Home Pregnancy test

Post by Eytbol8 »

Hello All,

I will have my embroys transfered in around the 19th of this month. How long after that can we do a home pregnancy test...if I get too impatient to wait for my 10-day :)? Also, is there a home pregnancy test that works better or that some of you prefer?

Thanks!

If you test less than 5 days after blastocyst transfer, or less than 7 days after a day 3 embryos transfer, then you'll just waste a pregnancy test.

I would not test until at least 7-8 days after a blastocyst transfer or 9-10 days after cleavage stage (day 3). Even then, false negatives are very possible.

The best after trying them all ;-) is:

Me: 44 severely reduced reserve
DH: 44 perfect
IVF 1: Feb 08 -BFP twins (lost one at 7 weeks, one at 13 weeks) :-(
IVF 2: June 08 -BFN :-(
IVF 3: September 08 -BFN :-(
IVF 4: November 08 - Katherine Emma born 8/9/2009 :D
