Okay - I am only doing a quick post - I'll send everyone personals later.

I am 3dp5dt and I POAS and it was negative. I am not disappointed - yet. I am going to test everyday until my beta. Just wanted to keep everyone updated!

Hi All

Daisy - congratulations on your BFP! :D :D

Ange - Try not to worry - I'm sure everything will work out. Maybe staying off stims for a few days will make a difference. Just keeping thinking one of those follies will turn out to be baby! :D

Well everyone's follie dance has worked for me - 23 follicles on today's 1st scan! :D 3 were 13mm 5 were 10mm and the rest were just under 10mm. I've got to continue with stims over the weekend and go for a 2nd u/s on Monday. I mentioned about feeling sick on a night and tired, and generally a bit unwell, but I've put it down to the warm weather - the nurse checked and said I was ok to continue on my current dose - phew! Thought there was going to be a problem. Also the lining of my whom is getting nice and thick - forgot to ask the measurements! Will have to ask them to write the numbers down for me!

So nice to know that the stims are doing their job properly :D

Was quite funny during the u/s as how the follicles were placed they made a shape of a face! ha ha me and my mum have took that as a sign! :D

Have a lovely weekend ladies.

Hello Ladies,

Thank you all for the great words of encouragement. Congrats to all the new BFP :) :) :) I'm so happy for you all. :) :) :) You give me so much hope.

I went in yesterday am for bw and us. Before I went in for my bw the lady says to me, you have to see the doctor today. Immediately I knew it was bad. As I sit in the chair my eyes immediately begin to well up with tears. She brought me right in for my us. The doctor comes in to tell me I only have 2 follies. The doctor has me on the highest dosage and doesn't know if I'll respond any differently next cycle. He tells me to go for it. He proceeds to give me encouraging words and leaves. I get my us and she tells me that I actually have 3 follies. I then called in and they tell me to continue meds and come in the am for my pre-op appt. I'm cauciously (sp?) optomistic at this point. Until I get a call from the RE's office around 2. It's the doctor. He's called to tell me that my E2 is too low (203) and that he's sorry he didn't have my numbers when he spoke to me that morning. He suggested we cancel my cycle. I was on 5 cc lupron and 150 follistim, 75 menapour. He thinks that maybe they try withouh the lupron next time. I need to see my RE and wait for my next AF. But we need to watch the cysts I have. I just had a laparoscopy in April. I don't think another surgery is an option because it will make my endo worse.

I've been so upset. My DH came right home from work yesterday after I gave him the lastest update. So, now it's back to the drawing board. Thank you all for encouraging me along the way. Maybe I'll be in the July/August thread.

Hi everyone,

Well, I am in bed (yes, still in my hotel room but now DH has joined me so it's much more fun). My ER was yesterday and all went well EXCEPT that I had a HORRIBLE reaction to the anesthetic (had never had any kind of anesthetic before). About one hour after the ER I started vomiting and continued to do so for the next 5 hours! OMG it was horrible. I probably threw up 20 times total. And of course I was still in a drug-induced haze so the whole thing sucked! They gave me 3 different anti-nausea drugs and NOTHING worked. OK, yesterday my screen name would have been Stay Nauseous!

The good news is that I am recovering from the ordeal and am finished with all the puking (hopefully). My belly still feels sore and bloated and full, and on top of that I'm sore from being sick. But the best news of all is that they retrieved 18 eggs and I just got the call saying that 14 fertilized. So, we're really happy about that news!

I guess it will take a few more days to get back to normal. I am going home tomorrow so that will be good. I'm also taking a new medicine (Cabergoline) that will supposedly help decrease the chances of OHSS. I think they were a little worried about that because I did have lots and lots of follies and my estradiol was always running on the high side (but obviously not enough to cancel my cycle). So hopefully no OHSS!!!

I hope everyoneelse is doing well. Daisy, I saw your good news! CONGRATS to you and thanks for keeping the good ju-ju going on this thread!

Stay Positive - that is so awesome about your fertilized eggs!! YAY!!

I ALWAYS have a horrible reaction to the anesthetic. I get the same thing, I get nausea and vomitting for hours too. The last time I had surgery they also gave me medicine for it and I was still horribly sick. It sounds like you're doing better now so you should be fine.

I have you ALL on my prayer list and hope and pray that things will continue to go well for you. :) :)

Happy 4th of July Everyone!
Image

This pic was taken last night at one of my friends houses. We went to hang out for a little while and watch some fireworks. Today we have decided to throw a last minute picnic since a lot of people seem to have no place to go, so we offered to host. I already have sausage and peppers slow cooking and we will grill up some hot dogs and hamburgers and have a good time. I have to go get some sparklers, Ella loved them last night!

stay positive- I am sorry about the anesthesia, but I am happy about 14 embies! That is awesome. I saw on the list that you are not listed for ET until august...were you freezing and having testing done? I can't remember.

debbie- glad to here stims are going well and we will be looking for your ER update next week.

johannanita- I am so sorry you got cancelled! I know how bad it sucks, and I can't even imagine how frustrating it must be after starting stims. I hope you can get going again right away, and feel free to join me, and a bunch of other on the july/august thread.

vicky- wow 23 follies! Thats great!

angie- good luck with the coasting, I hope those levels come down so you can stay away from the nasty ohss. I really hope you don't get cancelled.

daisy- congrats on your BFP! woohoo!

Ok everyone, have a fun, and safe, weekend! Enjoy all the bbq's!

mikeandjess- I am praying for you. I know that the few days leading up to beta and getting neg hpt's are the worst days, just keep the faith no matter what and I will pray that the super sensitive ones work. I never got to see a postive on the webwomb ones b/c I got a bfn last time, so I would love to hear that they work!

Hi Everyone -

I hope that you all are having a great weekend! We are busy here, I'm trying to get DH to finish some home projects (its not going well, I swear sometimes he develops ADD to get out of chores lol) OK since I never got AF my RE said to go ahead and start BCPs anyway ( Now I feel nervous )
What can you do? He is the one with the MD, right? I'm a little concerned with the lining, I mean it was at 7mm when I was cancelled june 18 so with no AF isnt it still at 7mm? Is that ok? Is it too much to start a new cycle with? I posted to Ghost and he said that my protocol was "unusual"
I am just going to be positive, there is no other choice.

Daisy - OMG!!! Thats a high beta!!! SOOOO excited for you. When is the 2nd beta?

Michele - Ella is soooo cute!

Stay Positive - 14 FERT!!!! YAY!!! You must be so happy!!! Plus you get to go home. Wishing you patience dust from now til ET

Mikeandjess - Yes, of coarse you are in our prayers. I wish you PMA & I still think that you POAS too early - Hang in there honey - hugs

Johannanita - I'm sorry to hear that. It just happened to me too. Your attitude sounds good though, Hopefully next month will go better for you

HUGS & PRAYERS & PMA to everybody

Hey Ladies! Happy Fourth of July! I am inside watching all the boats on the water. It is way too busy on the lake today, and I don't feel like getting thrown around. Does anyone know when I can go back to 'floating' in the water? My IVF friend told me not until 4 weeks past transfer?

Thanks sooo much for all the well wishes! It is surreal to see my name with BFP next to it on Michelle's list. We told my parents today. They were the only ones that knew we were doing IVF, so couldnt hold them much longer. Everyone else will have to wait until 12 weeks.

A couple of you asked about high Beta?? 587 does track high on the charts, even 18 days past ovulation. Hopefully the second one will give some more insight. I go in for #2 on Monday. I would love for it to be twins, but seriously doubt it. We were only able to transer 1 embie, and the chances of it splitting are slim - but then again, look at Rosario!!

Katie99- My husband has taken over the vacuum duties for the first few weeks. He thinks he only has to do the rug in the den. Every time I have to say, the ENTIRE first floor. Funny, after 8 years of marriage, he never noticed that I vacuum all of it???? Trust in your RE, let them worry for you. Promise.

Michelle- Thanks for adding me! Ella is SUPER, SUPER cute!! Love the outfit - she is quite the Fashionista!!

Stay Pos- OMG!! 14 is so awesome!!! Congrats on such a successful ER. Let us know how you feel. Relax at home. Sorry you were so sick.

MikeandJess- Still too early! I did not get BFP until 8dp3dt. I also bought the WebWomb sticks, but they are a little light in the beginning. I got my first positive that I believed in when I used First Response Digital. I liked it because it was YES or NO. On the WebWomb ones the first few days it was so light, that I just didn't trust it. I would have to go buy more digital, pee again, and then I would feel better. They are not cheap, but for my sanity it helped. As the week went on, it was neat watching the WebWomb lines get darker and darker. But you are still early. Some people also implant a lot later. Hang in there.

deftonesmo- Hope your spirits are picking up!

KayCe- Can't wait to hear from you!

Vicky- FOLLIES, FOLLIES AND MORE FOLLIES. Doing the dance for ya!

Debbie- You are getting so close!! Counting the days until your ER and hoping for lots of follies!

Johannanita- I am an endo girl too, and low responder. My lupron dose was minimal - 2.5cc. There is hope for us endo girls, and it can be done. Take the time to regroup, eat really healthy. Have you thought of acupuncture? I loved it and it helped me so much. My RE allowed her at the clinic right after transfer, but we decided to meet at my house afterwards instead. You do electro stimulation on your back for about 1-2 months before transfer, along with some points on the front. It doesn't hurt and I enjoyed the nap time.

Vicky- thanks! 23 follies is incredible!! I love the face - I think that's a good sign.

Angie- Hope they can coast you right along! You really do not want OHSS. Take it easy, when is your ER again? Are they going to let you do ET right after, or have you wait a bit?

Okay, going to read for a while. Hubby finished with his chores, so he has gone on the water to play. Maybe a nap.........

Hi all. Hope you are having nice weekends.

Daisy - Good luck on mondays beta. You must find it so hard not telling anyone. ER was meant to be monday or wednesday but now I just don't know. I am at the hospital twice on monday so hopefully things will become clear.

Michele - that picture of Ella is so cute. I love the outfit.

mikeandjess - I will be thinking of you. Try not to worry too much yet though, it is still really early.

staypositive - congrats. 14 is a fantastic number. I bet you can't wait til tomorrow and getting home.

Katie - thanks for the advice. I will ask on Monday.

Vicky - 23 is great! I may see you on Monday. Hope all goes well for your scan.

Hi everyone,

A few personals...

Michele: OK< I've already told you how cute Ella is, but now she's even cuter in her 4th of July outfit! You are so fortunate to have such a lovely little girl! And yes, you were right in that I now have a LONG wait until I start prepping for transfer. It's all due to waiting on the test results to come back. So, likely my ET won't happen until the middle of September (YUK!!). Hey, can you make a new category called "the 12ww?" Ha ha.

Johannanita: Ugh, I'm so sorry about the cancelled cycle! That was a huge worry for me, as my Estradiol ran high and it seemed like I might be responding too well to the stims. But alas, everything is fine now. So, if you got cancelled I'm sure it is for a very good reason. Just get back on the horse and face the next cycle with lots of rigor and PMA!

angeinhull: Also, I'm sorry about the cancelled cycle. So frustrating. I do think that things happen for reasons and also that timing is everything. So hopefully this next time will be THE time.

mikeandjess: I agree with everyone else...it's too early to know yet. I would be so excited and curious that I'd be POAS by now like you, but try to keep waiting. There are too many stories on here about BFN's turning in to BFP's as time goes on.

katie99: I love that you still sound funny and upbeat despite your cycle news. I think that attitude will bode very well for you. I'm thinking of you and hope for the best the next time around.

Well, AFM, still recovering but starting to feel better. I actually ate some food today and had a very long nap (like all afternoon) so I'm sure my body needed that. Tomorrow I have a 4 hour drive back home, but at least me and DH will be following each other (we have 2 cars up here right now). Monday will be another "big news" day re: the status of our little fertilized eggs, so I'm crossing my fingers that they all keep growing and doing well over the next 2 days. I'll keep you all posted!
