BabiesGalore - that is so great! My doctor told me that the best day to transfer is day 5, for some reason that means they are very strong. Good luck!!!

Dogzrule- This is my first cycle. My husband and I have been TTC for 2 years. It has taken us a year to get to this point so we are really excited. The Dr.'s have high hopes for us which is always great to hear.

It is great to have people who are going through exactly what you are going through.

dogzrule - Thanks for the little dance. Now everyone do the AF dance.

So although I've been cramping, nothings happening. I decided to call RE and she told me to come in the am for bw to see what's going on. She said I might need provera (or something like that) Does anyone know what it is and it's purpose? It really needs to come today or else I'm screwed. I'm supposed to go away this weekend but I might be on day 2 or 3 this weekend and will need to go in for baseline. :? Oh well.

Has anyone tried accupunture? I started 2 weeks ago but today was only my second session. I also have severe endo and supposedly it's supposed to help with that too. The doctor said I should feel less pain during my AF. If it ever gets here. lol It's also supposed to help with hormone inbalances. My cycle was canceled because my E2 was too low and I didn't respond so well. Anyone else?

Hi Ladies!

I finally start lupron (again) today! Woohoo, it feels good to finally be doing something, now I just have to pray it does what it is supposed to and my suppression check in 8 days will be good!

johannanita- I took provera a few weeks ago when my cycle got cancelled due to high e2. I took one pill a day for 7 days and when I stopped taking them, I got af in 3 days. It was to bring on af quicker so I could start again.

penny- welcome, you will really enjoy sharing this journey with others going through it. I am glad your Dr has high hopes, that is always a good thing. If you give me your dates, I can add you to our list.

dogz- hang in there, wednesday is only a week away!

babies- that is awesome news! I will pray that your embies hang in there for 2 more days.

butterfly- sounds like you are getting close, we will be waiting to hear your next update on friday.

miyaya- so sorry about the polyp, I had one removed too and got delayed by a month. The delays really stink, but it is good they are getting rid of anything that might be in the way.

ok, dinner time, I will catch up again soon, everyone take care!

Johannanita - I tried accupunture. The doctor told me I had a cold uterus and to lay out in the sun more to heat it up, I said, "wow, you can tell a lot by looking at a girls ear." At this point I had only the needles in my ear. My doctor said to discontinue going once we started the meds, so I did. It did feel relaxing and the acupunturist said that I needed more blood flow to the uterus and it helped, so who knows. I will try anything, I suppose.

Penny - Welcome!!!

Wow! so many people to post to!!!

CT_Michele- YEY! you started the process! Best of luck this cycle!PMA, PMA!

miyaya- it's good that things seem to be moving forward for you and that the clinic has been more positive. i woke up in a great mood and i'm actually proud that i didn't "lose it" about my nurse situation! i decided for my sake i am just going to let it all go so i can get through this with fabulous results! it's all about us you know miyaya!

butterfly & cressicaw- i don't know what to say except that 3 doesn't seem like overdoing it! i would pursue it!

fitzjr11- i guess that's good about the removal....now the fun begins, right? i am doing the AF dance for you as we speak.

dogz & beth84- how many more days ladies??? i think i might be more excited than you. stay cool! 8)

katie99- how are the sinuses? more importantly...are the cops onto you ( or us) yet? :P

babiesgalore- best of luck on the transfer Saturday! good vibes going out to you!

KayCe- did you start shopping yet? i walked by FAO Schwartz today i caught myself daydreaming looking through the window. Well, i didn't go in, i didn't want to jinx myself! Maybe in a few weeks if you send me your good luck!

tangela & Johannanita- welcome and good luck this cycle!

gi- you are my small town "undercover" ivf buddy. don't you just love secrets! :)

ME: so, i asked all the questions, you would have been proud! day 8 and i am starting ganirilex again tonight and for the next 3-4 days. they think i may have the ER Mon or Tues but basically i'm on standby. I have 4 follicles all in the 11mm range ( okay) so i need a follie dance from you guys! my endo lining is at an 8 which is good too! has anyone had AH? i have been reading about the risks and how everyone over 37 has to do it. my doc didn't tell me that, just that i might have to. just wondering about other experiences!

thanks, and have a wonderful, emby sticking, follie-growing, AF dancing, eggy flourishing, baby shopping kind of night!

Penny - there are a lot of 1st-timers on here, me included! You are in good company. :D

Johannanita - AF came for me while I was in TX visiting my mom, but we knew this would likely occur. Our doctor gave us a lab note so that we could go to ANY lab no matter where I was and get the blood work done. We did exactly that, so there was no delay and everything worked out perfectly! I had already filled my BCP presc so that I would have it with me and could begin the night of AF. While I haven't tried acupuncture, there are a LOT of people who do it, and it certainly can't hurt! Wow, was that a pun? I just realized it as I wrote it...teehee.

Michele - yay for the lupron start! Doing the suppression dance for ya!

sunnygirl - GROW FOLLIES GROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!! I had a scary afternoon! I was out with the dogs playing with a ball when my ELDERLY great dane takes off at top speed snarling barking like crazy (she is almost 10 & sleeps 18 hrs a day) I turn around and there is a bear in my backyard!! she chases the bear while I'm screaming at her to stop & I'm running after her. CHAOS! She never quit and the bear went up a tree, and I almost had a heart attack. I see deer alot, But this was a full grown BEAR for the love of! In the middle of the day! Then she FINALLY comes inside & I tell you the dog was smiling & proud of herself! As I'm flipping out. Thank god the bear was scared off! Great - now I'm afraid of my own yard. Can you imagine if that happened while stimming when you're all slow- moving? I hope to never see that again  OK back to ivf

johannanita / fitz - I'm still doing the AF dance for you guys!

miyaya - sorry to hear - I know how it sucks to be cancelled, but anything that will improve your chances, right?

babies - dont be nervous, I think your little embies will do great!!!

penny - Welcome! We will be very close on the cycle, I start lupron 3 days after you

michele - I am so praying that your E2 doesnt raise too much!!

Hi Ladies

Katie99- I would have just died if I was in your shoes. I don't think I would have live to tell the story :o Happy to you you and your dog are safe and please, take the bear spray out of the junk drawer. Looks like you may need it.

Sunnygirl- doing the follie dance for ya! I've kinda been on the board sinc the beginning but not a lot of posting :-) Thanks for the welcome!

Johannita
- I'm currently doing acupunture. I started in June and my FET is scheduled for August. I was going every two weeks until last week. My acupunturist recommended weekly visits for the 4 weeks until my ET. It's very relaxing and my RE was excited that I was going. I've read positive results from ladies who incorporated it with IVF. I heard that is is suppose to help with the lining which helps with implantation and blood flow to the uterus. I also heard that it helps produce better quality eggs. I know that it can't hurt only help.

CTMichele- Great news! I know you are happy to be starting something.

Dogzrule
- I'm doing an frozen embryo transfer so all I'm doing is lupron, estracte pills and PIO. Next Wednedsay will be here before you know it!

Everything went well and 14 eggs were retrieved! We should be called tomorrow morning about fertilization, etc.

I'm really worn out and very very sore so I'll catch up with all of you girls later or tomorrow.

and question! Does anyone know for sure when you start PIO? I was so doped up for the retrieval I can't remember what the nurse said. Hubby said he thought that she said 2nite, but now he is second guessing.

Wow - I leave the boards alone for half a day, and I'm already behind.

Bears, Katie? Bears?

I want to do some personals, but I'm wiped out. We did the first part of our move today, and even though I'm not lifting anything, all the back and forth and cleaning (in Virginia heat) was a little much for me. But hey, moving is a great way to distract oneself during the 2WW. I'm off from teaching for the summer as well (thank goodness!) but have some other work to keep me busy without being too stressful.

lw - 14 is fantastic - I'm so happy for you. Get some rest!

As soon as I have the energy tomorrow, I'll start doing all sorts of dances for people: the AF, the grow follies, the sticky embies, and PMA for everyone!
