Hi ladies, sorry to be MIA for so long, I've missed this thread and all of you guys like crazy! We were on holiday for 2 weeks in Portugal and got back Sunday 28th, I spent last week rushing around catching up on chores and admin, went to a wedding over the weekend, and my parents came to stay last Friday for a week so I've been spending time with them.

But I've FINALLY found the time to sit down for a few hours and catch up with the thread! I've read everyone's posts - such a lot of news, I'm sure 90% of it won't stay in my head having read 28 pages of posts in one go (do you guys type in your sleep??)!! I can't comment in huge detail on everyone or this post will be pages and pages long, but I need to do just a few personals and more will follow later this week:

Massive congratulations to Rosario (fabulous pictures of your three beautiful babies!), nicksgam (Nicole), EYCI (Julie), wishfull27 (Carolyn), belle-02, abogenpohl, sabi and Daisy106. Way to go, ladies!!!

Carolyn, I've only ever had negative HPT's too, so I can imagine the moment of shock when you're finally looking at something which says 'pregnant'!! Good luck for your scan next Monday!

katie99, I'm so sorry you got cancelled last time. I'm doing my FET late this month so maybe we'll be close together? I'm in love with Ava, she's gorgeous! It's been years since our dogs (a yellow labrador and a red setter cross) were puppies that I'd forgotten just how cute the puppy stage is!!

Welcome to the new joiners, although when I say 'new' I mean 'new to me', as I've been away from the boards so long that I've missed a ton of stuff! KatieG, I think your FET will be pretty close to mine, might we be 2ww buddies?

AFM, I started my down-regulation drugs 10 days ago while we were on holiday and all the same lovely side effects from my last cycle have kicked in now - feeling exhausted, daily headaches, regulat hot flushes, night sweats and no sleep. Such fun! AF thankfully arrived at the weekend, so that is one less thing to worry about! I go for my baseline scan and blood test this Friday and hopefully will be given the go-ahead to start estrogen tablets to build up my endometrium. Then if all goes well, I'll have my FET on 27th or 28th July. We only have two frozen embryos so we have to keep everything crossed that one or both of them thaw properly on the morning of transfer.

Right, I must have a break from the computer now as reading posts for two hours has made my eyes go funny! Catch up with you all soon,

Hello Ladies - how many phone calls does it take to get an answer from your RE? My God quite a few, plus I always have the dreaded wait for a callback because its ALWAYS an answering machine. At least it was the right answer, though - no change in protocol meaning that I'm NOT stuck with half a cycles worth of expensive meds! YAY! They also said that they dont foresee a problem with my lining since I never got AF after being cancelled. I think thats because it wasnt building up the way it was supposed to in the first place. So I am back on track, on BCPs til the 30th then start stims again

Mikeandjess - I know how frustrated you must be - just hang in there a little longer - wishing you patience dust til your beta!! And of course lots of STICKY thoughts & PMA!

vicky - grow those FOLLIES!!! Keep us posted on your u/s

daisy - How's that beta #?

mikeandjess - I don't remember if you had a 3dt or a 5dt, maybe the post below might help. If you had a 3dt then your body is just starting to produce HCG so there is still hope for a positive beta. If you had a 5dt, then there is a possibility that maybe it is just a late implanter and it could be that your HCG level is just not high enough to register on an HPT. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. My last clinic also made me wait 2 weeks after transfer, which is way too long.

this is what happens in a 3dt :

1dpt ..embryo is growing and developing
2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

Michelle - Glad to see AF is here, hoping that the RE's office can get you in by Wednesday so you are not put off any longer. Oh and Ella is so adorable.

katie99 - Your RE's office sounds like my old RE's office. I had to leave VM's and then play phone tag to get any of my question answered. It really sucked because for security reasons, I can't have my cell phone at work and they always called my cell phone when I asked them to call my work phone. Just added so much more stress. Glad to see that you are able to use the same meds.

hjw - Glad to see you are back. I am so jealous of your 2 week vacation.

angeinhull - YEY!! Congrats on getting to trigger. Good Luck at ER.

sunshine.12 - Hang in there. Yes, the 2ww does suck but if you get a BFP it will be well worth the stress. Since you did the HCG shots, at least you won't have to driver yourself crazy with POAS.

prayin4BFP - Most clinics will let you stim with cysts if your E2 levels are good. Keeping my fingers crossed that you can start your cycle.

Tanya - Sorry to hear about your negative beta. Most of us have been in your shoes and know that it is easy. Take some time and relax, enjoy all those things you couldn't do while in a cycle. Then when you are ready try again. That is all we can do.

AFM - I go in tomorrow for a u/s to see how my follies are developing. I am just hoping for 3 good eggs. I don't want much do I ? My calender says possible ER Sat or Sun.

Well my 2nd u/s went well. 1 follie was 16mm and 5/6 were 13mm and the rest were 10mm or under. Lining of womb was 10.1mm although it was 11mm on Friday but the nurse said measurements can vary depending on the sonographers. I've got 2 more nights of stims and then another u/s on Wednesday. They think ER will be on Monday 13th! It's mine and DH's wedding anniversary on 17th July and I can see us spending the time in hosp with ET! Was nice to have DH with me today - normally its my mum that comes to the scan appts so was nice to have DH with me. Felt more like he was part of the cycle and it wasn't just me going through it.

I've noticed these last few days that my boobs are quite sore and fuller! Anyone else had this? I had a FET last year so can't quite remember what happens with a fresh IVF cycle!

TrueBeliever - your post was lovely! Had me in tears by the end of it! I was feeling really low today but after my scan and reading your post has really made me think positively and that it only takes one and we are strong ladies!

well I am sidelined for a week. REs office called and said my estradiol levels are too high so I am going to be on lupron for another week then back next monday for BW and sono. I can start stimming then if things look good if not then I will have to wait a month or so to rest. Crap. This sucks.

I went in for my baseline us/bloodwork on Friday and all went well. I had 5 follies on the left and 7 on the right! I didn't get any measurements, though, since it was just my initial appointment. My estradiol levels were also perfect. So, I started my Lupron shots this AM and begin the Gonal-F and Menopur shots tomorrow AM.

I did get a new tentative retrieval date of July 20 which is only 13 short days away! I'm really excited!!! My next u/s is scheduled for next Monday!

I POAS again today 7dp5dt and I noticed a very light line. I showed DH about an hour after I POAS and it didn't really look like it was there anymore. I think my eyes are just playing tricks on me since I want this so bad. DH said he sort of saw it too but he thought it might just be a reflection from the light. Who knows.

That was my last super sensitive pee stick. I still have some regular ones. I might go out tonight and buy a couple digital ones. I am going to test tomorrow morning too and then if I still don't have a positive, I am only going to test every other day until my beta. One more week to the beta.

Still keep me in your thoughts and send me sticky vibes. I need them.

Hi, I hope all is well with each and everyone,
I have been stimming since Friday, and had BW yesterday (that looked fine) I will be going back in Thursday for the work up and they are thinking ER on Monday. I had to pull Monday out of them, they don't like to talk dates at all, but I keep bugging them because I have not taken any time off of work because I got delayed and that of course messes things up so I was just rolling with the punches then realized I really need an idea of whats going on here, ya know.
I also have a question, when it comes to a 3dt or 5dt what day is day one, the ER day or the day after ER??

Kasey - day 1 is the day after ER. they consider ER day 0. Good luck and glad you finally got some commitment from your ER.


mikeandjess - Hoping that was a true line and you weren't seeing things. I would think that if you are PG you should have a positive line in 2 or 3 days. Keeping my fingers crossed for a BFP.

Second Beta is in: 4460!! I am tracking pretty high they say. I only transferred 1, 6 celled, B- embie. Could it have split??? I will not be having my scan until August 6th. So ticked. My RE is going out of town. I will be working tomorrow on finding someone to do it sooner!!

Congrats Abogenpohl!! That is awesome.
