Spring/Summer 2009 babies!

Post by esperanza »

Hello all, baby Asha is 4 weeks old today, and I'm so ready to chat with other mommies. It'd be great to share tips, concerns, fun anecdotes, and anything else about our bundles of joy and our lives as mommies. Anybody out there?

I am here...but you already know that! I didn't even see this post when you first put it up, I don't know how that happened...anywho...I do hope you get some mommies to join you, but I just wanted to say you are more than welcome to come and join us on the Bumpin 08 fall mommies. I know we are a little bit ahead of you, I think the youngest baby is around 6 months right now, with most being around 8 months, but they are some awesome ladies (some you might recognize) and would welcome you with open arms. It might also help being able to ask questions to people who have just gone through what you are currently experiencing. We are constantly discussing milestones, developmental achievements and comparing notes to see if our babies are "normal." Asha is really not that much younger, and the age gap will just get less significant as they grow.

Just wanted to throw that out there...and Asha is just gorgeous by the way! Talk to you soon.

Michele-- thank you! you're so sweet. I will definitely stop by the Bumping 08 Fall thread...it'll be great to get a sense of what to expect as Asha grows up. Actually, I remember doing that while going through IVF and pregnancy and it was very helpful to read other folks' stories who were ahead of me.

SILVERANGEL--yay!!! I'm glad you're here too :) I read your post in our former thread. I'm so happy your little ones are doing great. I loved the story about your daughter's relationship with the twins, so sweet, it warmed my heart up.

My little Asha is doing well, she's so precious and definitely the love of my life. She's my little doll. I can't believe she's already 2 months old...time does fly. We've dealt with thrush (actually, we're still battling it...uggghhh), some colic and intolerance to the milk protein, but overall she's a very healthy baby. Motherhood has been good for me. It was really challenging at first, so many mixed emotions and very little help, but things are much, much better now (especially because my mother has been here for about 3 weeks now...ahhhh...I'm so thankful!!!!!).

I look forward to sharing this journey with other mommies.

Hey Ladies, I thought that maybe we could get this thread up and running again. I've been having some porblems with my computer and it not letting me post here any more but I think we've figured it out and I'm ready to rejoin the ranks of my ladies. How is every one. Any updates on the miracle babies out there?

HELLO EVERYONE!

SilverAngel!!!! how are your precious twins?
Asha is growing and growing and making my life both more lovely and more complicated, all at the same time :) That girl is the light of my days. I don't have much time to post right now, but I wanted to say that I'm back, I miss my sisters from this board :( How's everyone doing? I'm trying to be a full time student and a part time worker, and a super duper full time mommy and it's not working very well...craziness. Love you all and I look forward to sharing with you all over here again.

Hi ladies!
Congratulations to you all! I had my daughter, Brannigan, in June. Hard to believe almost 4 months have gone by... she was 2 months premature so technically, I should still be on maternity leave!

How have things been for all of you?? It's so nice to see all of us through IVF! I still read posts in the IVF forum - hard habit to break after anxiously reading and posting in that forum for the whole pregnancy.

Can't wait to hear how you all are!
