2 week wait

Hello!
I'm new to this website - wasn't ever really into these chat forums, but I think it's great that there are places like this to share experiences with other women. It's great how supportive everyone is of each other. Still don't quite get all the abbreviations though! I'm 34, (hubby 40) and just completed first cycle of IVF. I'm on that 2 week wait now - and it's got to be the worst bit! I was planning on taking time off work, but i need the distraction. Has anyone any tips of how to get through it? I swing from being optimistic to really negative! Arghhh!

Good luck with your 2ww. I have just started mine too. I really can not give any tips on how to get through it though. I have started my family tree this time to keep me occupied. I am off work and have visitors tomorrow.

Have you joined the juhne/july cycle on the ivf board? If not feel free to join us, there are a few on the 2ww at the moment.

The only thing I can say from last time and from reading on here is to not over analyse everthing as hard as it is.
