UPSET ABOUT NEGATIVE HPT

Post by ruthiej74 »

I am currently 6dp3dt with 3 really really good embryos. I told myself not to take a HPT and to wait until July 7th for my first BETA. Well, I found a Clearblue Easy Digital pregnancy test under the sink and decided to take it. It was negative....Please can some one tell me if I still have a chance??? Is it too early to be testing with HPT????

I was told that you should not test until at the very least 9days post transfer. I think it is way to early. Keep your spirits up.

Its WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY too early for an HPT. Seriously, waste of a test! LOL but I might have done the same thing if I found one hanging around. You need to wait AT LEAST two more days. You are only 9 DPO. I got mine at 12 DPO and 13 DPO and my tests were negative on all days before then.

Go out and get yourself a First Response Early Result test. Take it when you are 9 Days past your 3 day transfer. AND if that is negative, it still may be too early.

So these tests often detect down to 25 or 50 units of HCG, When I was11 days past a 3 day transfer (14 DPO) my blood result was 34 for HCG. Some HPT would have given me BFNs, but that baby is currently wiggling around inside me at 33 weeks pregnant!

So absolutely ZERO, I mean ZERO reason for you to be upset right now! REMEMBER ZERO reasons.....in fact if it was a BFP, I would worried about it being the trigger still!

That test result is irrelevant to your chances. There is almost no way an HPT would detect a pregnancy that early.

Lynniecat is so right. You are WAAAAAY too early. But, I know how you feel. I took one on the same day justs to make sure the trigger was gone (which it was, of course) but just seeing the negative rattled me.

Good luck with everything! :D
