Holy cow! It has been forever!!! How is everyone? Anyone still out there? All is great here! Noah just got his first tooth - can you believe it? He is such a god baby. He is crawling and pulling up on everything and trying to walk behind everything. Such a fun time!

How is everyone? Can you believe it has been almost a year??

Hey Seltzer and Tina!

We're doing great! Little angel is sleeping now. He had a looong day, since it was his first day back at the babysitter's, and he had a nap from 4-7pm when he got home- then back to sleep for the night at 8! My dh is starting a business this week after a 6 month unemployment stretch, so he's been a stay at home dad till today.

How's everyone?? Eliya is going for physical therapy, and is coming along nicely. Just a mild delay. He started belly crawling a few weeks ago and is ripping the house apart! He sits up, but doesn't yet pull up, or go from sitting to crawling. But the PT is happy with his progress. We think the delay has a lot to do with me not realizing just how important tummy time is! I'll know for next time...

Speaking of next time... anyone thinking of trying for #2? I am setting my sights on early fall, and getting excited at the thought of a little brother or sister for Eliya.

Hope all is well.
All the best,
Shari xo

Hi, Shari! Great to hear from you! We are having a wonderful summer so far and spending a lot of time in the pool. Noah loves the water! We started swim lessons and go once a week which is fun. However, it seems like we spend most weekends in the pool at home.

Noah started at the Goddard School in June and we love it. I had a tough time adjusting the 1st week and he has been sick a lot more, but he is doing so well there. They got him holding his own bottle and starting to use a sippy cup, so I am thrilled. Noah army crawled at like 6 mos, but then all of a sudden a week after he started at the Goddard School, he started full crawling. It was pretty funny. I don't know when he will walk, but he pulls up on anything and everything which makes me a nervous wreck. He holds on and walks along and goes from place to place. It is so funny to watch. He is actually a very careful baby. It is good you got Eliya as I am sure he will catch up quickly. Every baby is so different. Noah doesn't say many words yet...mainly just Dada. Does Eliya?

I have no idea if there will be a #2!! I just don't know! I think every day I have a different opinion. I just don't know! I love this age and after Noah became like 6 mos, it was so much easier. But it is still a lot of work with both of us working FT!

I have to get back to work. Seltzer - where are you????

Hey Shari and Tina!! So good to hear from you both. I am so glad you all are doing well. We are doing great, aside from my lack of weight loss and my exhaustion, LOL. Keira is an absolute joy and I can't imagine life without her. She is turning one on 8/2. We are having a small party that day. She has been crawling like a madwoman on a mission since about 8 months I guess, and standing for a while now, and cruising alongside furniture. She says "uh oh" when she drops things, and "da da" for baby, and I think she might be saying "ba" for bottle. And, swear to God, she copies her brother when he screams "NO!!!!" (which is often) and also when he roars like a lion. Yes, the child actually roars like a lion EXTREMELY loudly when he is pissed off (which is often). LMAO. He is AWESOME. Just wait till the babies hit the 2's...it is SO MUCH FUN. Keira sleeps well at night (about 11 hrs) but has thrown the napping schedule out the window. I think she is just way too excited about life in general, and about hanging out with her brother (Nate will be 3 in Dec.). I never got my period back (not that I really miss it) so I had to go on the pill. I did that for a month and the side effects sucked so bad I went off it. I was eating up a storm, had trouble sleeping, and was just generally miserable. I will post a pic of Keira on photobucket. I want to see pics of Noah and Eliya! As I alluded to, I am still trying to lose weight but it's so hard while I'm at home. Taking care of children FT is just so demanding and unrelenting that I find it virtually impossible to attend to anything else. Oh well, they will both be in school before I know it. Tina - glad the Goddard School is going well, and Shari - so glad Eliya's PT progress is going well. I think those types of delays are so common. God love you for wanting to do this again! I could never do it again! The misery of the pregnancy and post-partum stuff was way too intense. W/B soon you guys! I have missed you. :)

Hi Everyone! Sorry I've been MIA. Adjusting to a working motherhood lifestyle has been difficult for me. I've just had my son evaluated and I'm all stressed out about it. My son, Cody has not started walking yet. It's worrying me now. I've been made to feel like a bad mother. My son is so behind it isn't funny.

Hope all is well with the rest of you. I'll post a picture of my darling later.

Tryw8-

I can relate! My Eliya is also about 3-4 months delayed physically. He belly crawls all over, but he doesn't walk, and doesn't do many transitions. He JUST started standing. He goes for physio, and is coming along. I know how you feel. But when I am feeling rational, I think that some kids just need to blossom on their own timeline. If Eliya could talk, he'd probably say "I'm just not ready yet, mommy. Relax, I'll get there!"

And I'm sure he will, as well as Cody.

Hi Mommies!

How are you all doing? I hope life is coming along smoothly for all of you. I'm sure your babies are blossoming more and more every day, as is mine!

Well I am back here again. I began suppression a few weeks ago, and then stopped. Why, you ask? Well, I decided to POAS the day I missed my period, and lo and behold, I found out I was pregnant! Naturally! So I am now on the August 2010 thread with a new bunch of lovely ladies. Missing my 2008 crew though! Just a little nervous about the pregnancy given my tubal damage, but on the positive side, my beta numbers have been increasing nicely. Plus, I REALLY feel pregnant. I go for my 3rd beta tomorrow, and am NERVOUS once again. Anyone out there remember the agony of 'the wait'???

Hope to hear from you all soon!

Hugs,
Shari xo

Hi All!

I almost forgot how to get here to this board. How is everyone doing? My Cody just turned two. He's still seeing therapist(s). He started walking around at 16 months. Sad to say, he's still behind everyone else his age. He's not talking yet. He understands everything that we say but doesn't use his words. I've heard things like: "dog" "dark" "cold" "mom" "dad" "more" and sounds of consonants and vowels but nothing else. I'm getting discouraged and irritated with others making comments about my husband and I regarding Cody.

This is it for now. Take care!
