Congrats on your BFP!!!!

Your Beta # is fine, don't worry. I think most RE want it to be between 50 and 100. The most concern is that it starts to double so sending you tons and tons of doubling vibes.

It's a little on the low side. Seems like FETs are often like that. Maybe the embryos are slowed a bit by recovering from freeze/thaw?

Anyway, like to_have_fun_08 said, the doubling is more important than the value.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

OMG....congrats!!! I am so happy for you. I just had my first Beta after my 3rd fresh IVF cycle (we had no embryos left to freeze) on July 7 and it was negative. I see the doctor on Tuesday so we can talk about what our next step will be. Hoping we can try again real soon.

I will pray that you have a happy & healthy pregnancy!!!!

Best of luck Tris, from what some of us have learnt on the board it is a good start, you just have to stay positive as much as possible. Wishing you a successful term.

Today I went in for my first us and saw the sac! so HCG did go up well so far....The doc said it is a "great size" and the yolk is starting to form...I will be 4 weeks post transfer tomorrow....Thank God because last year I only did 2 IVFs and they were both ectopic!!! so traumatic! so imagine my fear....Now we see it in the right place at least (where could it go with both tubes gone??) ....So Im really hoping that this is the one! Praying for everyone here and myself....we all could use it :)

Tris-

Seems really good! Also, you said the HCG was taken 10days post. At 14 days post I had a beta of 168- 2 days before I was prob. @ 80, and maybe 40 at day 10days post, since it doubles every 2 days.

Your RE is doing everything so early. Any reason for that?

Anyway, may you see that gorgeous little heartbeat VERY soon!

Happy pregnancy!

Hopeful-
Why are clinics testing so early?? Again, at 8 days post, 13 sounds right to me. If it doubles every 2 days, then it'll go to 26, then 52, then 104 by 14 days post, which sounds great! Is there some reason they tested so early? And what does your RE say about your number? Lots of luck!

Thank you for your reply that makes me feel better. The reason for the early was I was having severe pain yesterday. When I went to the dr it turned out to be a gallbladder attack and I ask for the blood test because I knew if I was pregant I would refuse any pain meds. I called me RE soon as I got the results and the nurse said they were lower than she would like to see them and that she was a little concerned but really couldnt say anything until I had my blood work Monday to see how much they went up.

Hey Guys! Yes I also found it strange that my doc tested me so early! 10 days post et....which made me more nervous.... maybe because I did an FET? but in my clinic they always test on the 10th day! And YES whats important is that HCG doubles and the most important still is the ultrasound!!! I think even if you dont test your HCG after the first, as long as they see the sac when its time and then the yolk, etc. then youre OK.

I dont want to scare but based on my experience...just to share, and you will see that Ive experienced a LOT!! In the end what you see during ULTRASOUND is what will matter most! This is my 6th try 1st IVF = BFN, 2nd=BFN, 3rd= BFP but mc´d 10th wk, 4th= BFP - ecto!, 5th= BFP - ecto again!!! and now FET= BFP- so far so good....As you can see I had 2 ectos!!! and during that time my HCG started low! but doubled well!! so I thought everything was OK...in the end it was the ultrasound that told the truth....no sac and yolk when there should have been one.... which caused concern for my doubling HCG but nothing in the womb....So dont panic as many still deliver healthy babies inspite of low HCG levels but then wait til Ultrasound....

Good luck to all of us then and please update on the outcome.....remember each person is different and I know so many miracle stories.....just dont panic, enjoy your BFP and just live day to day in peace :) It will happen too with determination and faith!
