Kayce rest up and let those embies snuggle away.

CT have a great trip.

Katie--thats crazy you had to go 45 min away / I will say that ive waited 45 minutes at the stupid pharmacy right by me b/c they are sooo slow and always busy. Crazy Pharmacy's but I guess we would rather them slow and accurate so I shouldnt complain :)

I am still going back and forth on what to do. I am sopposed to go in for my Lupron shot monday so I have a few more days. We are leaning on going for it!! I may try and call my RE nurse and talk to her today.

Its great to see this thread has really taken off. Good luck to everyone and I will try and catch up on everyone soon!!!

Follies are growing wootwoot! Appointment went well today, and I go in again Saturday morning. They are looking to trigger Monday evening and do the ER Wednesday. ACK!!!!! I have quite a bit of discomfort even though the follies aren't HUGE. They told me because I'm so small that it's going to feel a little worse for me. Good times.

Hello Girls!!!! Just a quick update!!! I went in for ET this morning a had 2 embies transfered. We had an 8 cell and a 7 cell embies that weren't the best quality :( . We've had 2 previous cycles with perfect embies and BFNs so I kind of know our chances are a little slim now. I'm keeping the faith and hoping this will work for us!!!!

OMG I'm not sure if it's too much to ask for but I only pray to God for one more... just one more baby, a sibling for DS and I'm all done!!!!

Thank you all for the PMA and good wishes, you ladies are the best!!!! I'm going to take it easy for these 4 days, DH took some days off so he can babysit. I'll keep you posted!!!

Baby Dust to us all!!!!

Kayce: Keep the faith. My RE said that he has seen some of the ugliest embryos turn into the most beautiful babies. I hear you. I would love to have a sibling for my little guy. We shall see it if it in the cards for me.

Dogzrule: Grow follies grow!

BabiesGalore: Twelve follices is a nice amount. With my last fresh cycle, the RE thought that I had 10 follies but during ER he found two more, so I got 12 eggs.

CT_Michelle: I have done any tutoring. I mainly teach math, but have also taught business courses.

Hello to everyone else that I have missed.

Regards,
Tammy

KayCe - Congratulations on your ET! :D :D You are officially PUPO now! Stay positive, I have seen women with perfect embies who have gotten BFN and women with embies less than perfect and have gone on to have healthy babies! It only takes ONE!! and everytime is different. I truly believe if it is meant to be it will happen. Rest and enjoy being PUPO!

Dogzrule - Your almost there! ER for Wednesday, how exciting. I understand the uncomfortable part. I only had 9 eggs altogether but felt like I had 30! or I was 6 months pregnant with the bloating and discomfort. But it is all worth it in the end if it gives us our miracles. Keep us posted and good luck with Saturday's scan.

KateG - I am sure you will make the right decision for you. I agree with what Michelle said about there always going to be stress and something coming up. I agreed so much that I decided to go for it now instead of waiting until August or September. Listen to your body and do what you feel is right for you! Keep us posted.

BabiesGalore - 12 follies sounds great! How much longer until trigger? Good luck with your next u/s and FOLLIES GROW!

Gi - Welcome. August will be here before you know it.

Wishing everyone else that I missed well!

AFM Just waiting for AF to appear around July 16/17th and then off to the clinic for my baseline u/s and bw and to get approximate dates for ER and ET. I received all my meds today! The RE will be showing me how to mix the Menopur :? Unsure about the whole mixing process, it looks alittle intimidating. Has anyone else done the Menopur and if so any issues or bad side effects?

Well, the family is waiting for me to get off the computer so I will check back later! PMA and Baby dust to all!!

Wow!!!

I had a lot of catching up to do before posting!! Staying away for a few days gets a girl behind :)

Kayce- Congrats on your ET... it only takes one. My co-worker went through IVF and transferred two no so great embies and one healthy girl attached. Think positive, rubb your belly and pray that one or both embies find a safe place!

Shelborn- it's okay.... September will be here before you know it. Thanks for the baby dust and I'll be sending some your way after my BFP!

Annisbug_ - Don't worry about the mixing part, it should be a breeze. There are also several websites you can visit to watch it step by step if you get nervous while doing it at home.

Dogzrule- You will soon be in the 2WW club! Blowing lots of baby dust your way

AFM- went to accup. on yesterady and I really felt the flow in my uterus when she placed the pin on my tummy. She said that the pain that I felt means that my body is reponding to the chinese medicine. I have appointment to go each week instead of every two weeks leading up to ET. I'm also going for my trial transfer tomorrow and decided to tell my RE to unthaw all fours blast and select the 3 best ones to transfer and if the 4th one survives, I'll ask him to refreeze.

Sorry for not responding to all but you are still in my daily thoughts!!!

Baby dust to all!

Hi girls,

Kayce congrats. on the transfer! Try not to worry to much about the quality they can turn around in their natural environment, lots of girls have gotten pregnant from not so perfect quality embryos. Have a nice relaxing wkend xx

Dogzrule: I used to feel every little follie, i am small too and even going over speed humps was painful j (my partner) used to try go around them because i could feel them all jiggling inside me!! Good luck with scan.

Shelbyrne 0214 Sept. will fly by.... maybe its faith and worth the wait. I know its frustrating cause you just want to get straight back into it but your body needs a little more time have lots of tlc.

Anissabug: Not long now, you must be exciting to get starting esp. now the meds have arrived.

Teachertam how is your IUI cycle going??

Tangela1016: i have never had a trial transfer but it makes so much sense, good luck, when is estimated transfer?

AFM all quiet still another 3 wks till preperiod scan though i am going to buy an ovualtion kit 2moro cant hurt to give it one more try!! Got my bill yesterday for the FET so it makes it seem real, there is no insurance cover in Ireland though it think it is cheaper here its €1000 including meds though no matter how much it is you would get the money from somewhere to have a baby.
Hi to all i have missed (still trying to remember names) and have a great wkend - its All Ireland Leinster Finals here this wkend so lots of football to watch!!

gi xx

Hi everyone!

how are you all doing today? yay Fri! I hope that everyone has a great weekend - we finally have some summer weather after weeks of rain!

kayce - YAY PUPO!!!! you're the first one!!! hope that you take it easy on yourself and get lots of rest - the 2ww is like "lazy time" without the guilt! ENJOY!!

Gi - I'll have my fingers crossed for you! I'm so jealous at the prices in Ireland! My God we spend like 15-20 times that per cycle!! Enjoy the football games!

tammy - that is so great that you got preg naturally! its funny that being so involved with ivf sometimes all these un-natural procedures start to seem normal - does that make sense?

michele - We miss you!! The BCPs I was complaining about arent "special" just especially hard to find! they are Reclipsen - I've never heard of them before, CVS said they would order them for me, but I couldnt be bothered to wait so I put the prescription + refills in a drug store that seems to hire the sloooowest people they can find. I'm hoping that I wont need them anymore though! 8)

babies - 12 follies is great!!! :D Was that your 1st scan this cycle?

katieG - If DH will pitch in ALOT with the move you should go for it. There is always something going on, I think we would all be waiting a really long time if we tried to wait for a stress free time in our lives.

dogzrule - take it easy, drink lots of water & grow those follies!! :D

shelby - I know it hard to have to wait. But its bettter to wait for a greater chance :D sept. will be here soon!

anissabug - I'll do the AF dance for you! Dont worry about mixing the Menopur it comes with a Q-cap ( supereasy mixing tool) you'll see when you open your meds

Tangela - I have thought about accupunture before, do you think it really helps?

Cheekyone - how are you doing, my friend? Congrats on 13 FOLLIES!! :D Sending you loads of follie growing dust!!!

HUGS & PMA to everyone!!

Anissa - I too am on menopur, and it took me forever the 1st time I mixed because I was making sure I didn't mess up! The only hard part, it turned out, was all the needle changes. After that 1st one though, it was a cinch, and I have been able to do that one quickly and easily ever since! :D No worries my dear!

Wow! Here i thought i was doing a great job of keeping up with all the posts. The board is really active. That is so awesome.

Katie: yes that was my first scan. they upped my follistim dose coz my E2 level was a bit on the low side. I go back tomorrow for the 2nd scan. Hope the BCPs are going well.

Cheeky: Congrats on the 13 follies. Am sure they are growing beautifully. Grow follies grow! When is u're estimated ER?

GI: It definitely does not hurt to track u're ovulation. Wow the cost in ireland is definitly way cheaper than the states. The meds itself are ridiculous. The 3 weeks will go by really fast. Lots of PMA

Tangela: glad u made the decision about the number to transfer. I love the Accupunture treatments and i definitely feel it the closer i get to ER. Even if it is not helping i always feel really relaxed after the treatments so i think that is enough for me given all the stress we face with the IVF.

Shelby: really sorry to hear to u have to wait till September but at least now u have a plan. Hang in there and lots of PMA..u will get there and before u know it have a big fat BFP. ((((hugs)))))

Anissabug: Menopur can be pretty intimidating but it usually comes with very clear and easy to follow instructions. After the first couple of times u will become a pro. Doing the AF dance for u! Not sure when i trigger. Waiting for my 2nd u/s tomorrow. Probably mid next week.

Teachertam: thanks for that. i too believe that it only takes one but more would definitely be better!

Kayce: Get lots of rest. Sending u lots of sticky dust! Like everyone said, we do not always get BFPs with perfect embies. U never know so lots of PMA and waiting to hear about the first BFP in our group!

Dogzrule: good luck with the trigger and ET on monday!

KatieG: So glad that u made a decision to move ahead with this. Like others have said, we will always have stress in our lives we just need to learn how to manage it and learn to let others know if somethting is getting in our way! Good luck!

Lots of baby dust to everyone!

Hi Ladies

Babiesgalore- I feel the same way. I did not have the treatments with my natural cycle and I was a bit more stressed. This time eventhough I don't have to go through the entire process, it has helped me relax and has given me positive energy.

Katie99- This is my first time doing it and when I told my RE today that I was going through it, he said GREAT! His office is actually going to do a study shortly about the benefits. I've also read soooo much about the treatment prior to going and Ive hear really good testimonies. The treatments are suppose to help blood flow to the uterus and help your lining. It won't hurt to try.

Cheekyone- grow follies grow,grow,grow!!!!

Gi- My FET is scheduled for the week of Aug 10!

AFM- Went for my trial transfer today and my RE told me that my scan was pretty> he said it was very easy to get to my uteres. I also shared with him that I wanted to transfer 3 blasts and he did not totally agree :? He said that he will thaw all 4 and if 2 of my 5 day blast still look great, he would only recommended tranferring 2 and not 3. He only wants to do the 3rd if 1 of the 2 are poor quality. My office has a very high success rate with FET especially if they are blasts. He sounds very positive about this time for me as he said that because I'm not taking all of the other hormones that sometimes interfere with the endometrium (sp) my transfer will kinda be like a natural pregnancy. I'm also gearing up to start these lupron shots Sunday- I'm going to pratice my measurements with water. Can't afford to loose any of the meds!!

My mother, sister and I are giving my Dad a surprise B-day party at my house tomorrow...so I'm back to cleaning and preparing.

Baby dust to all!!!!
