Newby here needs advise on IVF clinics

Post by antoc28 »

Hello everyone,

after and EP last year which caused my left tube to be removed and several investigations which showed the remaining tube to be utterly unfit for natural conception, I am now considering IVF.

My consultant suggested two hospitals to get NHS treatment (if I meet their criteria!), and these are:
- Hammersmith Hospital in London or
- Bourne Hall Clinic near Cambridge.

I had a look at both their websites but couldn't really draw any sensible conclusion.

Does any of you ladies have any experience (direct or indirect) of either of these two hospitals to help me decide which is the best one for me?

many thanks for your help,

Antonellaxxx

Hi

I have no experience with either but I would suggest looking at the HFEA website for more info and contact your local primary care trust to see if there is any difference in funding, waiting lists, etc for these.
