feet. It can get pretty uncomfortable but at least you don't have much longer. Thanks for your concern about my fall and preeclampsia. I actually went in Monday for a follow up appt and they feel it will only get worse, so we got some shocking news that I will be induced tomorrow! I figured it would come to that but not quite so soon! Anyway, I'll go in tomorrow evening and start on Cervidil, then follow up with Pitocin. If all goes well, I should have our baby girl Thursday or Friday. It all still seems so surreal to me!

Anyway, I wanted to tell you all how much I've appreciated each your kind words along the way. I will be catching back up on things when we get back home and want to hear how everyone else is doing. I'm still thinking of you all and wishing the best for each of us. Wish me luck!

Quickie update!

Had a bunch of appts and found out all is GREAT. Baby is breech though, but I am only 33 weeks, so she has time to turn and there is plenty of fluid in there for her to move about still!

Had my birth center tour and the rooms are awesome (well the labor rooms) then they move you to postpartum rooms which are nice, but not nearly as big as the labor and delivery rooms! The one we saw has an amazing view of downtown San Francisco as its on the 15th floor. My guess is I wont be spending much time enjoying the view, but who knows!

Hope all are doing well. Looks like a bunch of us will be delivery soon! And our other ladies will be showing their BFPs soon (I HOPE ;-)
