Congrats KAYCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This thread has started out with a BFP from you and I'm sure more are to come.

Ladies- I'm so busy I will not have time to do personals until this weekend, but I am keeping everyone in my thoughts.

AFM- My lupon shots are going fine and my RE told me that the day of my FET will be on August 14 if ultrasound goes well that week.

Thank you all for your warm wishes and congratulations!! I am still in shock!!! I can't believe it really happened!!! My 2ww were a nightmare, I cried like crazy, I did a lot of heavy lifing (27lbs 19 month old DS) and I didn't have any sympthoms at al!! I honestly thought I have ruined our chances. But it worked and we are going back again on monday for second Beta... fingers crossed everything keeps going smoothly. I need a lot of sticky dust for my little beanie!!! To all of you my cylce friends thank you so much for all your support, love you all and I'll try to catch up with you to do personals!!!

I'm sending you Baby Dust your way!!!

KayCe- I imagine it must feel pretty surreal to be pregnant after such an emotionally difficult cycle, but I think we all find it pretty inspiring. Looking forward to hearing even higher numbers for your second beta!

All of you who are currently waiting to start - sending many patience vibes to you! Before you know it, you'll be impatient during your 2WW!

cressicaw - Yeah, the decision of how many to put back is hard. Luckily, this time the decision was easy, since there's no way I'd put in more than 2 5-day blasts. Twins okay, trips I just don't think we could handle.

Dogz and cheeky - my 2WW pals - hope all is going well for you. How are you keeping yourself distracted?

Sunny - I hope your US goes well, and that you get lots of questions answered!

I can't remember who asked about baby aspirin - I don't think it's used universally. I didn't have it for either cycle, though others in my clinic did. I don't know how they decide that.

I am really looking forward to getting back on my feet tomorrow. My doctor suggested I take a Valium today (probably because DH told him that I was "not so good at the bed rest thing"), and so I didn't do much but sleep through today.

Hello Ladies of the July/August thread! I've moved over from the June/July thread to join this one. My first cycle was canceled and eagerly waiting for AF so I can start over again. Hopefully it will come some time this week!

It is nice to read about a whole different group of ladies, it is also nice to see some familiar names. Good luck to all and I look forward to keeping up with you guys.

Michelle, once I actually start BCP then I'll have you add me to the list.

Hi Girls. Thanks so much for the ICSI info. I found it all very helpful and feel much better about the procedure. Also thanks for the support re: my clinic. I am hoping after today things turn around. As of last night, they had received all my labs, tests and referrals....I am hoping that my experiece with them is more positive now. Last night I received all my meds. I am surprised to see my progesterone came in suppositories. I though the IM injections were more effective. I am scheduled to start Lupron tonight but I am still waiting for the doc to call with a decision on my polyps. They said I should hear by noon. Let's hoe I do not have to chase them down. Well I gotta get back to work. Have a great day!

Miyaya- I had polyops removed last week and am set to start as soon as AF comes, getting them removed isnt that big of deal, my dr wanted them out as so they wouldnt interfere with anything. AF should be here next week

Wow, I can't believe "gi" is all the way in Ireland. My husband and I want to plan a trip there but haven't been able to narrow a location down. We love being secluded and near the cliffs.... with some old castles, any suggestions?

Kayce - how many embryos did you transfer? I have to ask, have you gone shopping yet? Just curious. I don't think I could wait to run out and buy a little onezy. That is just so exciting.

miyaya- we are doing ICSI too, my husband has morphology issues. My doctor says that there may be a chance that the flooie gets damaged but they are so precise that he doesn't see an issue. I had read 70% will be fine and when I told him these statistics he said my research is outdated and those numbers have improved substantially.

cheekyone - I remember our first insemenation my husband had 10 million and I thought that was sooo much. It is funny how sensitive the doctors are to low sperm count, they never want to hurt the DH feelings but if it is a problem with us they are very direct. They gave him some kind of vitamin and it has been doubling ever since, now he is up to 50 million and he has been taking the vitamins for about 1 year or so. He has morphology issues though, so we have to do ICSI.

((((hugs to all)))) Lots of sticky prayers your way... this is a very luck board!!!!

finally some news

Post by miyaya »

well my office finally decided to step it up and call back with some real information. Have good and bad news. Bad news is I do have to have polyps removed so we will have a delay. Not sure how long as I am waiting for my OB to call me back with surgery date. On the good news front, dh seman analysis concentration was low at 17 mil however his motility was 75%. So they do not think we will need to do ICSI. Also, my insurance has a maximum allowance for fertility. I was getting nervous b/c each time I got a med order it was 3000 plus dollars. At that rate, I was afraid we would not have any left over. Well my plan administrator called me and told me that all meds are seperate and therefore do not accumulate towards my allowance. I was so happy. While I know we are fortunate to have insurance at all, it was not much so to hear I might be able to stretch it further was music to my ears.

Long story short, not sure if i will be cycling with you ladies after all. depending on when my removal is, looks like September is more my time.

Monitoring Visit

Post by butterfly78 »

I had my monitoring visit today. I had one large follicle looking thing (they thought it could have been my former cyst) measuring 12mm, but the rest of my 10 or so follicles/andules? were small. My estrogen was high around 400. I'm going back in on Friday for another monitoring visit AND then will likely have ER on 7/28 or 7/29. Grow follicles GROW!!!!!!!!!!

Ladies, i just want to say thank you for all the PMA and the power dust that u guys have sent my way. My RE finally called me an hour ago and told me that all 4 of my embies are doing "very good" and that he could not have wanted better outcomes. Wow! First time he said that. Anyway since they're all good they cannot decide which ones to transfer tomorrow so he wants to do a 5 day transfer on Sat instead. I just hope that they continue growing as well all the way. Keep sending me the power dust!

I'm sending lots of stickie dust to our ladies in the 2ww and grow follies dust to those on the way to ER and lots of PMA to those waiting for August/Sept to roll around. Hugs to all of u. U'll really made me feel better yesterday as i was a nervous wreck. :)

babies - that is wonderful news!!!! I had no doubt that your 4 little ones would grow strong. Grow embies grow!

butterfly - doing to grow follies grow dance for you!

miyaya - great news about the insurance! We too are fortunate to have coverage and are also SO thankful the meds do not count towards our max. Our meds have been over $4000 eeek! I'm sorry about your delay. While delays can be so frustrating, the perfect time set aside for you and your little one is right around the corner!

Johannanita - WELCOME to the thread! Doing the AF dance for you my dear!

beth - I have nothing to distract myself as I am off for the summer (yay teachers!!!). Amazingly, I am doing just fine. I have a great and mighty God who has shown me miracle after miracle during this whole process, so I know my little embies are in His life-giving hands. My hubby is getting a bit impatient though. He is beside himself with excitement!

tangela - when do you start stims?

AFM - just waiting. And waiting. Is it next Wednesday yet?

It is so nice to hear all the good news that is happening on this board.
I must say I am a little intimated by it with all the people posting.
I will try my best to keep up. My personality is I tend to hang back and just read about eveyone's exciting and happening news rather then post about myself.

Kayce- Congrats on your BFP! That is so great.

AFM- I start Lupron on the 26th! YAY ME!
