Going to try soon for #2... anyone else?

Post by sharishu »

I started lurking around these message boards once again. I haven't been around here for about 10 months, since soon after the birth of my son born via IVF.

We are thinking of number 2! I think we will start beginning to mid September. Anyone else thinking of/starting the process for their second child? I'm getting excited and impatient already :).

Happy pregnancies everyone!

Wow! I haven't been here on the message boards in quite a while, not sure why I checked in today, but what is the 1st thing I see? My old bump buddy Sharishu is back!
I want to wish you GREAT LUCK on your next try. I've found I'm happy with my singleton so no more tries for me.
You & baby must be doing well since you are looking to do it again.
Again,
Best of Luck

Hey Rebecca!

Well, I'm juggling work and mommyhood (and wifehood :) ) and I won't say I'm not tired! The prospect of another baby is a bit scary, but it's my dream, and I'm sure I'll adjust accordingly. I've made quite a few friends in my new neighborhood, and we really help eachother out, meet for playdates/sanity/support. Now that I'm writing on the boards again, I'm getting pretty excited about the thought of it all. It's amazing. The baby is so scrumptious, that the MAJOR difficulty I had in the beginning (pneumonia, pain from surgery, etc.) doesn't scare me from doing it all over again.

Glad to hear you are doing well with your little one. All the best :).

I'm a bit late but I am too going at IVF for the second round. My daugther is three, I was trying to space it apart. I think about how tired I am now so I often wonder how will i have another baby and what happens if the next time is twins :) I'm sure we will make a way as we have no choice :) Best of luck to you. I Have to two frozen embies myself and wonder what the sucess rate is of frozen verses fresh. Keep me posted on your process
