5 weeks and light brown spotting

I am 5 weeks with twins. All levels look good but I started spotting light brown discharge today. My RE has me on bed rest until my next u/s Monday (my 1st u/s was yesterday). It is a very small amt at this point but I am still scared. Anyone have early spotting and have everything turn out ok?

wishing - I am also pregnant with twins. I had brown spotting every week until I was 7 weeks. I was told brown spotting was ok and not to worry. Easier said than done, I know! I was later told I had placenta previa which caused more spotting at weeks 13 and 14. I was on bed rest for a week but things seem to be better now.

Aims- thanks so much for the reply. So glad to hear that things are progressing well for you after the spotting. I am trying to stay positive. Thanks for making me feel a little better.

Did you have it everyday? Occasionally?

I am currently pregnant with Triplets and I have pretty much been spotting since 06/06/09 which was 2 days before my beta. Sometimes its a lot and sometimes its very little. Last Friday I bled the most but shortly after it stopped. RE says its normal especially when we have a thicken uterine lining.

I have 9 months old twin boys, I also had brown spotting at around 7 weeks, but I continue to have a healthy pregnancy and delivered two healthy boys at 36 weeks after an uneventful pregnancy. I have heard a little bit of spotting is common in twin pregnancies...

Thanks for the replies ladies. The spotting went a away for a few days and then Saturday I soaked a pantyliner with red blood. It eased up and turned brown and luckily we saw 2 heartbeats yesterday morning. They are measuring about 5wks6dys. Needless to say I am still really scared. I am having a little bit of brown spotting still. No cramps but some back pain that might be due to bed rest. My RE has ordered bed rest for the time being.

I so hope my babies hang on.

Hi everyone,
I am 8wks and 6 days pregnat with twins and last sat I started spoting went in for an U/S and everything with the babies is ok just had a small hemotoma . I had brown bleeding sat, sun, very little on monday, none yesturday or today but I am put to bed rest untill next monday. I hear it is very common
